For You Card

Hi All,

Winter Fun

Hi All!

Daria is here. And today I would like to show you a layout about winter. In our region we have a lot of snow and cold wind. But we love winter, snow, skiing, skates and of course sleigh.

 I cut hearts using Hearts, Primitive #3 die. And I used not only the hearts but the hole too.

Сегодня я хочу показать страничку об одном из наших любимых зимних развлечений. Я живу на Урале и зимой у нас бывает довольно холодно, но мы всё-равно любим это время года, т.к. можно кататься на лыжах и коньках, и конечно же на санках! 

Для создания сердечек я использовала нож Hearts, Primitive #3. И приклеила на страничку не только сами сердечки, но и получившееся после вырезания отверстие. Салфетку и оленят я вырезала из кальки. Это мой любимый прием, потому что он придает вырезанным элементам легкость и воздушность.

Сегодня я с новой страничкой о моей дочке. Мне очень нравится цветовая гамма, которую я использовала для создания этой работы. 

А еще, когда мне не хватает бумаги нужно оттенка, или хочется добавить какие-то детали, но цветовая палитра исчерпала себя, я добавляю прозрачный или полупрозрачный веллум (кальку). И тогда появляется возможность добавить новые слои, вырезав различные фигурные элементы.

Art Journal

Today I would like to show you a new art journal. I made it for one of my scrap-friends. I hope she will love this art journal and will create a lot of gorgeous mixed media projects.

I made the inner sheets from watercolor papers. Сover I made using cotton fabric. To add different shapes on the cover, I cut these shapes using dies (also from cotton fabric). I sewed them onto the cover using a sewing machine. Then I used white acrylic paint and different sprays with stencils. After paint dried, I outline the edges of the shapes using PITT Artist Pens.

This is back side of art journal.

Сегодня я хочу показать новый арт-журнал, который я сделала в подарок одной из своих скрап-подруг. Его размер А5. 

Арт-журнал сделан с нуля, внутренние листы у него из бумаги для черчения, мягкая обложка. Разные интересные формы для обложки я вырезала с помощью ножей Sizzix. Так же я использовала краску, трафареты и спреи для придания законченного вида обложке.

Mixed-Media Cover For Album

Daria is here. 

Today I would like to share a mixed-media cover for my new album. I started create album about me and I needed a cover. I used different cute things that I found at home (such as washers, bottle caps, parts of old clocks and etc.) and of course different dies.

I used Lace die to create more layers. I used Flowers dies to create beautiful flowers. And I used Gear die to create chipboard gear.

Also I used sprays, gesso, textured paste, alcohol inks, felt ribbon, resist canvas and etc.

Сегодня я с обложкой для моего нового альбома. Альбом будет обо мне. И для кого как не для себя можно постараться и сделать что-то эдакое. Поэтому я решила сделать обложку в стиле микс-медиа, с использованием всяких штучек, что нашла дома и в строительном магазине (такие как шайбы, пластины, детали старых часов, крышки от бутылок и т.д.). Ну  и конечно не обошлось без ножей Sizzix.

Так же я использовала спреи, гессо, текстурную пасту, фетровую ленту, холст, пуговицы и т.д. В общем творила от души! :)

To make my layout more textured I cut borders using Venice and Flower Garden w/Scallops dies. I glued them onto my layout. I used spray all over these elements. And I outline the edges of the borders  after sprays dried.

Also I used Tiny Tabs & Tags die to cut tag and tab.
I love different banners. I cut triangle banners using Banners #2 dies and I made arrows from these banners.

Сегодня я со страничкой.

Для создания этой странички я использовала бордюры Venice и Flower Garden w/Scallops. Мне нравится использовать бордюры, т.к. мне кажется они добавляют фактурность в работу. Я побрызгала поверх них спреем, и после высыхания обвела края.  Так же я использовала нож Tiny Tabs & Tags, чтобы вырезать тег и таб (в окошке таба стоит дата). Еще я использовала один из любимых (в последнее время) наборов Banners #2. Я вырезала с его помощью треугольные баннеры, и сделала из них стрелочки.

Cover for Art Journal

I love to paint, I love mixed-media and I love hand made things. That is why I decided to make an art journal by myself. I made the inner sheets from watercolor papers. Сover I made using cotton fabric.

To add different shapes on the cover, I cut these shapes using different dies (also from cotton fabric). I sewed them onto the cover using a sewing machine.

Then I used white acrylic paint and different sprays with stencils. After paint dried, I outline the edges of the shapes using PITT Artist Pens.

Art journal is ready. It size is 22*30 cm.

Сегодня я хочу показать обложку для моего арт-журнала, который я сделала сама. Я люблю рисовать, люблю делать коллажи, и люблю вещи ручной работы. Поэтому я и захотела себе сделать журнал сама, для своих же рисунков и экспериментов.
Для внутренних листов я взяла бумагу для акварели и сшила ее в блок. Для обложки я взяла тонкий картон, синтепон и разные кусочки хлопка. Я сшила обложку, а затем, чтобы добавить на нее разные формы, навырезала фигурные элементы с помощью Big Shot (так же из ткани). После чего пришила все элементы на обложку.
Затем я использовала разные трафареты с белой акриловой краской и спреями. После того как краска высохла, я обвела все элементы с помощью маркеров PITT Artist Pens.
Теперь осталось только вклеить внутренний блок в обложку и журнал готов. У меня он размером 22*30 см. Не маленький, правда? :)

Quick´n´Easy: baby girl mini album cover by Janna Werner.

Hello there, this is Janna. Today I´d like to share a mini album with you, especially the cover. A lot of my friends are pregnant at the moment or just gave birth to a beautiful child. Therefore I thought I´d create a few baby mini albums in advance - you never know when you might need a small present ;) I used the new Big Shot, just love the new design (matches my craft room much better ;) ).

Now, let´s have a closer look at the mini album cover :)

I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Textured Impressions English Botanical die. Then I added a few spritzers of turquoise spray to create a  playful and happy look.

Afterwards I cut a circle shape out of the cardstock, using one of the dies that come along in the Framelits Circles set. I glued a piece of patterned paper behind the white cardstock to add a title to the album. Then I bent the top edges - one to the inside, the other to the outside - to let the album cover appear softer. Instead of folding the edges sharply, I decided to roll them as this lets the cover appear more "girly". Also, the swirls in the embossing die add to the feminine look.

I added a few highlights on the inside, like tags, paper doilies and a clip. The flower and the sticker on top were attached with hot glue, just to make sure they won´t fall off.
As you can see, even a cover that was created within a few minutes can look very nice, happy and artsy. It does not always have to take hours to create a fantastic mini album.

Hallo, hier ist Janna. Heute möchte ich euch ein Mini Album zeigen, genauer gesagt das Cover des Albums. Viele meiner Freundinnen sind gerade schwanger oder haben kürzlich ein Kind zur Welt gebracht. Daher habe ich beschlossen, ein paar Baby Mini Alben vorzubereiten, man weiß ja nie, wann man mal ein kleines Geschenk braucht ;) Ich habe die neue Big Shot, verwendet das überarbeitete Design gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut (passt auch besser zu meinem Arbeitszimmer ;) ).

Oben seht ihr die Detailaufnahmen des Covers.

Ich habe ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit der Textured Impressions English Botanical Die geprägt. Dann habe ich mit türkisfarbenem Spray Kleckse aufgetragen, um dem Ganzen ein verspieltes und fröhliches Aussehen zu verleihen.

Anschließend habe ich aus dem Cardstock einen Kreis ausgestanzt, dafür habe ich eine der Dies aus dem Framelits Circles Set genutzt. Hinter die Ausstanzung habe ich ein Stück Patterned Paper geklebt, das den Titel des Albums bildet. Die beiden oberen Ecken habe ich gebogen - eine nach innen, die andere nach außen. So wirkt das Cover weicher. Statt die Kanten scharf umzuknicken habe ich sie gerollt, das sieht etwas "mädchenhafter" aus. Das feminine Aussehen wird auch durch die geschwungenen Linien der Embossing Die betont.

Innendrin habe ich ein paar Highlights angebracht wie Tags, Papier-Doilies und Clips. Die Blume und den Aufkleber auf der Vorderseite habe ich mit Heißkleber befestigt, damit garantiert nichts abgeht. 
Wie man sieht, kann man auch innerhalb von ein paar Minuten ein tolles und fröhliches Cover herstellen. Es bedarf nicht immer stundenlanger Arbeit, um ein schönes Mini Album herzustellen.
