Tarjeta de 30 Cumpleaños para mi Cuñado

Hola!
Dentro de poco es el 30º cumpleaños del novio de mi hermana, y me pidió una tarjeta y un álbum de fotos.
Esta es la tarjeta que hice. Podéis ver el álbum pinchando aquí.
Quería probar a jugar con letras en negativo. Esto es lo que ha salido:

Marco decorado

Hace un tiempo os comenté que estaba en una etapa de cambios.

Entre otros, he cambiado de trabajo. Bueno, uno de ellos. Ahora también estoy dando talleres de scrap.

El otro día, me pidieron que montase un taller para niños de entre 6 y 8 años y, después de mucho pensar, se me ocurrió hacer un layout como el que suele aparecer en las contraportadas de las colecciones de papeles que compramos. Pero en la tienda les pareció poco, así que hicimos lo mismo, pero montado sobre un marco.

La verdad es que estoy muy contento. Cuando las madres vinieron, se fueron muy sorprendidas de que sus hijas hubiesen hecho eso.

Siento la calidad de las fotos últimamente. Prometo que mejoraré un poco.

Esto es lo que hicimos:

Some weeks ago I told you I was changing some things in my life.

One of them is my job. Well, one of them. Now I'm also teaching scrap.

Last week, I was asked to prepare a scrap class for children between 6 and 8 years old and, after thinking a lot, the idea of preparing a layout like the ones we see in the back of the collections of paper we buy came up. But the people of the shop thought it wasn't enough, so we dedided to do the same mounted on a frame.

I'm really happy. When the mothers came, they were very surprised about what their daughters made.

I'm sorry about the quality of the pictures. I promse I'll Improve it.

This is what we made:

Pintamos el fondo con tintas en spray, recortamos algunos rectángulos de papel y aplicamos algunas decoraciones ya hechas (botones y flores  precortadas) y recortamos algunos banderines con la big shot.

Algo sencillo, pero muy resultón.

We painted the background with spray inks, cut some paper rectangles and applied some embelishments already made (buttons and pre-cut flowers) and cut some flags with the big shot.

Something simple, but very atttractive.

Signature Book for Boy

Hola!
Un nuevo libro de comunión.
De este solo voy a comentar que para el tema principal me inspiré en el cielo y cometas, en azules, verdes y marrones.
Me gusta la cometa que hice para la portada y la página con el bolsillo de nubes y unos globos flotando.
Utilicé principalmente papeles de la colección Lime Twist de My Mind's Eye, pero colé un par de papeles de otras colecciones que me pareció que le iban bien. El papel azul con banderines de aspecto envejecido lo tenia infravalorado, pero cuando lo usé aquí, me encantó! Y enseguida me fui a comprarle a Iva, de Scrap i Pebre, los que le quedaban. Lástima que ya solo le quedaban dos. Así que pronto los volveréis a ver en algún otro proyecto.
Faltan algunas páginas, pero es que las fotos han salido muy mal.

A new communion book.
I'll only mention that for this book I was inspired by the sky and kites, in blue, green and brown.
I like the kite I made for the cover and the page with the cloudy pocket with floating ballons.
I mainly used papers from the collection Lime Twist, from My Mind's Eye, but I added a pair of papers from other collections that I thought they combined well. I underestimated the vintage style blue paper with flags, but when I used it here, I really loved it! And I immediatly went to Iva's shop, Scrap i Pebre, to buy the remaining ones. Sadly, there were only two papers left. So you will see them soon in another project.
There are some pages missing, but the quality of the pictures is very poor.

Otro Libro de Firmas de Comunión para Chico

Hola de nuevo! Cuanto tiempo!
Lo se. No estoy subiendo muchas fotos, pero no he parado estos días. El curso se acaba y he ido loco preparando material para los alumnos, en el camping estamos empezando la temporada y no paro tampoco, y las malditas comuniones me han dado más trabajo del que me esperaba. He hecho un montón de libros de firmas. No he hecho fotos de todos porque algunos los entregué nada más acabarlos y se me olvidó hacérselas, pero en breve subo algunas fotos para que veáis algunos de los trabajillos que he hecho.
Hay un par de libros que me los pidieron de ya para ya, así que no me pude explayar mucho con ellos, pero bueno, de todo se aprende.
Este libro es tamaño A4 y era para el hijo de una compañera de trabajo. Es un niño muy divertido, así que le puse bastantes colores. Esta todo hecho con azules, verdes, naranjas, amarillos y marrones.
En este libro empecé a experimentar con plantillas de estarcido. Me gusta. Me gusta mucho. Te diviertes, guarreas, y decoras grandes superficies en nada de tiempo.

Hi again! Long time no see!
I know. I'm not updating the blog, but I've been rushing these days. The school year is finishing and I run like a fool preparing exercices for my students, we are starting the season in the camping site and the damn communions gave me much more work than expected. I made a lot of signature books. I couldn't take pictures of all of them because I had to deliver some of them just after finishing them and I forgot taking pics, but I'll upload some in the following days so you can see what I've been doing.
They asked me to do some books for the day after, so I couldn't play as much as I wanted with them, but I learned something from all of the books.
This book is A4 size and it was for a workmate's son. He's a very happy boy, so I put a lot of colours. It's made in blues, greens, oranges, yellows and browns.
In this book I started experimenting with stencils. I like it. I like it a lot. You have fun, get dirty, and decorate large areas in no time.

Libro de Firmas de Comunión para Chico

Y aquí os dejo otro libro de firmas que esta vez he hecho para un chico. Tiene la mitad del tamaño del anterior (este tiene tamaño A5). El otro me gusta mucho, pero todavía se me hace difícil trabajar en superficies tan grandes. Este, al ser más pequeño, me ha resultado mucho más fácil de decorar y más económico.
El troquel del globo aerostático es una de mis adquisiciones de la feria creativa Valencia. Es una pasada, pero cuesta horrores de pegar!!! ¿Tenéis algún truco para pegar piezas pequeñas? Os agradecería muchísimo cualquier consejo.
En unos días os cuelgo más. Me han pedido otros 2 libros de firmas y los quieren ya, así que supongo que serán muy parecidos. Pero bueno, es una forma de seguir practicando, ¿no?


And here you are another signature book. This time is for a boy. It's half size (A5 size). I like my last one a lot, but I still find it very difficult to work on so large areas. This one is smaller, so I found it much easier to decorate. And it's cheaper, too.
The Ballon Die is one of my last purchases in the creativa Valencia fair. It's awesome, but it's awfully hard to attach with glue!!! Do you have any tricks to glue small pieces? Any suggestions welcome.
In a few days I'll post more. They asked me to make 2 more signature books, and they want them now, so I guess the books will be very similar. But that's a way to keep practising, don't you think?
