fantastic 1991 release,from wcfoom records and tapes,the first half is demos,outtakes,alternate mixes,and things that eventually surfaced on 7 inches,as well as covering flipper .that is followed by 2 live gigs.the first is opening for post mortem in kent,ohio in 91.has an anal cunt cover,butthole surfers,38 special,and their stupid original tunes.the second gig here is opening for suckdog in PA,in 1990.performed entirely on acoustic guitar with bongos,this is a riot!covers of lynyrd skynyrd,butthole surfers,inxs,and the grateful dead,and a few of their own crappy compositions.tardcore you can't live without,that's sockeye,folks!lots o info in zip!

SUCKDOG-little flowers dying

man,i never realized how hard it is to find some lisa carver on the web!i found the first lp(drugs are nice)and some costes and another earlier project from lisa(psycodrama),but this,probably her most coherent album,is to be found nowhere but here!spooky,haunting,and beautiful,much like lisa herself.great songs of despair and depression.fuck,flowers of darkness,and asseater all covered songs from this album,found on the suckdog tribute,"generation xl" ,found elsewhere on this blog.one of her shining moments,i commend thee!if you never heard this don't be put off by the name,some great stuff that folks should be hearing.

an acoustic duo,consisting of tony boies and bryan richardson,kinda goofy, but maybe not as goofy as,cauliflower ass and bob.taking on english accents,between acoustic ditties,talking like mr.bean meets monty python,and singing of fred sanford,a suckdog cover,let the sun shine in cover,like a demented woody guthrie lost album.some serious numbers here,but still with the between song patter of limeys gone wild!pretty cool for a lazy afternoon,have a cold one and get dizzy and topless,girls!

"look,some teenage flesh",utters marty nation ,in the car with lydia lunch,referring to lung leg frantically signaling to them on the side of the road,in richard kern's movie,"fingered".so that's where the name came from.the music,recorded in 3 seperate sessions over a year and a half,is the product of listening to lydia lunch,hanatarash,the boredoms,black metal,punk rock,henry rollins,jap-core,noise and industrial,suckdog,and other similar influences.some off-shoot bands,recorded in the interim,and sounding much like this(and already posted elsewhere on this blog)are the mummyboys and opie ,who share a 5 song split.there is a remake of a cat machine song written by chipmunk,a cover of the profesionals,a cover of the jefferson's theme,and some hip-hop old school scratching.themes of loneliness,depression,and hate of all ,are very apparent.just great noisy-depresso punk.one of my favorite solo outings.G O D . https://archive.org/download/TeenageFlesh/096TeenageFlesh.zip
