VSAPRBP01, TLC269 Thank You; CQC29, C4C33 Birthday Hugs & Kisses

Howdy friends!!!

I have two cards to share with you this evening. My first one is for this weeks Verve Beach Party Color Challenge  - using Orange, Aqua and Green.  I combined it with this weeks TLC269 - Piercing.

I figured I dig some of my Verve Sets out and ink them up for a change...they haven't seen much love in a long, long time!!!
This flower image is from the Floral Whimsy Set. As you can tell I added a lot of piercing!!! I usually use my Mat Pack from Stampin' Up for most of my piercing...the templates are very easy to handle.

***********************************************

My next card is another birthday card. I used the layout from the C4C33 Sketch again. The colors were inspired by this weeks CQC29 - using Bravo Burgundy,  Tangerine Tango, Yoyo Yellow and Green Galore. I also combined it with the SSCC35 - adding flowers and it also fits the TSC Challenge -  creating a *birthday card*.

The floral Set is from Rubberneck called Wild Flower.  The seniments are from SU. The floral images were inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers. I added some Medium Silver Pearls. For a change I also added the same floral images inside!!!

Have a wonderful evening and thank you for stopping by!!! Hugs ~S~

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC51!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I was a total slacker this weekend.....how about you?!? I sooooo need this little break :) I did a little stampin' yesterday and finished up my Flourishes Timeless Tuesday project for today!!!

Talking about today's FTTC51 Challenge.....we have a Guest Designer!!! It's no other than my sweet blogging friend *Pat Adam* also known as *The Rubber Maid*. Pat is hosting today's Challenge and here is what she is challenging us with in her own words......!!!

"For this week's challenge be inspired by the letter *P*. Sounds a bit crazy, but not really if you think about it for a bit. I'm thinking pink, pearls, poppies, purple, punches, and piercing. Do you get the picture? Sure you do so let's get moving and make those perfectly pretty and positively pleasing presentations. Don't think you've been challenged in this way before, so I will be excited to see how you all do." Pat

I used the beautiful Sweet Violets Set on the card and box. The sentiment on the card is from the brand new Taglines Set. The images were inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Marker Collections - Hollyhock, Dahlia and Holly.

Here are all the *P*'s I used on my card..... the color *pink*, *piercing*, *punches*,*pearls* and I added a *present* on the side :) !!!

I combined this project with a few different challenges.....my main inspiration came from this weeks FS155 - Karen Barber. I chose to case this beautiful card from her!!! I changed the layout to the CCEE1003 Sketch. I added *pink* for the C4C21 Challenge and a touch of *green* for the SSCC23 Challenge. Adding Design Paper was this weeks CAS51 Challenge. The box idea came from the JUGS17 - Template Challenge. My template is from Stampin' Up.... if you are interested in this templae pls e-mail me and I'll send you the pdf.file.

Please make sure to stop by Betty, Cindy, Dee, Maki and Pat's blog to see their take on the Challenge!!!

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!!!

SSS28 Glory to God

Happy Wednesday!!!

I saw this awesome SSS28 Sketch the other day and I've been wanting to make a card with it!!! I'm actually a bit late for the actually challenge, but better now then never......!!!

I used the new ODBD November Sets - Luke 2:11 and Christmas Verses.

The card base was scored in 1/4" intervals. The Black CS was punched on top and bottom with a MS Punch. I also added some piercing right above and below the Bible Verse.

The *poinsettia* was cut out..... and after coloring it I added some Angel Wing Shimmerz. To dress the card up a bit I added some punched out leaves, Black Kaiser Pearls and some Silver Pearls.

Before I go I want to remind you that I'm selling a whole bunch of Stampin' Up Sets...make sure to check them out right HERE !!

Thank you for stopping by today!!! Have a great day!!!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday, SSCC5 Branch Out

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

Oh - I'm so excited, because it's my turn to host the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC34 today - wahoooooo!!!

I'm challenging you to add some *Misting* to your card/project!!!

There is a wonderful variety to achieve different misting looks.....here are some ideas - you ink the stamp, mist with water, then stamp. You can decide if you want your stamp mist image to be the background, focal image, accent element, or all three. We would love to see what you create!!!

Here are two links to SCS tutorials - Misting with Markers and Misting with Alcohol Markers - just in case you like to run with these ideas.....!?!

For my card I used the *Misting with Markers* technique as this is one of my favorite stampin' techniques :)!!! Need to get inspired...check out these cards and this post.

My card layout is from the C4C3 Sketch.

First I added the panel of Melon Mambo DP to my card base. I decided to add a couple scored lines to my card base as well.

Next I colored straight onto the Spring Ephemerals image using the Melon Mambo and Old Olive Markers. Then I used my little Misting Bottle and sprayed some water over the image and stamped it straight onto my White CS - voila !!!

Quick tip...you can convert your old Stamp Cleaning Bottles into a Misting Sprayer!!!!

I hope you will try this technique and play along with us?!? I can't wait to stop by and see your creations!!!

Don't forget to stop by Betty, Cindy and Kimberly's blog for their take on this challenge!!!

****************************************

I was in a stampin' mood and created a second card for you!!! This one is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge - SSCC5. The Challenge is to make a *Fall Color* card/project!!!

I used the same layout from the C4C3 Sketch, but this time I made it an all SUO card!!!

These are the SU Sets I used - *Branch Out* ,*Classic Stripes* BG and *Sweet Little Sentiments*.

The colors are - Whisper White, Really Rust.

The tree and the little add ons were inked in Chocolate Chip. The leaves were inked with the retired Stampin' Pad Spectrum - Pumpkin Patch. The Really Rust CS panel was stamped in the same color.

At the end I added the Polka Dot Dusty Durango Ribbon as it matches the Really Rust color perfectly!!!

Oh yeahhh - did you see the tiny little Silver Pearl...??? Well - I couldn't help myself - *wink*!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today....have a great day!!!
