I SPY Rebecca Minkoff!

My weekly trip to TJ Maxx helped me spot an awesome find.  Once in awhile TJ Maxx and Marshalls would have designer handbags such as Coach, Michael Kors, and DKNY, however I've never seen one with this brand.

Maybe since this TJ Maxx had just open, newer items were stocked, but I'm not sure.  I guess its always a hit and miss at these stores.

I actually found a few Rebecca Minkoff bags at this store and though still very expensive ($100+) it was still a bargain steal from the original price.  I didn't buy it, because my wallet would cry, but thought maybe I'll share a photo so that some of you lucky ladies can find some too.

I don't have the information of the type of bag and the price.  I was in a hurry (well actually the Mr.) so I took a quick picture and left.  Its definitely cute statement bag, super bright pink, perfect for any girl out there.  Now if it was like in black or a neutral color, I may have had second thoughts about getting it, but maybe next time.

Finally H&M! Online Shopping

If you haven't already heard or read about it, after a long wait, H&M finally opens up an online store for many of us that cannot get to one locally.

 I'm grateful that H&M has opened up 3 stores in my area, however before there was any, I couldn't go anywhere near to find an H&M.  The nearest one was 4 hours away, which is a no go for me, it was just too far.  I was also one who wondered why H&M never had an online store, which would be so convenient for me especially since its so popular. Now the wait is over for the many who has longed to shop at H&M.

After browsing some, I did notice that the website still doesn't have as much items as a normal online shop would have.  I imagine the company is still adding products to the site and will have more to come.  Can't wait for more to come because I'm definitely in the mood for shopping.

Sam Edelman "Gigi" Haul

Quick haul post for the blog! Too many things been happening. New job, New baby, New everything!

Summer's here so I decided to get myself a new pair of sandals.  I've been eyeing Sam Edelman sandals for awhile now but I couldn't justify paying the prices for sandals.  Living here in Florida, sandals are our primary shoes that we were since its practically summer year round.  So sandals are a necessity in my book.

I finally found a Sam Edelman "GiGi" sandal that I've been wanting especially in black which seems to always be out of stock.  Super cute, but not as quite comfortable as I would like, but oh well as long as it works for me.

The best part was that I got it about 40% off retail at TJ Maxx which definitely made my day.  I've only seen Sam Edelman shoes maybe twice before so I know it doesn't pass through these stores often.  It was a "I better get it before its gone" moment for me! Happy haul for me!

Time for a new bag??

My purse that I've been using is pretty old and worn out.  So I've been meaning to get a new bag for some time now.  I just haven't found any that I liked or may work out for me.

I like bigger bags like totes and shoulder bags. I tend to carry lots of stuff as well especially with a new baby, a bigger bag will definitely help out instead of carrying a diaper bag and my purse. I don't seem as picky when shopping for purses, but somehow I never end up with one I really like.  It takes me so much time to pick one out that I just quit. Looking for the right length, size, and material is pretty much what I really look for.

So today while I was browsing on Ebay, I decided to look up some purses on the site.  Surprisingly, I did find a few non brand bags that I kind of liked and would probably buy.  They are pretty cheap too which is a plus.  The only downside would be that I can't see them in person so I can't try them on and can't feel the material.

Which one do you think I should get? I really like the last one, however not in black but in the gray color which is not available.  I'm a little hesitant if I should get one on Ebay like I said earlier about not seeing it in person.  The prices are pretty cheap all under $20, which is good in my wallet.  I would love to have all those high end bags as well, but my wallet is totally not having it at the moment, so none of those at the moment.

I'll definitely keep an eye out again for more bags I may like and share them with you. Let me know if you have a bagI may like. Share!

Jewelmint Febuary Picks

Having been only 4th day of the month, many items are already sold out or close to being sold out.  That being said, there is probably some very good items in this month's showroom.  This month's showroom showcased lots of soft golds and pinks, however a few striking colors also made up the rest of the color palette such as a few blues and greens.

Weekend Finds and Almost Buys!

Its been a long while since I've been on here! I basically disappeared for some time.  Alot of things have been happening these last two months and I've been busier than ever before.  Now when I come home from work, I just want to cook, eat, rest, and go to sleep.  I have yet to find more motivation to do anything.

The man and I have also moved into our new home and with that, it took a huge toll on us.  We are still in the process of moving stuff around and unpacking which will never end from the way I see it, eventually it will get done.  I haven't even set up my office for blogging and pictures, so it was an excuse for me to stay away! Hopefully I can get things settled and come back to blogging.  I definitely need to finish up a few posts I meant to have earlier in the month ready for everyone plus a few new ones.

Anyways, here are some of the quick items I found this weekend at my local shopping spots. When I was suppose to look for house items, I found these instead hehe!

This looked cool at first, perfect for papers or my makeup, but the drawers were hard to pull out and put back in. Not sturdy for clumsy me.

Some organizational stuff that I passed for now.

Casual Pretty to me is more on the casual part but with a some prettinest here and there.  I love the added accessories in the pictures above, it really compliments the outfit and give it more of a prettier look than just the jeans and shirt kind of outfit. 
I'm definitely a casual dressing girl. I love to be comfortable and chill but still look like I attempted to put an outfit together.  Sandals and flats are my faves and love all the handbags because they are mid size and still goes with the outfits.  Who can go wrong with jeans? White, dark washed, bleached, as long as they are jeans, I'm cool with it.

Dreaming of Closets

Lately I've been pretty busy with getting things ready for the home Mr H. and I will hopefully be getting soon.  One main aspect of a house I would consider is the Master Closet.  I currently have a small closet, not a walkin, full of items that are over flowing.  I needed a walkin closet, which the house we like does have and its a pretty good size.

I've done a bit of picture research of what items I would love to have in my closet.  If only I had a closet the size of a bedroom, I could totally do whatever I wanted, however I don't, so I can only dream of the most amazing closets I will never have.

This will probably the closest I get to dream closet.

I actually like the last picture design because it looks just about the right size for the walkin closet in the house and it has many different aspect that I need for all my clothing and accessories.  Who wouldn't want a closet like Mariah Carey or Kimora Lee, I sure would love one, but then again I don't have that many items and I would not know how to organize everything. I know that I definitely want space for shoes, dresses, drawers, clothing accessories, and more space. Still looking at different alternatives and seeing what will be most logical and easiest for everyday life.

Weekend Finds: Dupe for Designer?

Like always I'm always perusing my Favorites stores looking for great buys and deals.  Many times I walk out with nothing, but I know that usually I'll see a good deal that is worth sharing with others or keep in mind for a later time.

Who doesn't like Designer items? I sure do but many times I can't afford them, so I look for affordable items that could pass for a designer item just not with the designer label. So again at Marshalls I happen to notice a few pairs of shoes with crazy designs and made me think twice about.

At just around $30, you can get a designer pair of shoes from Steve Madden that could pass for an even more expensive designer brand Missoni.  The similar patterns and designs are pretty similiar with their own styles.  The shoes I found are definitely an awesome deal for those who are looking for Designer Dupes.

So I was browsing my phone the other day in ShopKicks and found this ad. 

I thought it was the Cutest and Coolest thing ever!

Who would have thought to create something like this?  A Shoe Scotch Tape Dispenser and not only that its a shoe, its a Stiletto Shoe.  Its amazing how people can be so created. I can definitely see this on any fashionista's desk.  I have yet to see it at the store, but I may want to check that out soon!

It would be super Crazy if it came in like pink leopard color, neon colors, animal prints, etc.  That would be Awesome!  Plus for $8.99 that's a pretty good value!  I'm guessing Office Depot carries this, but I could be wrong, its best to look around and see if your office supplies stores carry them. I looked online to find some and Office Max also carries them as well.

Fashion Trend 2012

So according to Lucky Magazine article on Yahoo Shopping, there is about 20 new Fashion Trends that will be out this Spring.  I haven't seen much buzz about some them, maybe I'm just not paying to much attention cause its about Spring/Summer here year round.

The blog lists everything from belts, shoes, to clothes.  Some of the trends I love and some I'll have to get accustomed to.  But there is a few that I love and looking forward to getting this Spring or maybe even now.
