FS114 Soft Summer

Happy Easter you all!!!

Hope you get to enjoy this wonderful day with friends and family?!?

I made this card for the FS114 - Inge. Her gallery is filled with fun and beautiful cards. I chose to case this one.

I changed the layout to the TECC62 (very similar layouts). I used a different Set - Soft Summer from the new Occasions Mini Catalog. I also changed the colors - Textured Apricot Appeal, White and Chocolate Chip. The DP is from the Simply Scrappin' Kit - Special Delivery Girl.

I added some piercing around the card. The image itself was inked in Chocolate Chip. The inside of the flower was colored with Groovy Guava using a Blender Pen. I also gave it some sparkle with the Candle Light Shimmerz. At last I added the Kaiser Chocolate Pearls I bought at Stamper's Dream.

If you have some time to stamp check out my post below - click right HERE!!!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great Easter!!!

Another idea....plus my SU Swap cards....

Happy Monday everyone!!!

Hope you all had a great weekend???Mine are always way tooooo short - LOL!!! The Ledlow girls went to the *beautician* and got our hair done...., did some cleaning, went to church, lunch and boom it's Monday...!!!

I think I'm gonna take it easy this week since my girls are on *Spring Break*!!! But who knows - I might do some more stampin' if my girls are not demanding my 24/7 entertainment...LOL!!!

Anyway - I want to share some more ideas with you....I really liked how my *Hair Clips* turned out the other day...and so did my little Miriam. Click here to view the project if you missed it!!!

BTW - thank you for all the sweet comments you all left me on Mimi's photo :) I love that little bugger so much - he,he,he!!! I really enjoy the time we get to spent together...I was lucky enough to stay home with all of my girls and give them all lots of one on one time!!!

Just in case you have two left hands like me when it comes to crocheting....here is another cute way to make some different *Hair Clips* using some of your SU stash of flowers....I basically did the same steps on these clips as the ones in my tutorial. The only thing different are the flowers from the *Flower Fusion Accents & Elements I and II* and I mixed and matched them around with different brads inside. I really like how the new *Corduroy Brads* look with the felt flowers :)

I hope you like these clips too??? ~TFL~

Next, I'm showing you my *Swap Cards* I made for the GSG Group last month using a new Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I used the new *Soft Summer* Set . Of course the rest had to be all SU items as well....the colors are - Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. The Ribbon is from the SAB Ribbon Bundle - Certainly Celery Poly-Twill. I also used the Eyelet Border Punch.

I think this is my favorite Set out of the new Occasions Catalog....I know I'll be using it a lot....click here to view other card I made with this awesome Set!!!

Thank you for stopping by!!! See you tomorrow for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge....guess who is challenging you :)???

OCC Challenge, IC171 Thanks so much...

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

Today's OCC Challenge is brought to you by Kim again. She has cooked up a fun one - a Limited Supply Challenge!!!

The limitations on your card/project are - maximum of 3 layers, 1 main image and only 1 type of embellishment!!! For all the Samples and more info please visit the OCC Blog!!!

If this image doesn't look familiar to you, well it is a new one called *Soft Summer*. This new Set will be featured in the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog (available April 01st)!!!

I had the pleasure of playing with this Set when I went to the Orlando Regional Seminar back in January!!! Here is the card we made at the Seminar with the other image that comes in this Set!!!

For this card I used the colors - White, Tangerine Tango and Garden Green. My choice of embellishment are the Silver Pearls (Michael's). I inked the image with Memento Tuxedo Black and I colored it with Copic Markers - R08 and G07. The sentiment is also inked in Black.

For close ups and more inspiration visit the OCC ladies on their blog - Cindy, Jennifer, Lori, Kim, Vicki, Frances, Robin, Loretta and Jenny.

Quick note - I finally signed up for my 24/7 Stampin Up shopping site!!! If you don't have a demonstrator yet and you would like to be updated on current SU *Specials* contact me under silkeledlow@yahoo.com - also feel free to shop with me 24/7 - I appreciate your business!!!

This is my submission for the IC171 - Fitz and Floyd. WOW - what a store - so many fun ideas and it's a great shopping site too!!!

I was inspired by this Bellacara Pitcher - I really liked the colors!!! I used the new Set *Nature of Friendship* from There She Goes. I borrowed the fab SYFTT Sketch from Jen del Muro again. Here is the other card I made with this Sketch.

The colors on this card are - White, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red and Close To Cocoa and Chocolate Chip. I added some brown Gemstones (Michael's) on the little flowers and I created the Build-A-Brad with the round image from the TSG Set.

Have a wonderful weekend!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!
