Congratulations card

Welcome Sizzix friends!!
Today I want to share with you a lovely card for a baby with a sweet elephant! This card was created using the Free New Baby Paper Downloads which I love so much!

I used:

Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit 660515
Free New Baby Paper Downloads
Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4PK - Speech Bubbles

Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles, Scallop

Scissors

Glue

White cardstock

Cut out a white cardstock of cm 19x15, cut out the pois paper from Free New Baby Paper Downloads cm 19x7,5. Paste the pois paper on the white cardstock. Die cut the flowers paper with Thinlits Plus Die Set (Basic Shapes)included in Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit 660515, Cut out a rectangle in the center of flowers paper. Cut out the elephant from embellishments paper anche paste it on the center of white cardstock. Paste on card the flowers paper.

Die cut a bubble and paste "It's a girl!" phrase on it.

Die cut three different circles. Cut out "Congratulations" phrase, "Sweet baby" oval and assemble the card.

Cartoncino bianco

Ritagliare un cartoncino bianco delle dimensioni di cm 19x15. Usando il cartoncino a pois, ritagliarne un pezzo di cm 19x7,5 e incollarlo sulla parte alta del cartoncino bianco. Con la fustella che crea i bordini fustellare la carta a fiori creando solo un decoro. Al centro di questo cartoncino creare un'apertura rettangolare come se fosse una porta. Ritagliare l'elefantino e incollarlo al centro della card, quindi incollare il cartoncino a fiori. Fustellare un fumetto e incollare la scritta "It's a girl!".

Fustellare diversi cerchi di dimensioni differenti. Ritagliare la scritta "Congratulations" e l'ovale "Sweet baby" quindi assemblare la card.

Very sweet packaging

Hi everybody!

I'm from a small city in Costa Brava (Girona), called Sant Feliu de Guíxols, with a great scrapbooking event in august! ;-), but also have an important event in easter: a fair dedicated to the sweet fritters (la fira del brunyol).

There are a lot of different types, but the most typical one is the triangle sweet fritter

Many families cook at home and give to their friends, everybody wants to make the best ones! Also you can make a handmade bag to carry the sweet fritters

This is what I wanted to do, a beautiful bag to fill it with this typical sweet.

¡Hola a todo el mundo!

Soy de una pequeña ciudad en la Costa Brava (Girona), llamado Sant Feliu de Guíxols, con un gran feria de scrapbooking en agosto! ;-), Pero también tiene un evento importante en semana santa: una feria dedicada a los buñuelos (la fira del brunyol).

Hay un montón de tipos diferentes, pero los más típicos son los buñuelos de triangulo

Muchas familias los cocinan en casa y reparten entre sus amigos, todo el mundo quiere hacer los mejores!  Y También se puede hacer una bolsa handmade para llevar los buñuelos a la gente.

Esto es lo que yo quería hacer, una bolsa bonita para llenarla de este dulce típico.

Espero que os guste la bolsa (ya que por desgracia no podéis degustar los buñuelos).

The nesting dies are some of my most used dies. I love printing texts onto cardstock and then cutting it out with the dies. It is so easy and changes from the usual label shape I usually use. For this layout I wanted to keep it simple and I was inspired by the constellation on the dark blue patterned paper. I cut out my text and some circles in the two patterned papers I had chosen. I placed them diagonally over the page and recreated part of the constellation with some wood veneer stars and added some hand drawn lines.

Bente's Week 2 post 'Gift wrap & Tags'.

 

Hi and welcome to my week 2 post using the gorgeous free papers that you can download from the Sizzix web page. There is a link at the end of my post :-)

This week here at Sizzix UK we are focusing on gift wrapping and making cute tags for the recipients. I have been busy doing some of that too, and here is the result:

I used some of my fave dies at the moment for my giftwrap and tags.
The 'Circles, scallop' finds it's way to most of my projects.And when I am thinking of a seasonal project the 'Winter Borders and Rosette' by the talented Paula Pascual is one of the first sets I look for.

As I said I used the free downloadable papers here and the snowflake on blue is one of the neat little labels on them. I love how it turned out after I used the scallopped circle to cut it out.

I used the snowflake-patterned strips as they are and added a single little white snowflake as well. For a different texture I also used a silvery chipboard snowflake. It is so much fun to use corrugated cardboard for giftwrapping as it will almost always turn out looking rustic and decorative. It is also such a great way to recycle something you would otherwise throw away. :-)

Hej och välkomna till vecka 2 av hur vi kan använda de fina papprena som du kan ladda ner helt gratis från Sizzix hemsida. En länk finns i produktlistan på slutet.

Denna veckan har vi fokuserat på att göra fina inslagningar och tags. Det har jg också gjort och här är resultatet:

Jag använde några av mina favorit dies för ögonblicket. 'Circles scallop' kommer med på de flesta av mina projekt just nu, och ska jag göra något vinter/jul relaterat så är en av de första jag använder  'Winter Borders and Rosette' av den duktiga Paula Pascual.

Som jag sa så använde jag gratis papprena för mina paket och den lilla snöflingan med blå bakgrund är ett av de söta motiven att klippa ut.


Jag använde de tryckte stripen med snöflingor som de är och la till en extra liten snöflinga i vitt. För att få lite extra textur använde jag en färdig silvrig chipboard snöflinga. Jag tycker det är jättekul att använd wellpapp för att slå in paket. Det ser så härligt rustikt ut och det är dessutom ett bra sätt att återanvända något som kanske annars skulle hamnat i soptunnan. ;-)
