Here is my second layout featuring 2Crafty Chipboard this month.

Everyone who know me knows how obsessed I am regarding Johnny Depp.

I really believe he's one of the best actors out there (and it doesn't hurt that he's so goodlooking LOL )

So enjoy my layout with lots of Johnny Depp 

Here I used the Fiddlestick panel on several places. Love cutting these panels!

I cut out the  circles chippies  and placed letters inside them

The barbed wire matched my page as a bit rough and tough

And of course I needed to show my love for Johnny Depp with the "elegant heart" on top of the photos

The background is made with Gesso, mist, watercolors and stamps

All the chippies has a layer with gesso and a bit purple mist here and there

Did some simple drawing on the page as well, hearts, circles  and lines

Giftbag - Creative Gym Challenge DT Mixed Media Place

Awesome fun challenge this month at Mixed Media Place! 
It's all about Coffee!!

I love coffee and drink a lot of it.
Well, I'm a bit old fashioned and drink only the "old" type, black coffee without any form of suger, milk or flavours.

Here is a giftbag I made for a friend who just turned 40.

My coffee here are the tags outside of the bag, they are soaked with instant coffee. In fact they were having a good long bath in coffee.

Metal, stencil, mica powder, Ecoline watercolor and chippies are used to decorate the bag.

The chippies are from 2Crafty Chipboard

Hope you got some inspiration and I would love to see some "coffee-products"!

Don't be afraid to let go - DT Mixed Media Place

You know that the only one you can depend on is yourself? At least if you want some changes in you life. So just let go – only you can do it!

Here is a new art journal spread made for Mixed Media Place. 




I have made a double spread in my new art journal and I have used some of my new Art Basics Gloss Gel mixed with some mica  through the dots and stripes  stencil.

It’s not so easy to see on the photos, but it really makes a great dimension on the page with the gloss gel!

My background is this time made with Distress Stains in different “bluish” colors. 

And also some Distress paint and Ecoline watercolor – in the circles.

The color combo really makes me happy!

Today I have a layout to show, featuring 2Crafty Chipboard

Here is our two girls with lots of shoppingbags after a long day with shopping. (don't know who were the most exhausted, they or us LOL)

Found the perfect title for this one.

In fact, 2Crafty Chipboards has titles for every occation so it's not hard to find something suitable.

Loved this large chippie and placed it partly under the photo in layers.

These small words from the different kits are awesome as "embellishments"

My chippies this time is colored with ink pad and some splashes with gesso and white watercolor

Stamps and stencils on the background (as usual from me) making a fun background

Free - Art Journal for Mixed Media Place

Been a while since I've blogged now
Not because I don't create - I create every day - but less time on the computer.

Anyway, here is an art journal spread for Mixed Media Place

A rather clean and easy page, but with an important message –  free! Many ways to interpret this word but for me this page is about beeing free to create whatever I want.

When I received the package with Finnabair/Prima Stamps “don’t forget to fly” I knew exactly what to do, using the beautiful butterflies. I stamped the butterflies rather random with different amount of ink, just to get some different look.

The butterflies are colored with Ecoline watercolors and Finnabairs amazing brushes. 

I also have a little tag to show you.
You only need a tag, some stamps, stencils and colors to make a beautiful tag:
