Send A Positive Postcard

Snail mail is my jam. Ever since I was 7, I've had a penpal and I love putting together stationery packages for friends. My Dad and I always make sure to send postcards when we travel, but I also love the idea of sending postcards just for fun.

So today I'm sharing some positive postcards if you want to make some too!

Supplies used:

• Big Shot Plus Starter Kit
• Decorative Bubbles Die Set
• Tribal Borders Die Set
• Friendship Words: Script Dies
• Mint cutting pads
• Magnetic Platform for wafer thin dies
• Die brush and foam pad
• Card stock
• Glue stick
• Corner punch

I used a gel pen and a ruler to mark out the address and postcard sections on the card stock.

I'm looking forward to sending these! If you're not into sending mail you could also use them as larger journalling cards or notecards.

Back to the travel postcards

Hi everybody!

Is vacation time, everyone will travel to nice places. And I want to propose to you a little funny thing for this year; not only send whatsapp, facebook, twitter, instagram and other things in the 2.0 world about your vacations..

This year you can also send a postcard. A postcard  written by hand, put a stamp and send by mail. Come on, let's go! it can be fun!

My proposal does not end here, the full proposal is make your own handmade postcard. Here you have a video with a creative idea (you'll learn a cool and colorful background with Archival inks)

Hola a todos!

Es tiempo de vacaciones, todo el mundo viaja a sitios bonitos. Y quiero proponeros una pequeña cosa muy divertida para este año; no sólo enviar WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram y otras cosas en el mundo 2.0 en vacaciones!

Este año también puedes enviar una postal. Una postal escrita a mano, pones un sello y la envías por correo postal. Vamos! puede ser divertido!

Mi propuesta no termina aquí, la propuesta completa es hacer tu propia postal a mano. Aquí tienes un vídeo con una idea creativa y divertida. Además aprendes a hacer un fondo con tintas Archival muy chulo y colorista.
