 Carsten Vollmer is from Essen,Germany ,and creates experimental sounds from frequencies he creates.He is also on a year long quest,where he is creating a collage artwork every day of 2026,hence the cover art he created.Noisekillr does a psych noise guitars track with many twists turns and surprises,and then does 4 totally different remixes of the same track ,with times ranging from 36 seconds,to 2 hours and 37 minutes,making this the longest split (and track) that Noisekillr has ever produced,full release clocking in at 4 hours long!!! the collage art seen below was made by Carsten,and there is a collage I made from parts of his art work,as well as 5 artworks i made,one for each part of my monstrosity!!  here are some places you can keep up with Carsten,a very interesting guy::::

BLACK METAL CULT 20

Yes! ,We've reached the concluding volume to this masterful online compilation series.Hans Gudengast,of  the black metal band,Tyrantyr,in Germany,put all this music together in a 20 disc set and sent it to me to post to this blog,back in 2011-12.The title of the series,(Black Metal Cult) ,is a little misleading,as all genres of black metal were explored,as well as bands that really don't fit into any "black" sub-groups.Also the series was given it's title by me,way before a record company of the same name popped into the scene,I am not affiliated with that label,and have only good things to say about them.As for as my pal ,Hans,I know there will be a seat in Valhalla awaiting him,for the work he's done here,as well as for his band,Tyrantyr, keeping the metal black!Also Hans almost made a perfect "H" band cd ,if not for that pesky Black Dawn there to mess it up!! I almost made this one sub-titled ,"Volume H"! What's with the "H" ,Hans? Heil Hitler?,Heroin?,Hamburgers? Is it for your name? (Hans) ,is it representative of where we are all going? (Helvete or Hell),or maybe it was an out-take disc from an A thru Z  set of 26 discs,each one highlighting bands of that particular letter of the alphabet? That would be a cool one to do next ,Hans!

 War and winter,two elements that are usually present in most lyrical content of black metal,so they are pictured here for this volume..Hans Gudengast,of the band ,Tyrantyr,from Germany,compiled 20 volumes of black metal from his record collection,back in 2011-12,and sent it to me to post on my blog.After much hullabaloo,the final 5 volumes are now being uploaded and posted,one more to go and the online box set is complete!

Haha ,yes Hans Gudengast went Sesame Street on us,with this installment of the 20 part series.I noticed a lot of NS bands mixed in the series,hence the artwork,and also many bands that don't really fall into the genre of Black Metal,but that's okay,the majority of the tunes found on these comps ,is true black metal,and I'll give Hans a pass,he just wants to show off his collection,which I'm sure has grown to mountainous proportions by this point,6 years since he put this set together.

BLACK METAL CULT 16

Picking up this series again after a 6 year hiatus (all volumes 1-15 have been re-uploaded!),the 5 remaining volumes will be posted here in the next 5 days,starting here.These are all from the same time frame as the other volumes,from 2011-2012,just never posted.I was waiting on Hans Gudengast,of the band ,Tyrantyr, (compiler of these volumes,from his home in Germany),to send some of his band's music,which he did,and those tracks ended up on the "Nun So Black" 2 cd comp. on Sluggisha.I told him only then would I post the rest of this series.So here we are.

Z.A.T.H. - Zardoz Agnostic Termination Horde

The latest from ZATH,who are currently at work on their third Xmas release! This album was titled by a ZATH freak from Germany ,Morris Vollmann. Great cover versions of My Dog Popper,Rancid Vat ,and Lefty Frizell! Plus all the fun tardcore that ZATH always displays on each release.This is the first time that Food did not draw the art for the cover.I actually took pictures of this statue near where I live,because I always liked it ,and i just realized why ,when I was taking these photos.It resembles one of Food's artistic creations ,chiseled in stone!Food did the front cover work ,while I did the back side,in more ways than one!ha ha! Great tunes about the upcoming election ,and the candidates,as well as other topical ,and not so topical,subjects. If anyone is interested in purchasing any of the ZATH cds ,they are all available for $4 apiece ,or I can strike a deal with you ,If you wanna invest in the full set of discs!This is the "new wave" in music ,right now! MTV and VH1 ,can't find a way to get to us,to put us in their rotation,so they are shit outta luck.While you ,my friends,are some of the luckiest folks alive,to be able to hear this fabulous band's latest ,for free ,on this here blog.C'mon and download it! BLACK FOREST RAPE - Schwarzer Waldraub

The second phenomenal release from this up-and-coming ,almost indescribable band! Recorded in their hometown of Calw, in the Black Forest region of Germany. My pal over there ,Hans , he of the band Tyrantyr ,and master compiler of the Black Metal Cult series. His cousin provides the percussion ,a perfect foil to his friends black/death/doom/drone/psych/metal/
instrumental/stoner rock.
As you can see they used their native lingo for the album and song titles ,but if you download ,you will find the titles to be translated to english. The album title is just the band's name in German. 4 songs of varying lengths. The first track ,(Master Of The Whores), was previewed on the great, big Sluggisha #1000 compilation ,in a truncated (4:00) version , while here you have the full 26 minutes + album version! Trippy and distant ,making you feel drunk with cuntlove. The next track is based off a blues riff ,but degenerates several times into a psych/freakout meltdown. The third ,and shortest number here, is chunka-chunka thrash metal stylee ,and it all ends off with the final piece ,an atmospheric doom dirge ,using only the sounds of nature ,and a tolling bell. Fuckin' great band ,here ,mates! The zip contains more photos from the album cover sessions ,that weren't used!

LA GRANDE STORIA DEL ROCK - BIRTH OF THE BEATLES

The first side of this tape was recorded in 1961 in Hamburg with Pete Best ,Tony Sheridan,and The Beat Brothers. There is one Harrison/Lennon composition ,the rest are covers of then popular American rock n roll songs. Side B is live in Hamburg in 1962 ,has lots of speed-riddled chatter between songs,and covers more American rock tunes. Some of the vocals remind me of Elvis.
