Feathers on Borders - Thank you cards

Hey crafty people,

I hope you all are doing well. :) 

Today I wanna show you two cards that I made with a lot of paper scraps. I have them in a big box and sometimes I just take it and see what happens when I use my Dies to get them in shape. In this is what happened this week. So easy, so fun. :)

I made some borders to get a frame on my card, so that the feathers are not floating in the nowhere. If you know what I mean. ;) The feathers are so beautiful! I really love all the bits and pieces that you can take away and put some pretty pattern paper on the back. So that´s how I made these cards. :)

With a stamp I added a sentiment and of course sequins and a piece of twine is the last detail to get a beautiful highlight on your project. Do you use sequins on your cards and other paper crafting projects?

Bright colourful card

Last time I shared how to make gorgeous bright and delicate flowers from the Tribal Collection by Craft Asylum for Sizzix for a layout. today I share how to use them in a card.

I used the same dies:

I used the exact same process to make this flowers as I did for the layout: die cut with the Bigz die the solid flowers using watercolour card, then spray the colour and then layer the intricate ones die cut using the Thinlits sets.

This time, though I added a sentiment from the Everyday Tab Messages stamped in black as well as patterned paper on the right edge.

I love the brightness of the flowers and the delicate intricate white detail. I am sure this will brighten some one's day very soon!

Barbecue days

Hi everybody!

The good weather is here, and soon will start the barbecue season! and this makes me very happy.

Cook and eat outdoors, enjoy with friends, laugh ... Isn't that great?

I love going to barbecues with friends, and I love bringing a bottle of wine as a gift (usually we tasted with the food cooked on the barbecue)

How could it be otherwise, it is better when we make a handmade decoration for the bottle of wine we're giving away.

I always had difficulty sticking die cut elements in the glass, until I found this little tip: Put double-sided tape on cardstock before you die cut.

There will be no barbecue without you if you carry a gift like this!

Hola a todo el mundo!

El buen tiempo ya está aquí, y pronto comenzará la temporada de barbacoas! y esto me hace muy feliz.

Cocinar y comer al aire libre, disfrutar con los amigos, reír ... ¿No es genial?

Me encanta ir a barbacoas con amigos, y me encanta llevar una botella de vino como regalo (por lo general la degustamos con la comida cocinada en la barbacoa)

Como no podía ser de otra manera, es mejor cuando hacemos una decoración hecha a mano de la botella de vino que vamos a regalar.

Siempre he tenido dificultades para pegar elementos troquelados en el cristal de la botella, hasta que encontré un pequeño truco: Poner cinta adhesiva de doble cara en la cartulina antes de troquelar.

No habrá barbacoa en la que no estéis si llevas un regalo como este!

I’ve just received these new dies and couldn’t wait to use them! I have a crush on the pretty foliage set received this week! I used framing gold paper scraps to create these nice foliage die cuts.

I selected a very chic combo: gold, white, black and cream-colored combo, to create “thank you” cards.

The leaves are simply glued on white cardstock. One of the backgrounds will be embossed with the folder wreath-flowers, which is one I like a lot! This pretty flower wreath will definitely give a spring atmosphere to my card.

Then I simply added Masking Tape, some matching small rhinestones and a Bloomini stamp printed with black Versafine.

And let’s not forget the golden touch with these Hema Stickers which I like so much!

Aussitôt reçues, aussitôt utilisées ! J'ai craqué sur le joli set de feuilles reçu cette semaine ! J'ai utilisé ici des chutes d'un papier encadrement doré pour découper ces belles feuilles.

Un combo très chic : or, blanc, noir et crème pour des petites cartes de remerciement.

Les feuilles sont simplement collées sur du cardstock blanc, un des fonds sera embossé avec la plaque wreath-flowers-set que j'aime beaucoup ! Une belle couronne fleurie pour donner rapidement une allure printanière à ma carte.

Mes petites cartes sont simplement complétées de Masking Tape, de petits strass assortis et d'un tampon Bloomini imprimé à la Versafine noire.

Un petit peu de dorure également avec les autocollants Hema dont je raffole !

This new card is really easy to create in no time at all! I hope the recipient will be happy!

Start by cutting a 20x20cm pattern paper piece. Fold it in half.

Start decorating it by embossing a white piece of cardstock with a chevrons-patterned folder.

Add some splashes on your paper with light spray ink or coffee/tea drops.

I used my starter kit to cut a nice butterfly out of an old book paper for more contrast. It is glued with 3D adhesive.

The title “Une pensée pour toi” comes from a stamp printed in pink and cut out.

Une nouvelle carte toute simple à réaliser en un minimum de temps mais qui je l'espère fera plaisir à sa destinataire !

Commencez par découper un papier imprimé au format 20x20cm et pliez-le en deux.

Décorez tout en apportant du relief avec un morceau de cardstock blanc embossé avec un motif chevrons.

Ajoutez quelques tâches en éclaboussant votre papier avec une encre en spray claire ou encore du thé ou du café.

Un joli papillon découpé grâce au Starter kit dans une page de vieux livre est monté en 3D pour ajouter du contraste.

Le titre "Une pensée pour toi" est un tampon imprimé en rose et découpé.

Here are some easy-to-make cards. I’ve used patterned paper scraps folded in half. Only the front of the cards is decorated. We’ll keep the inside for writing our little note.

I sprayed pink Glimmer Mist on a white cloth piece. Don’t forget to shake your bottle before spraying for the glimmer to appear on your creation. It’s so much nicer that way!

Let it dry in the open or speed the drying time with the help of your heat gun.

Once the cloth is dry, create flowers and hearts with your dies and your Big Shot. Superimpose the flowers,add a brad and you’ll have fantastic handmade accents as a result!

Add a mini stamp and you’re done with your cards!

Des cartes toutes simples réalisées avec des chutes de papiers imprimés que j'ai simplement plié en deux.

Seules les faces des cartes sont décorées, l'intérieur est dédié à l'écriture d'un petit mot.

J'ai utilisé un morceau de tissu blanc que j'ai vaporisé de Glimmer Mist rose. Bien penser à agiter les petites bouteilles afin que les paillettes apparaissent, c'est bien plus joli !

Laissez sécher ou activez le temps de séchage avec votre heat gun.

Une fois le tissu sec, passez les dies fleurs et coeurs à la Big Shot. Superposez ensuite les fleurs, ajoutez un brad pour obtenir de superbes embellissements faits-main !

Ajoutez un mini tampon et vos cartes sont terminées :)

Today we’re making 3 "thank you" cards for a change! It is always nice to receive a card and it is so fast to realize, so why not being tempted?

I love to use the embossing technique on my cards. It is very refined and qualitative.

My cards follow an easy pattern and are realized on the same scheme. I folded in half a 20x20 cms printed paper. Either vertically or horizontally, your choice.

I used the embossing technique on some cardstock that will be the focus point for the decoration composed of 3D accents. Then I simply add a title stamped with a nice Craft Origine stamp.

Here are my three cards. I hope you’ll like them and that you will feel like saying thanks to your loved ones more often!

Aujourd'hui pour changer 3 petites cartes pour dire MERCI ! Parce qu'une carte ça fait toujours plaisir et que c'est très rapide à réaliser , alors pourquoi s'en priver ?

J'aime beaucoup utiliser de l'embossage sur mes cartes, je trouve que cela apporte un côté très classe et travaillé.

Mes cartes sont toutes simples et fabriqué selon la même manière, j'ai utilisé un imprimé au format 20x20 que j'ai plié en deux. A prendre verticalement ou horizontalement selon vos goûts.

J'ai embossé du cardstock et composé mes cartes tout autour en jouant avec des petits embellissements en relief.Elles sont ensuite accompagnées d'un titre réalisé avec un joli tampon Craft Origine.

Voici mes trois cartes, j'espère qu'elles vous plairont et vous donneront envie de prendre un peu de temps pour dire "Merci" à vos proches !
