A Sparkly Wedding Program-DIY

Hello! Hope you are having a great day!

I designed a very simple DIY wedding program to share with you today using gorgeous papers from Paper and More!  I used MS Word to create the program.  I started by adding three text boxes into a landscape orientation to get the most from one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of Solid Bright White Card Stock #80.  I typed in all of the information into the first box and played with different fonts to get the look I wanted.  Then I just copied and pasted it into the other two text boxes.  It looks something like this in your word program:

I didn't measure the text boxes.  I just eye-balled it and got it close enough.  It would be quite easy to print lots of these for your wedding.

I cut out one to use for my project today, leaving a tiny border all the way around.  I adhered this layer to a layer of Rose Pink Metallic Paper #81 which was cut a little bit larger than the printed program.  And then this was adhered to a layer of Glitter Card Stock Silver!  I love that glitter paper!

 Another look:

Well, that is it!  Thanks so much for visiting with me today!

Faith Hope and Love

Hi there!
I wanted to share an easy favor idea for
a wedding, a shower, or a party!

I gathered my supplies, including chocolate bars!

The papers I used are from PaperandMore:
This shimmery pink is so gorgeous!
 I cut three panels 5 1/4 x 7.
Or you can use the paper wrapper as a guide for your measurements.

I used a strong adhesive to glue the paper around the candy bar.  You don't want them falling apart before your guests can enjoy them!

Next I adhered pretty satin ribbon,
bringing the ends together on the top of the bar.

The ends will be hidden behind the sentiment.  Here I have used an ODBD sentiment from Love Scriptures and cut it out with a Spellbinders die.

Another option would be to adhere a pretty embellishment!
This beautiful butterfly is from the new ODBD Fancy Fritillary die set!

One more look!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

An Easy DIY Wedding Invitation

Here is an easy DIY invitation idea for weddings.  The gorgeous, quality papers and envelopes from PaperAndMore.com are the perfect papers and envies for this project!

I used the following paperandmore.com products:

I printed the invitation onto the White Canvas Card Stock 80# and cut it to fit inside the Chocolate Brown Solid Backing Card.  I used a small hole punch to punch through the invitation, using the holes on the backing card as a guide for hole placement.  (At the time I took this photo, I had not yet decided to have an envelope liner as seen in the top photo.)

I added the pretty ribbon and then decided I needed a liner in the A-7 Chocolate Brown Solid Envelope!  So I used the envelope as a guide to decide where to cut for the liner.  I also cut slight angles out of one end of the liner to match the envelope flap.  After getting this first one figured out and measured, it would be a breeze to then make mass quantities of this invitation.

You can see how I just tucked the Brown Spring Bloom on Classic White Solid paper inside and added a couple of strips of adhesive to adhere it to the flap. Here is the finished project again:

Thank you for joining me for this quick and easy tutorial!
Have a wonderful day!

Your Special Day

Hello!
Here is a card that can be used for several special occasions.  Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings, etc.

I used gorgeous papers from paperandmore.com

I used a stamp set from North Coast Creations called Floral Sentiments 6.  I colored the image with copic markers and cut the image and the mat out with Spellbinders A-2 dies.  The vellum layer is embossed with a die from the ODBD Flourished Star Pattern set.  It is hard to see in the photo but the pink layer under the vellum is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  This paper takes embossing so beautifully!  I added a pretty seam binding bow to complete the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

For Each Other

Hi there!

I combined three gorgeous papers from PaperandMore.com
to create this wedding card!

The scripture is from an ODBD set called Love Scriptures and is stamped on the Bright White Card Stock.  The base card is also made from the Bright White Card Stock.  I used a Spellbinders Oval to cut it out.  I also used Spellbinders A-2 Floral Ribbon Threader dies to cut out the layers from the Solid Tiffany Blue and Classic White Laid Card Stocks.  Using negative pieces of the Tiffany Blue Card Stock I punched three butterflies with a Martha Stewart Butterfly punch.  I added a pretty seam binding bow and tiny pearls to complete the card.
Thanks so much for looking!  Have a wonderful day!

Wedding or Special Anniversary Card

Hello!
Hope you are having a great day!

I have an elegant wedding or anniversary card to share with you today that I made with papers from paperandmore.com!

On a base card made with Classic White Premium Heavy Card Stock 100#, I attached a layer of  Black Brocade on Classic White Solid 100# with foam tape.  This beautiful paper has been embossed with Spellbinders A-2 Matting Basics and Radiant Rectangles dies.

I stamped the scripture from Our Daily Bread designs Scripture Collection #10 onto a piece of Classic White Solid Card Stock 165# with Memento Black ink.  I cut it out with another die from the Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles dies.  This card stock is rather thick so I did need to run it through my cutting machine several times using a shim.  But the result is beautiful!  I added a beautiful blue organdy bow to complete the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  See you again soon!

Wedding Day Fan

Hello!
Here is an easy idea for your wedding, using the beautiful Solid Tiffany Blue Card Stock 100# from paperandmore.com!  The wedding season is almost upon us and so many are planning outdoor weddings. You want your guests to be as comfortable as possible.  Why not a fan?

First I printed out a little announcement/thank you onto a sheet of Solid Tiffany Blue Card Stock 100#.  Using Spellbinders Labels 29, I cut out the printed information and a heavy piece of chipboard that is white on one side.  I used Scor-Tape to adhere the two pieces together.  I glued the fan handle to the back with a strong adhesive.  When I took the photo above, I had planned to tie lace on the handle.  However, I changed my mind and used seam binding instead.
I like it better!

What do you think?  This is something that is easy to do in mass quantities, it wouldn't be very expensive, and your guests will have something to keep as a reminder of your special day!
Thanks for taking a look!  Have a wonderful day!

Exciting News and A Frozen Celebration!

Hello!  Hope you are having an awesome day!  I am excited to share my first project as a member of the Paper and More Design Team!  Paper and More.com is a great place to buy all of your DIY paper needs for parties, showers and weddings!

My first projects are for a little girl's birthday party theme of Frozen!

To get started, I created my invitation in MS Word, printing it out onto Bright White Heavy Card Stock 80#.  I trimmed it to fit inside the beautiful Tiffany Solid Blue Solid Square 6 1/4" Petal Card.  (Hint: I googled the rgb codes for Tiffany Blue so that I could get a close match printed out for some of the invitation wording. The color looks a little off in some photos however.)  Also from the Bright White Heavy Card Stock 80# and from Tiffany Blue Heavy Card Stock 100#, I cut out several shapes from Our Daily Bread designs dies.  The stamped sentiment is from an Our Daily Bread designs set called Special Girl.  I gathered all of my pieces together, along with snips of ribbon and lace, a toothpick and a white lollipop stick.  Oh, a strand of blue pearls, and silver elastic cording too!

I adhered the printed invitation and then popped up the snowflakes with foam tape.  I glued a silver bow onto the double snowflake for a little dazzle.  You could easily add sparkle with glitter or glitter glue as well.

It would be very hard to have a princess party without a magic wand! The star/snowflake combo is taped to the lollipop stick. You could use a straw for this project as well.

And here is a cute little cupcake topper!  You can see how the toothpick slides up in between the two flowers that are glued together.

One more view of all three projects.  The sky is the limit as to what you can create for your princess party!  Remember, if hosting a party for a very young child, be sure to supervise them at all times with smaller or pointy pieces.

Thank you for visiting with me today!  I appreciate it so much!
