Curtain Call #46 Birthday Wishes

Happy Sunday!!!

I almost forgot that it is a holiday weekend....wahoooo!!! Hope all my American friends are enjoying this long weekend as well???

I have some exciting news to share with you....some of you probably saw it already?!? I'm on the Curtain Call Design Team!!! If you follow my blog, you know how much I love playing Stacey's fabulous color combos and she has come up with another fabulous one today!!! I'm soooo thrilled that Stacey asked me to be on her team for the next three month and wait till you see the rest of the crew!!!

Here is my take on the colors..................

I used the beautiful MTSC89 Sketch for my design. The card was finished off with some piercing, scoring, the scalloped border, my fav Silver Pearls and some new Peach Parfait Ribbon.

Check out the new Curtain Call Crew!!! Please make sure to stop by to see:

Moxie Fab, CTD106, Home Tweet Home and more.....

Happy Thursday everyone!!!

Hope you are having a fabulous week so far??? For me the week has just flown by....!!! Not sure if I mentioned something before, but I'm actually trying to go back to work!!! I've been a SAHM for over 13 years now and it is time for me to create *my own* little independence again, plus I have to start paying for my own *little* stampin' addiction...LOL!!! Anyway, yesterday I did something I have not done in over 18 years...I had a *job interview*....I know it's crazy...LOL!!! I was pretty nervous and I had no idea *what* to expect!!! Not sure how it went, but I guess I'll find out soon....wish me luck :) !!!

Today I've been surfing blog land a bit and found a few challenges I wanted to play along with. I actually have two cards for you. First up, is my idea for the Moxie Fab Trigger Tuesday Challenge.

The layout was inspired by the Fussy and Fancy Sketch #17 A. The colors also match the CTD106.

The sweet image and sentiment is from PTI Bird Watching Set....I think this is my second favorite PTI Set :) !!! The image itself was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with Copic Markers. I finally had a change to add some fun clouds to my card....using the PTI Cloud Dies. The DP is from the SU Soft Sky Collection. The big Kraft CS circle was cut out with my Cricut Machine and the White CS panel was scored. The card was finished up with some awesome Brown Crochet Ribbon, matching Brown Buttons and some Silver Pearls.

********************************************

My second card was inspired by my sweet friend Mercy.....she always has some fabbo Sketches going on and this layout is from this weeks MTSC87. The colors are from this weeks Curtain Call Act #43.

I must admit, these colors were harder to combined than I first thought...LOL...but after all I like how this card turned out!!! Here is my idea................

The flower image is from the SU Watercolor Trio Set. The Design Paper is from the SU Kiwi Kiss and the Tangerine Tango Collection. I scored the left side of the White CS panel and finished the card off with some Pacific Point Ribbon, the MS Butterfly Punch as well as some of my favorite Silver Pearls.

Have a wonderful evening and thank you for stopping by!!! I'll be back on Saturday for the C4C Challenge....see you then!!! Hugs ~S~

MTSC79, CTD98, MTF WSC Got Candy???

Hello sweet friend!!!

Boy oh boy is it hot and humid down here in Georgia!!!  Summer definitely started around here. We had an heat index of a 110 F today....not sure what to expect for July and August....but I hope it will bring some wonderful, cool showers here and there!?!?!

We've been actually quite busy...we've been moving my oldest daughter upstairs away from the little ones. They always love to mess with Sarah's stuff....what can I say she is the coolest older sister...LOL!!! I hope this move will bring more peace for my sanity around here..LOL..okay at least I'm wishfull thinking :) !!!

I had a chance to play some more with my super sweet PI image called Lollipop Girl from MFT. I used the layout from Mercy's MTSC79 Sketch. These soft colors are from the CTD98 ~ using Blush Blossom, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss. I'm also submitting this cutie for the MTF WSC Challenge ~ using Cork or Felt.

The image was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with these Copic Markers ~ E00, E000, YR01, G24, E47, R30 and Colorless Blender. The Dotted Embossing Folder is from QuicKutz. I added some Mellow Moss Ribbon, a White Felt Flower and a matching Button. At last I added the sentiment with some Chocolate Kaiser Pearls and bedazzled the yummy lollipop with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a fabulous evening!!! Hugs ~S~

MTSC77, Curtain Call 34 For You

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

It's very hot here in GA...I think the heat index is at a 100 Fahrenheit...yikes!!! We didn't even feel like hanging out at the pool today....so instead I made a card...wahooo!!!

I finally had a chance to play with Mercy's Sketches again and combined her MTSC77 layout with this weeks Curtain Call #33 ~ using Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Night of Navy and White

I used a retired SU Set called *Happy Harmony*. I colored the flower image with the Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery Marker. The sentiment is from a different retired Set called *Fancy Flexible Phrases*. I colored it with the Night of Navy Marker. The dark blue Design Paper in the background is from this Pink Paislee Collection. The second panel of the Sketch was scored and I added some Silver Pearls on each of the corners. A last I added the Certainly Celery 5/8" Ribbon.

Enjoy the rest of your day!!!  I'm off to my Zumba Class....did I mention how much I love it :) !?! Hugs ~S~

MTSC71, Moxie Fab World and C4C34,CC266 Casing Barb

Aloha friends!!! I have two cards for you !!!

When I saw the Moxie Fab Trigger Tuesday Challenge I knew I had to play!!! Isn't this a fabulous inspiration photo??? I'm so ready to hang out at the pool!!!

Here is my take on it.....

I received my PTI package and could help myself to ink up the awesome Delightful Dahlia Set. I loved the April PTI Blog Hop idea - creating something with tissue paper so much I had to do make another flower card :) !!! The layout from this weeks MTSC71 Sketch was the perfect with it!!!

**********************************************

My second card is for this weeks C4C34 - casing on of the DT Members. I chose to case this beautiful CAS card my sweet and super talented friend Barbara Anders made.

I love that Barb and I share the same passion about PTI :) and when I saw her card I had to play with the same Guide Lines Two Set. I changed the layout a bit and added a flower instead of the ribbon. The colors are from the CC266 - using Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Ruby Red. The dessert option was to add Creamy Caramel or Close to Cocoa....I chose the yummy Creamy Caramel!!!  At last I decorated the card with some Small Gold Pearls and the flower on the side.

Have a wonderful evening!!!

IC229 Happy Mother's Day and MTSC70 Friends

Happy weekend!!!

The weather is once again fabulous here in the South...(sorry for rubbing it in)!!! Mimi and I are getting our hair done today...did I mention Miriam gave herself a little haircut a few days back?!? Well it looks terrible...it's right on the side and I can no longer hide it.....so today she will get a *cool for the pool* haircut!!! It's the second time she has done that and I was a bit mad, because her hair finally started growing longer and now we have to cut at least 3 inches off...yikes!!! Oh well!!! If Mimi let's me I'll show you a photo of her this upcoming week.

I noticed a new Challenge over on SCS called *Queen for a Day* hosted by the fab Mrs. Ann Ryan.....and this week *Cathleen aka ctorina* is the lucky *Queen*!!!  I love Cathleen's cards...she has a very elegant style and of course I couldn't resist playing along. I chose this gorgeous card from her gallery.

I wasn't sure what colors I wanted to use on my card....until I saw the IC229 ~ Green Rainbow Challenge. I saw these super cute Eco-Paints and they reminded me of the SU In-Colors. Well, I really have not used them too often and before some of them retire I figured I better use them a few more times!!!

The flowers are from the SU Vintage Vogue Set. The DP is from the Razzleberry Lemonade Collection. I I used the Top Note Die for the center. The leaves were created with the Sizzix Little Leaves Die and at last I added the Silver Pearls.

*****************************************

Since I had everything out I created another card with the same Stamp Set, DP and changed the sentiment. I used the layout from the MTSC70 Sketch. I combined this card with the WT267 - Mixing Patterns and the TLC269 - Piercing.

The sentiment is from the Friends 24/7 Set. I added the piercing, the Silver Pearls and the Rich Razzleberry Ribbon. Hope you like it???

Here are few more challenges my cards fit to:

ODBDSLC11  ~ Mother's Day
OCC Challenge ~ Blooming Blossoms

Have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs ~S~
