SC655, My Everything

 Hello there!
Well, I am just a little bit sad!  This is my very last card made as one of the Splitcoaststampers.com Sketch Challenge Team!  :(
I have enjoyed the last few months so much!
So thankful for the opportunity!

My card for SC655 was made with the Art Impressions set called Love Birds!  I just think these two are perfect in every way!  I colored them with copics markers and cut them out, making them the focal point of a tag for the panel that hangs off the top of the card base.  I doodled the edges with a Micron pen and added a bit of SU! ribbon at the top. The designer paper is old SU! also.  The sentiment is cut out with an ODBD Pennant Flag die.

Come play along with today's sketch!  It's a fun one!

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your day!

Aloha! Blue

I used the new Aloha! stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs.  There is a matching Bird of Paradise die for this image, which is great!  I colored with copics and then cut it out.  The papers are part of the Boho Bolds Collection.  I also used ODBD Circles, Pierced Rectangles, Beautiful Borders and Bitty Borders.  I finished the card with ribbon, sequins and Wink of Stella painted on the flower.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!

May the Good Lord Bless You

Happy Sketch Challenge Day!  Today's Sketch Challenge #653 at SCS is a fun one!  For this card I used a few new goodies from ODBD.  The sentiment is from Bon Voyage.  I made a frame with Double Stitched Rectangles,  The Boho Bolds paper in the background was cut with one of the Leafy Edged Borders to make the wavy layers in the sketch.  I did flip the waves in the opposite position.  My three elements are the new Hibiscus and Frangipani flowers.  They are surrounded by Tropical Leaves and Ferns.

Thanks for coming by to visit!

Sketch Challenge #650, Mr. & Mrs.

Happy Wednesday!

This is for this week's SC650 at Splitcoast.  I added the bottom right partial doily to give a little balance to my card.  This lovely image and the sentiment are from the Long Lasting Love set from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I colored the cake with copics and fussy cut.  I made the frame with Pierced Rectangles.  The partial doilies and the circle under the frame and cake are both cut with the Doily dies.  The sentiment is cut out with a Pennant Flag and the designer paper is from the Wedding Wishes Collection.  A little sponging and a pretty bow completes the card.

SC648, Happy Wedding Day

Thank you for stopping by!

For the sketch today, I have used new goodies from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I replaced the circle with this wonderful topiary from the set called Happy Wedding Day, which has a coordinating Heart Topiary Die!  Those little birds are sooo cute! The images were all colored with copics before cutting out. Then I cut out three panels from the new Wedding Wishes Paper with Pierced Rectangles.  I added a pretty bow.  I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a Pennant Flag.  The final touch was adding highlights on the topiary with gold Wink of Stella.

That's it!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

SC646, Hugs!

Hello!

This week's sketch at Splitcoast, SC646, reminds me of a pocket design for a tag,
so that is what I created.

Here is the card with the tag tucked down inside the pocket:

The papers are all from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose pack.  I added trims of white card stock, one along the side that is punched with an old scalloped punch.  I also added lots of Martha Stewart Butterflies and Hydrangea blooms.  Then I added pearls.

Here is a close up of the tag:

The little image is from Penny Black Hugs! and is colored with copics.  I used a corner rounder and a hole punch on the tag.  The little flower is punched with and old SU! punch.  I added seam binding for the tag pull.

And that's it!  Come join us for this fun sketch challenge!
Have a wonderful day!

Thank a Bus Driver!

Good morning!

I have another card featuring one of the May Releases from Our Daily Bread Designs.  This release was all about appreciation for our teachers and counselors and bus drivers! School bus drivers have so much responsibility.  We rely on them to get our precious children and grandchildren to and from school safely, each and every day of the school year!  Let's not forget to thank these people in our lives!

For this card I used the set called School Bus Driver.  I colored the image with copics and fussy cut to pop up over the Rectangle and Pierced Rectangles.  The designer paper is from the Cozy Quilt Collection.  And then I just added the little Sparkling Stars and the Pennant Row banner to complete the card!

I am sharing this at ODBDSLC286 and CAS430.

Thanks so much for looking!
Have a wonderful day!

SC645, You Are Appreciated!

Hello!

This is for this week's Sketch Challenge #645!  The image is from the new ODBD set called Class Act.  I colored with copics and then fussy cut the image.  I adhered it to the Notebook Paper and Clipboard. I cut the Notebook Paper, (which is a new Stamp/Die Duo) out three times and curled one corner.   I don't know about you, but my notebook paper back in the day was always curled like this!  haha!  The Clipboard is not exactly ATC size but it is very close, which is why I used it for this sketch.  I added paper clips, which are included in the Clipboard dies, along three sides and a ribbon on the top of the clipboard.  The Clipboard is mounted onto a panel cut with the largest Snowflake Sky dies.  I stamped the top part of the image again and cut out just the apple to pop it up over the original image.  And that's it!  Have a wonderful day and I'll be back again soon!  YOU are appreciated!

Sketch Challenge 643, Thanks!

Hello!  Hope you are having a great week!

This card is for this week's sketch at Splitcoast.  The little flower bouquet is from ODBD You Bless Me So Stamp/Die Duo.  I cut it out with an ODBD Pierced Circle and matted it with an ODBD Scalloped Circle.  The panel was done with several pieces of paper, including designer papers from the ODBD Cozy Quilt and Old Glory Paper Packs.  I used ODBD Pierced Rectangles and an exact-o knife to create the panel.  Finally, I added the ODBD Thanks and a tiny bow that was dyed with a copic marker to match the flowers!

That's it!  See you again soon!

Sketch Challenge 642, Many Thanks

 Happy Wednesday!

This week's Sketch Challenge at Splitcoast has lots of fun layers!  I chose to keep the layers simple.  I used the gorgeous ODBD Whimsical Wildflowers Paper Collection paired with matching solid purple card stock to create the layers.  I made the tag with ODBD Tag Trio.  The sentiment is from ODBD Many Thanks and is stamped onto an ODBD Double Stitched Pennant Flag.  One of the designer paper layers is cut with an ODBD Pierced Square.  I added a bit of seam binding to the tag to complete the card!  Really easy card!

Heartfelt Sympathy

 Happy Saturday y'all!

I made this card today using the Inspiration Challenge of Plaster Art at SCS.  I also combined this challenge with a Dare to Get Dirty Challenge!  Don't know what that is about?  You have to be a SCS Fan Club member to play!  Click HERE to read about it!

The With Sympathy stamp/die duo is new from ODBD this month.  I used the Log Cabin Quilt Die to cut out the stamped sentiment.  I cut out a stencil with the Boho Background die and used that to add texture paste for my background.  Then I cut out Bitty Blossoms, Pretty Posies, and a Fancy Foliage.  I used a stylus on the flowers and added Pan Pastels to them.  I attached everything together and then made a frame with Pierced Rectangles.

Here are the ODBD supplies I used today:
