     Mein Count is my pal from Canada,and he plays and sings some punk rock weird songs that are funny and odd! Very interesting and I'm glad he accepted my offer to do a split for Noisekillr's 40th Anniversary celebration.You should go to youtube abd watch the live set he did in his room the other day,it's the best thing I saw and heard all week!! Noisekillr does rasta reggae,the way only he can....playing bass lines to pre set drum machine adding dub guitar with delay pedal,and samples of a crazy rasta man ,and some horn sections on a few tracks,this is a stoner's pipe dream!! 32 leaves,is 32 tracks of weird,experimental,effect pedal fuckery,that was made for the short attention span folks,and those who havent the time to wait for all the album to play,just peel off a paper at a time,roll one up,and listen to a track or two.Rolling papers are something that has been a part of daily life for me,since around summer of 1978,so it's only natural that this release would eventually come about.To be clear ,I've never referred to papers as "leaves",but for the sake of this release,each track is a "leaf"....Noise came to me thru a series of choices I made musically....and my love of annoying the fuck out of normal people,but this is a labor of love,love for the sacred herb,the ganja,my true love,MaryJane,and love for the vehicles used to get it into my blood and brain,namely rolling papers....as I grow older ,joints are the way for me....had many pipes in my youth,and did massive bong hits many times,but always loved a joint the best...and still do! It's too hard on my lungs to do modern "dabs" or even bong hits of weed,and pipes haven't ever really appealed to me much,so it's papers for me,all the way!! ONE FELL SWOOP - The Lungs Have Eyes

The 14th (!) release from this unheard,underground,outsider,cult-band ,who picked up where Cat Machine left off! This is one of my personal favorites from OFS ,with really good songs ,and a cover of "Night Of The Living Baseheads" ,by Public Enemy! A dog named,"Catfish" ,(the song has a weird breakdown in the middle ,with mechanical sounds and some sort of horn),"Mall Music", and "A Metal Thing" ,in which Gramps arrives at the end of the tune ,to talk/inquire about, "a metal thing". I mean this thing is great from start to finish,I really do enjoy it,and so should you. A good starting point ,for those not yet in the know! The album title relates to weed ,in some way! Recorded 10/22/1991, 20 years ago today!

ONE FELL SWOOP - Jamming Without Burnables

October 19 ,1991 ,was a weedless day for the Swoop, hence the album title. We tried to alleviate the pain by running thru a cover medley of "Sweet Leaf/Paranoid" (Black Sabbath ,of course!) ,but then delved into the depths of depression with ,"Our Lives Are Over". There are some choice cuts here ,and Chipmonk goes off on a cover of Chuck Berry's ,"Johnny B. Goode" ,which rips Michael J. Fox's version, a new asshole! We even tackle the drug epidemic of the day with the song ,"Ecstacy Street"! Really good session,despite the dope-sickness.

TANKOTA

This band is an off-shoot of the Apocalyptic Centurions.a guitar orchestra pared down to 2 sometimes 3 guitars,later tapes may have more.This is the first tape from Oct. 1992.Tankota is an anagram of a statement on the back of the first Boston album,"There Are No Keyboards On This Album",and there are no keyboards on this album either!All the sounds you hear were produced by guitars,sometimes effected.The 1st track here is Joel,Vance,and me,titled "Trinidad(Boston jr.)"which is a reference to a great 70's movie"Desperate Lives",about at risk kids getting in trouble,and Trinidad is their keyword for herb.The "boston jr."part of the title is because of where I got the name of this fascinating ensemble.The 2nd track is just me and Vance,and is longer by half.Lots more to come from Tankota,See if you can get thru this first!!
