The title is something I heard someone say,and I cracked up and immediately wrote it down ,for later use. And the time has finally come!! I had to unleash this gaseous sound upon the unsuspecting public,and those who know me best ,know I have always dabbled in the poop,fart,pee,barf style of folks like GG Allin,Sockeye, hell,even some of my own bands were turdcore,look up "Putrid Teeth" sometime,why don't ya!!

AUGUST SPIES - LP

In their only LP ,Massachussetts August Spies ,re-records a lot of earlier numbers and lays down some new anarchist punk songs.With covers of GG Allin and The Avengers, and Ashey on vox and guitar,this band is a punk force to be reckoned with.Veterans of the punk scene,they have opened for more big-name punk bands than you can count on your fingers(and toes!)Some of their finest moments are caught on this release,tho' some of these did have more punk furor on the original demo tapes.Ashey's mom was the cover model,and was apparently the coolest punk mom on the scene!This is the sound of anarchy! If you claim to be a true punk ,and you have not yet heard August Spies,I don't know how you can make that claim! Ashey is punk's "everyman" ,and his lyrics defend that notion. KAAGOOTAABAA - The Sensitivity Sessions

We've seen ,and heard ,John from Kaagootaabaa ,grow over the succesion of tapes he's been recording since last year. On this all-new ,2 disc set (with a whopping 85 cuts!) ,I was reminded several times of the Royal Trux double-LP masterwork ,"Twin Infinitives" ,and I must say , that this Kaagootaabaa release is the best yet. Recorded over Nov-Dec 2011 ,it sounds as if doing that split with Skindust a while back ,rubbed off on John a little.Pitting pensive ,moody acoustic guitar pieces ,against brutal and sometimes harsh noise pieces,and mixing in some power electronics sounding shit,along with inane vocalizing , is a winning combination on this recording. Split into 2 discs ,the first is, "Songs Of Love And Dance" , is back and forth every other song switching from mellow guitar instumentals ,to ear-blasting slabs of mindless noise. With an obligatory GG Allin cover song. Disc 2 ,"Songs Of Fun" ,include more of the hilarious song titlings ,as the first disc did, and features Dr. Bad Touch on keys ,on one number. Yes, John's come a long way in a short amount of time. Look for Kaagootaabaa on upcoming splits with like-minded artists. A whole lot of Kaagoo ,to take in all at once ,maybe too much fore some,but well worth it! This is the masterpiece John will have to live up to ,and follow-up with something even wilder!(if that's at all possible , I don't see how!)

ZATH's second Christmas album (last year's "Zither Away The Holidays" ,was a real hit!) ,leads off with a decidedly un-christmas song ,Lennonburger's ode to Ronald Reagan ,"Reagum"! This guy sent in a second tape ,and you can hear it this time!! Different from the first recording,this is more guitar based,and noisy. He even kicks in with some GG Allin lyrics,(Bite It You Scum), on the second track, "This One Will Never Sell,They'll Never Understand" !Keep sendin in your stuff ,dude ,I'll post it all! Here's what he had to say about this :

ANAL PAIN - Six Inches

Weird,computer produced,syncopated keyboard doom/tard/metal ,led by death metal vocals,and low growl spoken pieces,this sounds to me like the pop/scum/grindcore split e.p. ,that G G Allin and Seth Putnam ,never got to make together! The singing is a cross of both those guys,and the spoken stuff sounds like G G's stuff with Shrinkwrap,and his jailhouse diatribes.Really demented and funny ,with some synthesized metal riffs. There's even a cover of Guns And Roses ,"Welcome To The Jungle" , re-tooled here as ,"Welcome To BoJangles" ,with hilarious vocals and lyrics.Another big change-up here is ,"Oi,Oi,Vegemoi" ,where the vocals and viewpoint,are from that of an Aussie.And that cover art is something else! Holy crap!
