 first of all,let's talk about the stunning art,by Zach Neukam,which I based my nearly hour long soundscape on.He almost always draws the same woman,she will be appearing on more NOISEKILLR album covers soon,as Zach has permitted me to use some of his drawings,thank you,kind sir,for that privelege,which are absolute masterpieces! I used AI to color in the black and white line drawing,and it totally reminded me of like a chick from Heavy Metal comics or even the movie ,Heavy Metal,just some badass babe ,who you would be happy to have on your side.The title of the album is also from a comment Zach made about this drawing.The song title ,on the other hand,is a rambling statement I came up with while drinking and smoking and carousing,and i wrote it down,like I always do,I have so many little pieces of paper ,everywhere in my house ,with song titles,album titles,band names,lyrics,jokes,addresses,eventually I find things like this ,and use them ,because who knows the next time I'll see that piece of paper?? The title is from a myopia song,that only a handful of people have ever heard.
The meaning I read into it,is John Wayne Gacy and his Pogo the clown character,and just the fact that clowns are often scary and creepy to some people,weird and nightmare inducing paintings of clowns,killer clowns from outerspace,and remember the rash of roadside clown sightings a few years back? This is a trippy soundtrack to a movie never made,a movie in my head where a demented laughing clown chases someone down a dark hallway in an abandoned building,all the while swinging a knife and a hammer and maniacally giggling and screaming.The sound is psychedelic noise rock ,leaning more towards mind blowing sounds,than actual music.A feeling of dread is conjured up,and hangs stiffly in the stagnant buzz of warm amplifier feedback.And the garish sideshow-like art of Grey Meatballs,our Sluggisha in-house artist.there is only one track,"Clown Is For Killing",and there is no back cover for this disasterpiece soundscape of the hall of whirling clown knives!  Yeah anyone can do it.....make your own NOISEKILLR!!! Now,its hard making a new release every day for a whole year,but here I am doing it! And you can too! If you have time,of which I have nothing but!! I do have my daily chores and duties around the house,and to my family,and whatever free time I have,which sometimes is very minimal,I experiment with sounds ,noise,and whatever I decide to use as instruments that day.Everything is an instrument,as long as you play it correctly.So quit reading this,listen to this release for instruction,and then let it rip!! NOISEKILLR - Tree Fall - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 80

 There was a rain tree in my front yard,that was right between the electric line,and internet line,coming into my house.And it was impeding my flow to the septic drainfield,due to root growth.I had to take a few different chainsaws to it,for a couple of days,to bring it fully down.you can hear me yell,"Timber.....ton",(Tim Burton), right as it falls in day 1,and the tape got ate shortly after that,(you can hear me say,"Ahhh FUCK!!")as the handheld recorder i was using to document this in field recordings,batteries had died. For day 2, I got new batteries,and it's mostly the sound of chainsawing all the limbs into either kindling wood,or logs.These are true field recordings ,with all the sounds heard being recorded in real time,there are a few pauses here and there,and moments where there is near silence,but also the sound of logs being loaded into a wheelbarrow,and brief snatches of conversations.Half the wood has been burned as of this morning.in my fire pit in the back yard,which is around 8 feet deep,its like an incinerator,and can burn even the greenest wood.I suspect the rest will be gone soon,as well.I am making the bottom part of the tree,from stump up,about 4 1/2 foot long,into a bench,and the part of the tree ,right above that,which was the spawn of about 6 main limbs,into a stool,turning it upside down onto the limb side,as legs,and using the flat trunk side ,as the seat. So yeah,this is chainsawcore,or maybe lumberjackcore,or possibly just treecore,with apologies to Josh Boutwell.

A harsh noise tribute to Patty Hearst on her birthday.....I did one for Tania,her terrorist alter-ego, back in the beginning of the month,on the anniversaty of the day she was kidnapped by the SLA.This was made with a base of the Half Japanese song,"Patty Hearst",with Jad and David Fair's wonderful singing and playing,and I simply sampled and ran thru multiple effects pedals,and twiddled and turned knobs,to create this harsh soundscape,that Patty would probably hate! As will most people who don't "get" noise!

Back in 1995 ,when I bought The Haters new (at the time) double 7" single,"Drops Ascending",I never dreamed in a million years that I would get to do a split release with the guy making all that noise I heard on that record! I was nearly a 10 year veteran of the noise scene,(ha! where I lived ,the noise scene was me,annoying bar patrons and bands waiting their turn,alike!),and thought to myself,"noise,on a record?" ,I mean I heard noise rock,and Steve Reich,and Harry Partch,and Glen Branca ,and Sonic Youth,and The Boredoms,and lots of other "noise" rock,not real noise,like I was making,and I know many others were too.And GX was one of the first,possibly the godfather,of modern noise,as we know it,and I am humbled,and honored to have him accept my invite to do a split with me,for my 40th anniversary celebration of creating experimental noise as NOISEKILLR! ,So thanks you Gx, and you all should follow him on facebook,as well as me,see ya there!! DROLL YANKEES - No.3 -Seaport Series - Sounds Of The Sea

Organic industrial , avant-garde , musique concrete, audio verite ,call it what you will ,you'll be trippin 'on this release from 1962(!!??!!) Out of Providence ,RI . The plans are laid out on the record label above ,as to what you will be hearing.Quite jarring ,and a great soundscape for folks in mid-america ,not near any kind of ocean ,or people up north in the snow ,who would like to escape ,if only for the length of this recording.All the pertinent info is listed on the labels ,as there is no back cover ,just blank. I'd like to hear the rest of this series,but all web searches have been for nought. Droll Yankees is now a pet supply company,still located in RI ,specializing in bird feeders.Go figure!
