NOISEKILLR - Innocent Marrow - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 125

Experimenting with another style/genre I've never tried,I will explore this more in the future,Witch House/Trance ,which utilizes dirty down south trap beats, reese basslines, oddly tuned synth/keys,and samples from old horror movies.....slightly out of sync with the world, experimental as always, and spooky, weird, and bizarre...great halloween vibes are kicked about,I almost did some vocals, and I probably will the next time I explore this and experiment again, some of the tracks sound like the goth music of the old days, back in the beginning mid 80s,I dunno,I was just fuckin around, thinking of stuff I used to do,thinkin of stuff i'm gonna do,thinkin of stuff i'd like to do,thinkin of stuff I wanna do,thinking of stuff I need to do,thinkin of stuff I never done, thinkin of stuff, thinkin of stuff, thinkin of stuff Im supposed to do.Anyway, witch house from Noisekillr, not really noise, not really harsh, more like club music for the underworld of invisible people you'll never meet

NOISEKILLR - I Hope You Die - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 57

More experiments, more successes! Inspired by an 68 yr old man on youtube doing techno beats in his backyard ,I wanted to re-create the sounds of 80s dancey new wavey stuff ,and i think I di pretty good! Keys sounding like riffs from Depeche Mode,Heaven 17,New Order,Human League, drunken bass, porno wah wah crybaby guitars, experimental yet heading in the direction of commercial sounding music, dare I say, which is a weird thing for NOISEKILLR!!  https://noisekillr1.bandcamp.com/album/noisekillr-i-hope-you-die-noisekillr-40-mvmt-57

SECRET SOCIETY - Too Blind To See

A new-wave ,alt-dance band ,classified as "free-style" in 1987 Miami. Sounding (and looking) much like Duran Duran ,The Cure ,and Depeche Mode ,combined ,with a few other influences thrown in the mix. I gotta say ,the last number ,the stupidly titled instrumental ,"69" ,sounds almost note-for-note like George Michael and Wham's hit ,"Careless Whispers". Apparently people raved about this cuban/latino group ,back then. Pretty fucking derivative ,if you're asking me. Memories of 80's teen flick soundtracks will fill your cranium! The album looks more goth than it actually is.

WINTER GARDEN - Summer's End

This was mastered at Morrisound Studios in Tampa ,by Jim Morris ,once the #1 studio and producer of Death Metal ,across the globe. It was recorded in Hudson , the next town south of me ,and I believe this band once(still?) lives there. If you enjoy the melancholy strains of Amy Lee fronting Evanescence ,or maybe Tori Amos ,you will like this. Alt-rock ,goth stylings ,and a Dali painting in the insert. Upon further investigation ,I found the singer of this duo (husband/wife or brother/sister?) had released a new album ,which appears from the cover art to be around the same perimeter as Sheryl Crow ,and her ilk. And I found some stuff which points to the fact that these folks are christian musicians. Maybe this is slightly before that period of their lives ,in 1997. Not bad for what it is.

FOG - Jezabel's Dream

Gothic/atmospheric death metal ,is what we have here on this rarity. Their only release (they had a previous life as "Fear Of God" (note the acronym) ,with a female lead singer (Dawn Crosby) ,who died.(read more here http://www.fear-of-god.com/ ).And here's an interesting historical note: former and current members of Dying Fetus, Agent Steel, Pessimist, Wrathchild America/Souls At Zero, Lizzy Borden, and Crowbar at some time or another were part of FOG precursors Fear Of God and Detente (an earlier band). I've include a few tracks from Fear Of God ,and one from an earlier band ,"Allies". Plus I put a cool video from Fear Of God. Not half as good as the black metal band of the same name, but decent.

SANITY ASSASSINS/DISPOSSESSED split

From East Hartford,CT,both bands have an eerie horror/goth/dark sound to them.Sanity Assassins is a little more punk edged, while Dispossessed sound like old Alice Cooper band meets later Damned, when they went spooky goth.Sanity Assassins also do a Damned cover, and do a damned good job!Timothy Renner who does their art has a Pushead/Misfits lettering style as you can see.i guess something's in the water in Connecticut! Can't find anywhere on the web, except now, here!I do believe Sanity Assassins did put out a few records, this is early on.First 5 tracks are from demo(pics in zip)
