NOISEKILLR - NK/CD - Noisekillr Ain't Rock N Roll Pollution - NOISEKILLR 40,MVMT 92

                                                                      alternate front cover:

Ever since AC/DC's ,"Back In Black" LP was released,I have not given in to the imposter Brian Johnson, him being a 4th rate, bottom rung imitator,of one of the greatest lead vocalists ,and front men in the history of rock music,Bon Scott! I could never get into them after Bon died, and felt the band were traitors to Bon ,by continuing on with a lame impression of their former singer/songwriter.I've heard all the post-Bon LPs thru my life, endlessly, and heard their latest and all that. It just never will achieve the heights they once did,pre-Back In Black. I know this might sound blasphemous to many, this LP is surely the favorite of many rock n roll fans, and ac/dc fans alike, and I will agree at least Angus and Malcolm kept the same sound with their riffs, but the vocals are beyond terrible ,in my opinion, there is no replacement for Bon Scott...... the follow up LP after his death, should have been a noise album,so I have decided to remix a couple songs from back in black,on my NK/CD (Noisekillr Compact Disc....one day soon!!) and I may do more in the future,as all the LPs following this, deserve the same treatment.and I do this in memory and in honor of Bon Scott,he deserved better than his untimely death and being replaced with a crud shrieker.I once met Brian Johnson down at Ft. Myers beach ,in a bar,by himself, with his dumb hat, drinking away. Also went on a mission once, with a friend, to bring Cliff Williams, bassist for ac/dc ,an eightball of coke to his house.AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams moved to Fort Myers, Florida, in 1986, suggested by bandmate Brian Johnson who lived nearby. While not a band recording hub, members used local facilities like Unity Gain Studio (est. 1989). Williams lived in the area for decades, selling a mansion in 2015.
Cliff Williams moved to Fort Myers in 1986 with his family. He continued to live there part-time for many years, selling a Gulf Harbor waterfront home in 2015.
While not the primary location for major album recordings, local Southwest Florida studios like Unity Gain hosted members of AC/DC.
Brian Johnson lived in nearby Sarasota, and the area remained a home base for members in the region.
So my stomping grounds were sallied by the likes of Brian Johnson, pretty funny, right?? Anyways, all these years later, and I did what always should have been done,A REMIX!!!! A NOISE REMIX!!!

THE GOLDEN THROWN - Majestick,Rejected

My pal ,Tony Rizzo,co-founder of Cat Machine, and member of many Sluggisha bands, with his latest project! I'll let him elaborate further!

Picking up where The Phantom Third left off, we find Tony Rizzo (founding member of The Mighty Cat Machine, and veteran of countless Sluggisha bands) in Chicago, where he answers an ad for a band to share the bill at a local bar, and gets selected based on the decade old demos of TP3.
Hustling to get a band together, he recruits co-workers Alex Insco and Jason Sneed, on drums and bass respectively. Crash course in learning a sets' worth of songs.
After that one gig, the rhythm section decided it wasn't their cup of tea...despite the fact that other gigs were on the horizon. SO, he brought in Jamie Kallend (who could often be spotted outside of gigs, scouring the gutter for cigarette butts) on bass, and Jason Dolan took over the drum stool. (having never really played in a BAND, before)
On the eve of a gig set to open for Mugen Hoso, from Tokyo, Jamie says he has class, and we should just not take the gig, if we can't all be there. Tony and Jason say to hell with that nonsense, and played the show as a POWERDUO, and stayed that way, playing several shows in and around Chicago, til Jason moved to New Mexico.
TGT became totally cohesive, and after one failed attempt at recruiting a bassist (he played well, but annoyed the HELL out of them), never looked back. Sadly, the best recordings they had are trapped on an mp3 player that refuses to respond to, or recognize ANY computer. Also, the display on it got jacked up, so hard to even pinpoint where the best material is.
Known to cover REM (mainly Monster-era deep cuts), Adam & the Ants,Stooges, and AC/DC (once had a full bar crowd shouting the OI! OI! OI! part on 'TNT'!!!)
Also culled tracks from several Sluggisha acts, like Myopia, OrangeClawHammer, and Boneshaker.
Always recorded live, whether to cassette, phone, or MP3--The Golden Thrown were loose, loud, raw and ROCK. or, as Tony dubbed it: dirtypopartpunkfuzzrock

CAT MACHINE -Satan's Nerds

Number 33 release from this prolific, underground ,cult-band of outsiders! Ed,Joel,Tony,Chipmonk, and Billy, let it rip ,once again!Lots of great songs, and funny little skits, that last as long as this sentence.I won't even mention the songs on here, they're all fabulous!Very experimental ,in parts, and punk-rockin' in other sections!I don't remember how we titled it,AC-DC has nothing to do with it,tho' ,"The Nuge" is mentioned briefly! You just can't find a more interesting band,a true desert island sort of group! 3/12/1991

SUPERCREEP

this is tardcore by sheer virtue of acid addled brain damage.richard martin on vox, brian reed drums, dave on bass, dug boone guitar, and steve reed guitar.they all play everything and switch up on vocals sometimes.i also hear keys and harmonica at points.most of this sounds like the recording style of the original old black bluesmen, and some lyrics and tunes have that downtrodden bluesy feel.richard is quite a character.some of his vocals are reminiscent of g.g.allin or sam kinison.and according to the song ,"richard's lament","he looks like sam kinison ,on a bad day, without his make-up on".features the worst covers you'll ever hear of u2's"sunday bloody sunday",and ac/dc's"highway to hell".funnier than hell!the longest ,and final track"we're orcs!",is uncharacteristic of the rest of the tape, and should be a college rock hit!there are some instrumental jams sprinkled in,and these guys thank the grateful dead and phish and hendrix in their liner notes.kinda like a tardcore mix of those artists.broken into 2 files ,as it was long.punks who became deadheads, this is punk!vive le' tardcore!
