Carbon 14 Wrestling Federation,with some great garage bands.Free with their zine,my fave cut is the cover of The Zeros ,"Wimp" ,by The Nomads.The Mono Men,and the SCOTS tracks rock my world as well,buy I could do without the weak Friggs cut.Oh well,to each ,his own.

CARBON 14 MAGAZINE PRESENTS:EAST VS. WEST

This is a single that came with a magazine,and has lots of strange music.Side A ,is East,and The Lee Ranaldo,William Hooker,Zeena Parkins,track is on the right path to weirdness.W.O.O.,is also kinda samply and strange.The B side is West,and Mike Keneally,busts out some kinda bluesy rave-up.The last song from Wayne Horvitz,is light,loungy,and very keyboardy.Sounds like an out-take from a Soft Cell album.Go figure.

MUSIC TO READ CARBON 14 BY-volume 1

another great music zine,carbon 14,with a swell comp of garage punk stylings with the likes of,blag dahlia,cocknoose,the humpers,dead moon,lord high fixers(covering the circle jerks),the dictators,the nomads(covering the zeros),and lots more.this came with issue #25,which was their 10th anniversary of publishing the zine.
