Altered box DT Art Anthology

Today I have an altered box to show you, using lots and lots of gorgeous products by Art Anthology

I have filled this box with some chocolate and plan to give it to our beautiful 90 years old neighbour for Christmas.

Decorated box - DT 7Dots Studio

Here is another project featuring 7Dots Studio.

This time I used an empty box, previously filled with journaling cards.

First I used some of the papers from Wonderland collection, inside and outside the box.

Then I made a panel with the wonderful Wavy Ocean pattern paper from 9th Wave Collection.
I just love that paper!

Made some tags with some left-overs from the above collections.

And maybe I'll put some candy in the box as well and use as a small gift for a friend.

I also used some gorgeous chipboard by UmWowStudio on the box:

Altered box - DT Scraps of Darkness

I had really fun altering this box (previously a box for Whiskey). I used lots of stuff from the August-kit "Rustic" by Scraps of Darkness.

Here is the box before I started and also the papers I used , Kaisercraft Base Coat II collection

First I covered the box whith Gesso and also used distress ink on the edges.

Then I started to decorate the box, on all sides top+bottom (I plan to decorate the top a bit more)
Used the stencil included in the kit with Shimmerz TextureZ (included in a previous kit) random places on the background.
I also added inks and paints on the lace.

My black Gelato is my best friend and here I've used it on the apple chipboards included in the kt: (also used it several other places on the box, where you see black - it's the black Gelato ♥ )

Today is my day presenting some of my projects for 7Dots Studio

 

I still can't believe I'm so lucky to be on this amazing team. Everyone of the team members are uniqe and make so much awesome projects!

I'm totally in love with their designs and it's so fun to work with. From the rough and "wild" designs to the most soft and delicious.

So here are some of my projects for this month:

First I would like to share an art journal. I just love the ladies on the Collage-sheet and on this journal I knew I had to make something with some of them. So I made a double page with a group of ladies on one and a single on the other. It was not a personal page, I don't feel alone - quite opposite, I have so many lovely friends among me, specially in the crafting society. There is a lot of medium on these pages, gesso, inks, distress stains, paste etc. Love using medium with stencils.

The next is a layout with our cat "Bamse"
Bamse is our 5 (or is it 6) years old cat. We love and adore him all of us.
He is rather shy and not the cuddling type. But he is one of the family and sometimes he is "lucky" to get some of the leftovers.
Like on this photo, licking empty the youghurt-box.
I've planned to make a layout of this photo for so long but hadn't had an idea on how to do it.
Not until I got some of the 7Dots papers, one of them just "shouted" - "do the Bamse with youghurt layout"! Lots of different mediums on thes layout as well, paste, gel, stencils etc.

And the last thing I'll share with you today is a box.

My youngest daughter found an empty box in my crafting-room (previously filled with Prima flowers) and asked me if I could decorate this for her.
She wanted to keep some small treasures in that box. Of course I would , a gift for my daughter and creating with 7Dots at the same time - just perfect match!

I first gessoed the box and glued on the paper, both on the top and around the box. Scraped the edges and used black ink.

Boks med aluminiumstape

En boks (som tidligere inneholdt drops) dekorert med aluminiumstape. Brukt India Ink og messingmaling.

Har dekorert en boks med ark fra Vibeke Spigseth - Poppydesign.

Denne har det vært slike Mozart-kuler i.

Bok

For lenge siden så jeg en flott bok som Asil hadde laget. Denne har jeg lagret i "minnet" mitt og tenkt jeg skulle lage noe lignende selv.

Så her om dagen gikk jeg ned i kjelleren og plukket frem noen gamle bøker og satte igang med å skjære. Litt av en jobb å skjære gjennom mange ark og perm og ikke minst, lime dem sammen.
Jeg valgte å ikke lime permene sammen med arkene, men ha dem "åpne".

Nok en gang har jeg brukt det nydelige bildet av Karianne (og tror ikke det er siste gang jeg bruker det heller)

Grunnet hele boken med sort Gesso. Gikk så over med gullmaling. både på kanter og permer. Flekket litt med blanding av sort maling og gull her og der også.

Har brukt litt gamle boksider og stort sett ark fra Graphic45 her. Klippet ut detaljer og limt på.
Hvite blomster fikk nytt uttrykk ved hjelp av gull og sort, det samme med alt metallet som er brukt. Noe er rustede skiver som jeg har "fikset" selv, annet er smykkedeler (øredobber) og har også brukt en slik "ballchain". Et rosa bånd er ikke lenger rosa :D
Har også brukt litt Distress Stain her og der.
Den lille fuglen (chipboard) har fått et øye av ballchain.
