 Carsten Vollmer is from Essen,Germany ,and creates experimental sounds from frequencies he creates.He is also on a year long quest,where he is creating a collage artwork every day of 2026,hence the cover art he created.Noisekillr does a psych noise guitars track with many twists turns and surprises,and then does 4 totally different remixes of the same track ,with times ranging from 36 seconds,to 2 hours and 37 minutes,making this the longest split (and track) that Noisekillr has ever produced,full release clocking in at 4 hours long!!! the collage art seen below was made by Carsten,and there is a collage I made from parts of his art work,as well as 5 artworks i made,one for each part of my monstrosity!!  here are some places you can keep up with Carsten,a very interesting guy::::

LIL' SHAVERS- 2 bits

this was recorded after a one fell swoop session ,with me,chipmunk,sean sommers,t.j.,and shannon.quite noisy,kinda heavy metallish,shannon does most of the singing,sounding sexy.she fakes an orgasm on here,and sean does some hilarious vocals.hard to say what this is,weird alt-punk,or acid-punk,it's out there.try to listen to this!the last track is from the aforementioned ofs session(titled,nubiles galore,i wonder why?),with joel,of course,and shannon on vox.t.j. and shannon were about 15-16 when this was recorded,and ofs were a bunch of perverted 20 somethings.from joel's room at cat machine house from 1992.

HEADLAUNCHERS

this little combo sprang up from joel,and i believe(joel correct me if i'm wrong)frank t.,tall ray,mike mezaros(mcschwuggles),someone else i can't recall,and later ,chipmunk.kinda alternative /psych/grunge/schwag ,with keys,guitar, bass,drums,and some vocals,where i think everyone gets a turn or two in some cases.really introspective,real life situationists,who could jam a carrot or a hat box,if no actual instruments were readily available.a cover of "wipe out" is included,kinda velvet/sonic/butts sound goin' down,i'm sure joel could add some commentary in the comments box below.check that for more info!for now,just slip this on and relax!

QUAALUDE--another lude

once again the slowest doom band ever,period,end of story!this version of quaalude is me,joel,chipmunk,billy,shane,and sean sommers,and is all on one speaker,sorry,we did'nt even know the tape was recording so fast,so in playback it was super mega slow,so how were we to know it would only record on one speaker?we did'nt.some fine trumpet playing by shane on."lower east mexico,ft.myers" and some scary vocals on the 4th and final track.this was actually recorded minutes before the other quaalude tape(look on this blog for it!) and has shorter songs.pretty industrial and spooky.check it out.baroque dub by tardly friends

LOSIN' IT

Formed around the time of the end of Cat Machine/beginning of One Fell Swoop,this is me,Joel,Chipmunk,and Vance.Songs about a dead friends car,a gumcloud,enviornmental issues,parody of Nine Inch Nails" Head Like a Hole"(Fart Like a Fiend),a GG.Allin cover(Needle Up My Cock),a few other sexually oriented songs,a 3 song Misfits medley,plus more.Not a bad listen ,at all,in fact rather enjoyable,especially to those in the scene.quite a likeable quartet!

APOCALYPTIC CENTURIONS

This is the first recording ever of the Apocalyptic Centurions.The band was me,Joel Rizzo,Chipmunk,Shane Carwile,and for some unknown reason,Nicholas Dunphee.Some things on here soon changed with the advent of the coming of the reign of the Apocalyptic Centurions.For one,there are some keyboards,a no-no in the greatest guitar orchestra of all time.Second,there are some vocals,next, actual formed songs,finally ,the appearance of Dunphee.When the live shows began,all this went into the trash,so we could be a fully instrumental,all guitar orchestra (with an ever-shifting line-up of guys with guitars ,eager to sign up for the cause!),and of course drums.Chipmunk and I both sing a little,mostly instrumental,with a foreshadowing of the trademark Centurions sound,of guitar noise and feedback,kinda Branca-like in parts.The only studio recording,made in the spacious living room of the old Cat Machine house.And it all began with the picture above,I saw it in Joel's room and said something like,"witness the rise of the almighty Apocalyptic Centurions!"and a new band was spawned!

INSECT T-SHIRTS

this little loud ,noisy band was comprised of me,tony rizzo,ron bohn,and chipmunk.loads of guitar,delay pedal,and a crazy sounding drum machine.only 9 songs,but they are long!me,tony,and chipmunk,all take a vocal turn,mostly instrumental tho'.the last track has samples from t.v. sounds like nothing else you ever heard,so it's hard to describe.if you like freaky spacy type bands,this is for you.if you like loud noisy bands,this is for you.if you like the black eyed peas,this is not for you!experimental and joyous,breathtaking and soaring to new heights in rock n roll

one of their only recordings,this is live at the draft house.sean burch (monson),billy,shane,and chipmunk,all play.i did not split the tracks to preserve the continuity,also i could'nt find where to split them.there's more tracks than are listed(see zip for list and flyers) but i know there's a descendents cover as well as a dinosaur jr. cover.pretty punk rockin' lively set.most art by billy.

GANKSTERS

This was part of a split with Girls U.S.A. back in Feb. of 92.Me ,Joel,Chipmunk,Ron and Tony are the participants.The t.v. provides background noise,(vocals?).A 2 song affair which is all it took to move on to the next project.As long as the inspiration lasted,I guess!The music is sloppily put together and someone was messing with the pitch control on track one.Only improved the song,I say.Not long,just long enough to drive you to madness,or the next peanut butter sandwich.You got ganked!Grafitti the pyramids!

HACKENSACK KILLERS

Nov.9,1991,live at Gramps' house of Cat Machine in the Joelsters room,is the date and location.Band is Me,Joel,Chipmunk,and Ron Bohn.Great songs of murder,killings,Ohio(tequila,sorta),VH,Dio,voodoo,and Cannibal Dope Fiends.I'm from new jersey,and always thought all killers should live in "hack and sack"!Joel takes a shower on tracks 8 and 9,but is back for track 10,the aforementioned,"Cannibal Dope Fiends".Sounds like a fantastic name for a new up and coming punk band!Very much fun here,like nachos and beer,goes down smooth,comes out pasty!

CHIPMUNK

MAGIC NOSE GOBLINS 1

we loved ren and stimpy,so we formed 2 bands called,"magic nose goblins",and distinguish them by calling them 1 or 2.

both are duos,this one is me and joel,in his room,at gramps's(cat machine house).we were supposed to be recording the 4th one fell swoop tape,but the night before chipmunk stole his mom's car,and wrecked it,all highed up. we went downtown,the next morning,where he worked for his mom,and he said,"my life is over",which of course wasn't true.so me and joel went back home and recorded this semi tribute to our fallen bandmate.the last track is funny as we give him a stern talking to.good lyrics,rockin' music,joel sings a few,i sing the rest,and it all turns out like crap,with a cherry on top!forget about the other bands using this name,we were the originals back in 1991.click here for the real magic nose goblins 1:http://www.mediafire.com/file/h4m1ynwkmzf/magic nose goblins 1.zip

ONE FELL SWOOP-live at the draft house 1/31/92-first live show ever!

me,joel and chipmunk,in our little alt-rock trio,me and chip on guitars,jorl on drums,except when he sings,me on drums,we all sing,mostly me.i wrote the lyrics and we cover,flamin'groovies,the fall,syd barrett,hendrix,stooges,sonic youth,led zeppelin,and black flag.kinda electric eels style,no bass,just guitars.we sound much different live,with a real drum kit,instead of our usual kit(see other one fell swoop post for details)and the flyer on the other post is for this show ,the flyer on this post is for a show a week later,black nerd opened for us(i'll post that later),and we had a big crowd of locals who were rather pissed at my intro to"red letter day"when i razz nirvana for their sell out video(smells like...)on mtv at the time,lots of folks walked out after i make my comments,oh well,they missed the rest of a hell of a good show!we aquired a residence as the house band at the draft house for some time after this.i was the one who got them to let us play and start a scene in our crappy little town.kinda busted open the floodgates for a million embryo alt rock bands and punks to play and hang out,before that downtown was just drunken bums hangin at the bar.lots more live and studio tapes to come.the first track is an improv,which we usually used to apply to a regular set list,we'd always do a few improv jams.a fine document of a fantastic band,stay tuned for more,for now click here:http://www.mediafire.com/file/jynzwdmawng/ONE FELL SWOOP-first show live 1-31-92-the draft house.zip
