LARGE -7 inch single

Some power-poppy band from MA. Makes me think about if Motorhead decided they wanted to be The Shoes.Utilizing 50's/60's melodies and riffs, but bringing it up to date for the 90's. I believe Food sent me this from his discard pile, long ago.Thanks,pal.

THE BLASTERS - Blue Shadows (From the Streets Of Fire S/T)

Neo-50's style, 80's rock n' roll,an original by Dave Alvin, and no mention of them anywhere on the 7" sleeve(not on back either),when this tune is obviously better than the crappy top ten hit on the flip,or what I refer to as the B-side of this record! I did not include the Dan Hartman fartfest,as The Blasters deserve much better! At least the film had a redeeming quality,as Lee Ving of Fear, had a fairly major role, playing a biker gang member.

RUSTY DRAPER - Seventeen b/w Can't Live Without Them Anymore

More fine 50's rock n' roll, this time a tune about jailbait takes my vote! Seems kinda pervy, when you look at the guy!

THE DIAMONDS - Chick-lets (Don't Let Me Down) b/w High Sign

Remnants of doo-wop hangers-on,2 great songs from these guys. They went thru several line-up changes in their time, who cares? This sounds great!

DALE HAWKINS - Lonely Nights b/w Yea Yea (Class Cutter)

Side B is the choice for me.Great old 50's rock n' roll, with great vocals and humorous lyrics!

LOS MARAUDERS -You Make Me Cum In My Pants 7"

"Real 50's style rockabilly, not like Elvis",is how one member of this band describes their sound. This is their first single from 1992,on Teen Beat Records out of VA. The band is from Iowa City,Iowa.4 Great rockin' tunes, the singer is a wildman!Totally cool.

MISFITS-Led Zep Sound Check-1997

This is from a soundcheck, before a show, where they do 2 Led Zeppelin songs,"Earth Angel",(the 50's doo-wop song by the Penguins),and a rare Misfits cut,"In The Doorway",all with Michale Graves on vocals.Pretty rare, and weird hearing these guys do Zeppelin!Cool for what it is. Note the autographs i got from the guys, back in 96,when they played the Pyramids in Ft.Myers,FL.

THE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA BAND

i'd say this is rare, never heard it or seen it anywhere except my house, and it rules.a band plays along with percussion played by school kids on forks, knives, and spoons, quite a racket for the old days, and reminds me of "silverware sucks",by sockeye, in which the chorus says,"i don't like knives and spoons,i think they make you look like a goon, forks are cool but they suck".the music is like 50s-60s pre surf instrumentals.got lots more rare singles like this to post, lemme know how you like it,LEAVE ME A COMMENT IN COMMENT BOX BELOW.thanks,G O D.http://www.mediafire.com/file/qzmdawytyz5/THE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA BAND.zip
