Well it's another day and another fun Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!!!

Today is Betty's turn to host the FTTC33 and she wants us to *Mix it Up*!!! We are using stamps, dp, textures, or a combination of all three to mix different patterns. Well, I must admit I'm *Design Paper challenged* - LOL!!! I love DP and own lots of it, but when it comes to adding them together...oh my I'm in trouble - LOL!!!

I couldn't help myself but to use the gorgeous new Seasonal Wreaths Set that was released this past Friday!!! Just in case you missed the Flourishes release....check out the post right here !!!

The two different Design Papers are from the Christmas Cocoa and Bella Rose Collection.

OCCC Doddle This....., IC170, WSC71 Friendship....

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

This month -Kim Teasdale is hosting the OCC Challenges. Today we start off by adding *Doodling* to our card!!! For all the Samples and more info please visit the OCC Blog!!!

I'm a very bad *doodler* (sounds funny- huh??? I heard in the land down under it has a totally different meaning.....*blushing* - LOL!!!). Yep, my handwriting and my drawings are not my strong side - LOL!!! But that's where the fabulous *Doodle This* Set from SU comes to my rescue!!! I haven't used this Set in so long and I'm glad I held on to it!!!

I still had my stampin' stuff from the SC218 project out and I thought since it's so pretty I'll use it on this card as well...!!! Just in case you've missed my project the other day - click HERE to view it!!!

For this card I used the MOJO76 Sketch. The DP is from Simple Scrappin Kit *Special Delivery Girl*. The Kit came with the Textured Apricot Appeal and Groovy Guava CS. I inked my flower in Old Olive onto the two different CS and cut them out. Next I rolled the petals of the flower around a pencil to make them curl a bit. I used Stampin Dimensionals to raise the second flower up. For the center piece on the flower I punched out a little flower from the SU *Trio Flower* Punch and dressed it up with a Silver Pearl (Michael's).

On the center panel I have use my brand spankin' new EK Success *Dotted Wave* Punch - thanks for enabling me Dawn Easton and Laura Fredrickson!!! Michael's has a whole new selection of EK Punches - go and check them out!!! According to the Sketch I added the DS Groovy Guava Ribbon to center panel. At last I added the sentiment from the *Warmest Regards* Set and the piercing right below.

Hope you will join us this week?!?

For a close up on every ones project please visit the OCC ladies on their blog - Cindy Haffner, Jennifer Meyer, Kim Teasdale, Lori Boyd, Robin Willis, Frances Byrne, Jenny Gropp and Viki Garrett.

********************************************************
This is my card I made for the IC170 - fun, fun little store full of wonderful inspiration!!!

I was inspired by this darlin' little Summer Dress.

I combined the IC with Beate's WSC71 Sketch. Did you all know she is back??? I'm so happy to see Beate stamping again - I missed her awesome Sketches and her fabulous talent!!!

The base is 5" x 5". The CS is - White (PTI), Tempting Turquoise. The image is from There She Goes - *Nature of Friendship*.

The colors I used on the image are Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip.

The Ribbon is from the Raspberry Fizz PTI Collection. To finished it off I added the sentiment, the Silver Brads and the small Silver Pearls.

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you back here on Tuesday with a fun Flourishes Challenge!!!

BIC33, OCCC Happy Holidays and CC194, WSC67 Love Birds

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I was in the middle of posting my CC194 card when my computer crashed - YIKES!!!

I have some news to share....I'll be a Guest Designer for *Treehouse Stamps* in Dec/Jan!!!
I'm so excited to get a chance to play with Ashley Bowen's Stamps!!!

Treehouse Stamps is celebrating it's
1. Anniversary starting December 01st and Ashley will have some fun stuff going on - so make sure you'll check her blog!!!

I used Beate's WSC67 for the layout. The Set I'm using is actually a Sneak Peek for the December Release and it's called *Owlentine*. I colored the owls with Prisma and Copic Marker - Sienna Brown, Dark Brown, Green Tea and Lipstick Red. I also used the Going Gray Marker from SU. I added some Basic Black CS to make the image pop a bit more...Next I added some Tiny Silver Brads and the Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon. The Really Rust CS was embossed with the CB folder *Bubbles*.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Next is my card for the *Be Inspired* Challenge #33.

This time Beate has chosen this cozy outdoor living space by Martha Stewart. It reminds me a lot of Germany.... - we have beautiful settings like that around the area I grew up!!! I always loved the Summer time in Germany...fun Beer Gardens, good food and the best beer - LOL!!! I think I'm getting home sick now...:(
I have not been to Germany in 3 years!!! It gets harder and harder once the kids go to school and all the activities after school....Sorry - didn't try to get all sad now - LOL!!!

Anyway - here is what inspired me about this picture - there are some hanging light right above the table - can you see them??? I thought it would be fun to translate them into hanging ornaments for my Christmas card.

For the layout of my card I used the OCC Sketch from this past weekend. The flowers from the picture were my color inspiration....just in case you wondered where the blue is coming from - LOL!!! The CS I chose are - Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red and Whisper White. I embossed the Baja Breeze CS with the CB folder *Snowflakes*. Next I stamped the Ornaments from the retired *Ornamassortment* Set with Black Stazon and colored them with Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red Ink using a Blender Pen!!! Next I added some Crystal Effects and dried it with the Heating Tool. Once I knew it was completely dry I added the punched out Martha Stewart Branches on top. I used River Rock, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive CS for them. Next I dressed the card up with the new Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon.

The sentiment is from the *Many Merry Messages* and it was also inked in Black Stazon. This whole panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

Well - I hope you like my take in the picture??? ~TFL~

Hope we have inspired you to play along??? Make sure to check out all the other ladies from Beate's Design Team - Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and
Susan Roberts.

LSC194, WSC66 Tea for Two

Happy TGIF guys!!!

Loved playing the LSC194 - using *Acrylic* Stamps only!!! Perfect for what I had in mind today.....Remember I was telling you I'm on the DT for *There She Goes* now???

Well, Jessica has sent me this fun new Set called *Tea for Two* and I've been wanting to use it, but couldn't think of anything cute and simple until I saw Beate's WSC#66 Sketch. So - this is how my card came together!!!

The image was inked in Basic Black and watercolored with Riding Hood Red Ink. I only used Whisper White and Riding Hood Red for my CS. To finish it all off I added the RR Ribbon and the pretty new *Flower Brads* from SU.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Now I'm off to see what Taylor VanBruggen cooked up for us...see ya later!!!

BIC30 & WSC64 *For You*

Happy Tuesday again!!!! I still can't believe it's Tuesday again....

Today Beate is featuring this fun purse called *Bella Bag*(you can actually buy it right here) for the *BIC30*.
When I saw the purse I knew I wanted to use my poor neglected *Boho Backgrounds* Set!!!

I know that the purse color is more of a *Turquoise* - unfortunately I didn't have enough *Tempting Turquoise* CS to include in my project!!! That's why I had to replace it with *Bashful Blue....Hope you don't mind?!?

Well - here is my take on the purse.......
These are the colors I have chosen -
Kraft, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Old Olive and Whisper White.

For the base of the card and bag I used Textured Whisper White CS. The bottom scalloped stripe on the bag is from the Old Olive Prints
DP.

For my card I chose Beate's WSC64. I thought the Sketch was perfect to show off the *Boho Backgrounds* Medallion.

For the bag I followed the instructions from Diana Gibbs. If you have not made one of these cute little bags - you should definitely give it a try!!!!
The only thing that I did differently is I extended my bag to a 7" x 11" height. Diana has hers shown at 5 1/2" x 11". I guess you can adjust it to any height you need for your project.....
All the *Medallions* were inked in Versamark and then embossed with Basic Black EP. I stamped and embossed the *Medallions* double and then punched out the second ones with the 1 3/8"Circle Punch. Then I raised them with Stampin Dimensionals and placed a Silver Eyelet (Memory Keepers) and a Blue Rhinestone Brad in the center. Next I layered the whole image onto So Saffron and Old Olive CS. This panel was also raised with Stampin Dimensionals.
Hope you like my little creations and you will find some time to play along???Don't forget to check the rest of Beate's talented ladies Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and Susan Roberts.
Have a great day ~TFL~

FS90 Merry Christmas

Hello again!!! After I posted my *birthday* post (down below) - I had to find out who the *Featured Stamper* is.....and I was so happy to see that Kay Kalthoff aka *Speedystamper* was selected!!!

Congratulations Kay!!! Your gallery is gorgeous and I so love your style!!!

After getting lost in her gallery I finally decided to case this card. Since I have to make more *holiday* cards I stuck with the holiday theme.

I changed the layout to Beate's WSC63. I changed the colors to - Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue. I embossed the BG with the CB *Snowflake* folder. The sentiment is from the *All Holiday* Set and I pierced right in between. To dress my card up I added some *Silver Staples* on the side. I still had plenty of *Star* Chipboard's from the retired *On board Garland Greetings* leftover and decided to make that my focal point. I bedazzled the *Star* with some light blue MS Glitter.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

WCMDFS08 and WSC60 Get Well Soon

Happy World Cardmaking Day!!!

I told ya - I'll be back with another card....

I made this one for the WCMDFS08 and the WCMDWT08 that is going on over on SCS right now!!!

Don't they have some fun, fun Challenges going on today??? If you haven't seen hop on over and check it out!!!
The Way to use it Challenge is about - showing off a tree image....yeahhhh - I got the perfect tree - LOL!!!

Next - the Featured Stamper today is Sherry.
Click right here to find out more!!! I chose to case this card from Sherry.

I flipped the card around and used the new fabulous *Spooky Silhouettes* from *There She Goes* as my main *Halloween* theme!!!

I kept the same fun colors as Sherry - Plum Pudding, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Whisper White - I didn't use any DP. Instead of Ribbon I added Purple Brads!!!

Hope you like it???
In honor of this fun, fun day - Julia from *Little Paper Shop* released two brand new Sets today - *Topiary* and *A Dream* plus Julia is discounting all other stamps 20% off!!!!
My card is featuring the *Topiary* Set. I combined it with Beate's wonderful WSC60 Sketch and the fab OCC ladies Challenge to add *Bling on the Bling*.

I made the Sketch into a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card and flipped the layout to fit my image.

I forgot to mention that I also used Kristina Werner's awesome Color Combo #24 - Very Vanilla, Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip. Dont' they look great together???

Anyway - I have scored my background with my new Scor-it and created the *Grid Technique*.

Next I layered the panels according to the Sketch - instead of the bottom long one I added a Satin Ribbon. The Kiwi Kiss panel was pierced in two rows and raised with Stampin Dimensionals. The image itself was inked in Chocolate Chip and colored with Prismacolor Markers. I bedazzled the image with Dazzling Diamond Glitter and added Jumbo Eyelets with Clear Rhinestones. The senitment was also inked with Chocolate Chip Ink and I pierced right below it.
Hope you will be able to stamp all day too??? Come back later to see what else I've come up with?!? Until then ~TFL~......

This fun Set is called *Just Bee-Cause*!!! Isn't it cute???

Of course I had to go with the *Bee* colors...Hey did you all see the *Bee Movie*??? Wasn't that super fun - he,he,he - sorry I had to throw that in - LOL!!!

Anyway - I have used Basic Black and So Saffron plus the Whisper White CS. The main image was stamped with Basic Black. Then I've colored the empty spaces with a So Saffron Marker and the wings with a Glitter Pen from *Gelly Roll*. All the images were stamped twice. The second image was cut and raised with Stampin Dimesionals. It's really cute and I wish I could display it better....I think I'm gonna have to ask Santa for a Canon Rebel Camera - LOL!!!

Blog Candy Sketch - A Light unto My Path

Good Morning everyone.
Hope you all had a great weekend?

It was very hot here in Georgia and we hung out at the pool in the later afternoons.....plus we shopped till we dropped so to speak....didn't take very long in this heat - LOL!!!

I didn't get to stamp very much, but I've made this card last week for the *Blog Candy Sketch Request*.

This is Beate's WSC31 which was requested by Sandyh50 (no blog info) and by Jennifer L. *Created by Jen*.
For this card I have used the *A Light unto My Path* Set. I love this Set - it is so serene!!!
Here is a little trick on how I have been able to add some extra colors to the image. I have first stamped it with Blue Bayou - stroking the Ink Pad in one direction - love that look. Next I have taken a *baby wipe* and wrapped it around my finger and wiped off the area I wanted to add different colors to.
I have used a Chocolate Chip Marker next and colored in the light house. Then I have taken the River Rock Ink Pad and inked the bottom of this Set. Voila - that's it!!!
I have started out with a Whisper White CS. The image was trimmed around the edges and also placed on a Whisper White CS. Next I have raised these two layers up and added it to a larger Chocolate Chip CS.
The panel on the right hand side started with Chocolate Chip, Blue Bayou and Whisper White. Then I have added Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets and *medium* Brads from MM.
The sentiment is from the *Hugs & Wishes* Set and it was inked in Chocolate Chip.
Sandy and Jennifer I hope you like what I have done??? Thanks for playing!!! I love this Sketch too!!!

WSC51 A Tree for All Seasons

This card is my submission for Beate's WSC#51. You can check the Sketch right here.
I have started coloring the image from the *A Tree for All Seasons* with Chocolate Chip, Pink Passion and Wild Wasabi (Blender Pen) Markers and stamped it in the center of the square Metal Tag from SU.
Next I have adhered the scalloped CC CS which was cut out with the long rectangle Nestie and trimmed to the 5 1/2" size. Then I have added the Wild Wasabi strip on top and started piercing right along the top. Next I have added the cute Wild Wasabi DS Ribbon.
The image was placed on Stampin Dimensionals before I have added it onto the card. The sentiment is from the *Absolutely Fabulous* Set and I have stamped it with Chocolate Chip Ink right above the tied Ribbon.

Blog Candy Sketch - Spring Solitude

This is a card I have made for Glenda (SCS gallery) and Angie Britt (no blog). They both favor Beate's WSC#29 Sketch which you can see right here .

For this card I have used the fabulous Hostess II Set - *Spring Solitude*. It is such a pretty Set and I don't use it that often....and today I thought it would work great for this particular Sketch!!!

This card measures 5" x 5". I have started out with the long strip of Chocolate Chip CS and adhered it. Next I have added the DS Blue Bayou Ribbon.

For the main image I have stamped the flowers randomly with Pumpkin Pie Ink. Then I have stamped one solid flower image with PP and cut it out. Next I've layered it on top of the main image and added a Copper Brad in the center. The stem and the leaves were colored with Chocolate Chip and Old Olive Markers. The *bird* was inked with Blue Bayou both images were cut out and raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

Next I have used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to line up the sentiment from the same Setand punched it out with a 1" cirlcle Punch. Then I've layered it onto a 1 1/4" circle Blue Bayou CS. It was also raised with Stampin Dimensionals. To finish it all off I have added some Silver Brads. Voila!!!

Glenda and Angie - I hope you like what I have done with your favorite Sketch??? ~TFL~

WT168 Friends

Sorry it took my so long to post this card, but I was running late this morning to meet my PIL for lunch.
Some of our relatives from Virgina came and we all met in Savannah which is about a 45 minutes drive - I have made it in 30 - he,he,he!!!

First I wanted to play in this WT Challenge, but then I thought about it and I didn't really have a Stamp Set to work with.....but then I read Julia's instructions again and I ran with the *Vacation* theme!!!

Isn't *Vacation* the best time to take it easy and hang out with your friends???
Which led me to use the *Sweetybella* I have recently bought. This is my SCS buddy Denise aka *peanutebee* also known as this past weekends Featured Stamper - she totally rocks!!!

Anyway - that's the both of us eating our yummy, yummy favorite ice cream together!!! Make sure you hop over to Denise's blog to find her version of the *Sweetybella* Stamp!!! Isn't it an awesome card she has made for me???

For my card I have tried to use Beate's WSC#49 Sketch. I think I left one panel off - but that's where I have got the idea for this layout!!!

Since this is a *Vacation* card I went with the fun and bright colors - Yoyo Yellow, Real Red.
For the coloring of the image I have used Yoyo Yellow, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Close to Cocoa, Brilliant Blue, Creamy Caramel. Everything was colored using a Blender Pen.

I have stamped the image twice and cut out the ice cream. Next I have used the 3-D Liquid Applique and dried it with the Heating Tool - I love how it pops up!!! Then I have raised them up with Stampin Dimensionals!!! I haved added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter to the flowers and my fab necklace I'm wearing - he,he,he!!!!

Denise's favorite flavor is Chocolate Mint and mine is Hawaiian Coconut. Do you think I have made it look alright - LOL???

Thanks flor looking!!!

WSC49 Fresh Cuts

Wahoo - I finally made a card for Beate's WSC #49. I think I've made three attempts before I was not interrupted....

It was my girls last day of school yesterday and we had the house full of Sarah's friends and ....it was very busy around here!!! Not to mention the noise.....I can't believe it's *Summer Break* - can someone rescue me - PLLLEEEAAASSSEEE????

Anyhow - here is my card. I enjoyed this Sketch very much and I think I'll have to use it soon again!!!
I have used my favorite color combo again....- Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White.

The card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". I have started out with Real Red as my base and layered it with Whisper White. Then I have cut a panel of Real Red and Basic Black and adhered it to the upper part of the card. I have also added the Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon from SU.

The main image was cut with the a circle Nestie then layered onto Real Red and a large scalloped circle Nestie - I have raised the circles each with Stampin Dimensionals. Then I have stamped the sentiment in Real Red. To finish the card off I have added three medium Silver Brads from Making Memories.

Enjoy your weekend and check out the card below this post - I have made another *Fresh Cuts* idea!!! ~TFL~

What a fun day - I get to play a little more...my Miriam is being a good girl!!!

I had a couple of minutes to make a card for Beate's Sketch Challenge #47!!!

I found this super cheap Wedding Stamp Set at the Target $1 Spot....they have some cool stuff there sometimes!!! I don't have so many Wedding Stamps and that one was very cute and the price was right - LOL!!!

I have stamped this image in Basic Black and cut it out with the oval Coluzzle. The scalloped oval was cut with the Nestabilitie. I also have used my Cuttlebug "Swirl" Folder for the center panel.
The card was dressed up with Halfback Pearls and a Black Sheer Ribbon - voila!!! ~TFL~

WSC43 - One of a Kind

First of all I just wanted to let you know that my little Mimi is doing okay....she had a little collision with her sister on the neighbors trampoline and must have fell funny onto her sister cutting her tongue with her own teeth....- it was a very deep and long cut, but thank goodness the doctors did not need to sew it together...they said they would have placed her under full anesthesia if she would have bit through it....that would have been major drama....

Lucky Mimi gets to eat lots of ice cream and mainly liquid foods plus she has to take penicillin to fight off any infections!!!

Anyway - here is the card I have made for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #43.

This card is dedicated to "Lindsay" from California and Stephanie Eisele aka "Stampin Cats" who both chose the "One of a Kind" Set as their favorite when they participated in my Blog Candy Giveaway!!! Way to go ladies!!!

I love this Bohemian Set and I also love the colors Kristina Werner had going on on her color challenge #4 - Tempting Turquoise, Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive and Very Vanilla. These colors remind me of the trips I use to take to the Middle East when I was a Flight Attendant. They had the most beautiful beaches ever and the picture totally reflects that beauty!!!

The card I have made measures 4" x 4". The Tempting Turquoise CS was CB'd with the "Textile" folder and then I've made the panel on the left with Chocolate Chip and a stripe of Close to Cocoa - for the scallop edge I've used the Corner Rounder and added the Mini gold Brads. The panel was finished off with the Tempting Turquoise Ribbon from SU.

The main image was stamped with Chocolate Chip onto Very Vanilla and another with the Tempting Turquoise CS - both were cut out and raised with Stampin Dimensionals. For the center I have used the Build a Brad from SU and stamped that little flower image with Old Olive.

Hope you like my "Bohemian" card and I'll see ya soon!!!
