Mixed media card

For today`s post I made a little bit different card than usually, mixed media card with beautiful flowers made by Sizzix dies.

I cut the backgroundpaper and made mixed media background using different colors of mists. After drying I used some cement board seam tape and gauze. Then I cut the chevron and all the flowers from different colors of papers and leaves. Finally placed them all like above.

Ensiksi leikkasin taustapaperin ja tein siihen "mixed miédia" taustan käyttäen erivärisiä suihkeita. Kun se oli kuivunut, laitoin pari suikaletta saumausnauhaa ja harsoa koristeeksi. Kukat ja lehdet leikkasin erivärisistä papereista Sizzixin stansseilla ja lopuksi asettelin ja liimasin paikoilleen.

This card is cabinet model, you can make the size you like.  Cut the two bigger backgroundpapers  size you like, the smallest one usind die from the set Sizzix Framelits Die Set 12PK - Fancy Cards 659967 . Cut the butterflies using Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 8PK - Butterflies, Intricate 659971 and make them finished. Finally place these all together like above:)

This card is also really simple and quockly to make:) Use only the dies from the set  Sizzix Framelits Die Set 6PK - Enchanted 659702  to cut papers and place them like above:) The border behind the frames are cut by myself. Finally make a bow and glue it on to the card and suitable sentiment if you like.

Cut the backgroundpapers, other paper smaller and place them like above. Cut the flowers ( Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 14PK - Flowers Intricate 659975) and leaves ( Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 5PK - Estelle 659703 ) using SIZZIX dies. Make the flowers finished and glue them all together on to the card. Finally place the borger and sentiment.

Hello my friends:)  Here is my new card I made. It`s really simply and quick to make:)

Cut the background size 11,5 cm × 16,5 cm. Cut also the "mesh" using one of the dies included set Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 3PK - Overall Patterns 659758 and glue/sew it on to the backgroundpaper. Cut some stripes and take few paper pieces ( I have used pieces of cut patterns because I save everything!!)
Place them like aboce, cut the butterfly and glue it. Finally place the sentiment.

Hello to everyone:) Here is my newest card where I have used a one of my favourite die, Snowflakes.

corrugated cardboard, white cardboard, page  of the book, glue, tape

 The card is size 10 cm × 15 cm. I have sewn all the edges and inked them with Distress Ink Walnut Stain.  Snowflakes are cut using die  Sizzix Bigz Die - Snowflakes #3 659994 . Cut them both white cardboard and corrugated cardboard. Finally place these all together like above.

Merry Christmas tag

Today its my turn to show you something I have done using Sizzix products:) It`s still not too late to make season`s greetings card so I made this tag to give my friend.

cardboard, glue, tape, flowers

Cut the tag size 17 cm × 9 cm and cover it with patterned paper (a little bit smaller than tag). Cut the image using die from the set Sizzix Framelits Die Set 6PK - Enchanted 659702 glue it on to the white cardboard and cut the lines using scissors. Cut also some other papers usind dies from the same set and few leaves using die Sizzix Bigz Die - Tattered Leaves 656927 .
Place all the papers like above, glue the flowers and leaves, seam binding ribbon bow and greeting.

Hello to all and happy Wednesday:) Today I show you this gift idea I made using a  one great Sizzix die.

How to do:
Cut a piece of the empty can and then the flowers, three bigger and one small using die
Sizzix Bigz Die - Floressa 659708. Glue the flowers like above and then button. Finally glue the flower on to the chain. That`s all:)

Christmas Challenge 2014 - Tree Decorations



Hello to all:) This week we have a theme "Tree Decorations". I like recycling so I used some old pages for this decoration. What a more, this is really quick to do:)

Sizzix products:

Sizzix Bigz Die - Heart Pendant 659244



 Take six pages and cut the hearts out using die Sizzix Bigz Die - Heart Pendant 659244 . The pages are so thin that you can cut all the siz at the same time. Emboss all the frame hearts randomly using embossing folder "Snowflake" or other suitable. You can also skip this if yo want:)
After embossing place all the six hearts and frames one on the other and sew them together like in the picture. Finally open the pendant and hang up!

Hello to everyone:) Here is my card for this week`s  Christmas Challenge, themed by cardmaking. I have used wonderful free festive papers which you can download HERE.

Papers; free festive papers, tape, glue, baker twine

Cut the background paper (blue striped) size  12 cm × 16 cm. Cut also the other patterned paper size 9 cm × 12 cm and sew this on to the white cardboard sized little bit bigger and then tape on to the background. Cut the ornaments using dies included set Sizzix Triplits Die Set 9PK - Ornaments 659929 . Make them ready with baker twines and glue on to the card like above. Sew the card on to the white cardboard and fold the twines between these two papers before sewing the edge:) Finally cut the sentimetn out included free festive papers.

Ompele kortti valkoiselle kartongille ja taita narut näiden papereiden/kartonkien väliin ennenkuin ompelet yläreunan. Lopuksi leikkaa teksti tulostetuista papereista.

Butterfly tag

Hello my crafting friends:) Here is a  one tag I made to show you. I really like the recycling and the backgroung of this card is made using a piece of old cardboard box.

Pion Design papers; Siri`s Kitchen, seam binding ribbon, "sewing" stamp, black ink, glue, tape,  cardboard brown.

Cut the tag out from brown cardboard, f.e. old box. Size is approximately 15 cm × 9,5 cm. Cut also the patterned paper at same size and tape it on to the tag.
Cut the butterflies (three different sizes) using set Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 8PK - Butterflies, Intricate 659971 and glue them on to the tag. Stamp the sentiment and cut out using stamp and die included set Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK w/Stamps - Hello 659464 . Finally glue the ribbon bow and stamp the edges.

Cut the cardboad to size 10 cm × 14 cm and apply gesso, allow to dry. Paint with Distress Paint and allow to dry. After that make the ornament using your stencil and gesso, when dried stamp the dots and edges.
Cut the wire, flowers and borders using Sizzix dies and place all together like picture above.

Leikkaa kartonki kokoon 10 cm × 14 cm ja levitä gessoa siihen, anna kuivua. Maalaa pohjaan Peeled Paintilä ja anna kuivua. Tee kuviot sabluunalla ja gessolla. Kun tämä on kuivunut leimaa pisteet ja ompeleet korttiin.Lopuksi leikkaa verkko, kukat ja reunat Sizzixin stansseilla ja asettele kuten kuvassa.

Hello to all:) It`s never too late to start making Christmas and Happy New Year greetings cards, so here is a one of my, a tag.

Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Borders & Flowers Set 659964

Other items:
Pion Design papers Silent Night, vintage image, white cardboard
embossing powders;Silver and Snowflake, watermark stamp pad, embossing heating tool
vintage seam binding ribbon blue

Cut the tag out from the cardboard (size 16,5 cm × 8 cm) and patterned paper at same size, tape them together. Emboss the piece of paper using border folder included the set  Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Borders & Flowers Set 659964 , tape it on to the tag. Cut the snowflakes out from the cardboard using die Sizzix Bigz Die - Snowflakes #3 659994 and emboss them with powders.
Tape the image and snowflakes , glue the seam binding ribbon bow and finally greeting. That`s all:)

Kohokuvioi pala kuviopaperia kansiolla setistä Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Borders & Flowers Set 659964  ja kiinnitä kuvioitu paperi tagiin. Leikkaa lumihiutaleet kartongista stanssilla Sizzix Bigz Die - Snowflakes #3 659994  ja embossaa ne jauheilla. Teippaa kuva ja lumihiutaleet, liimaa saumanauharusetti ja lopuksi tervehdys. Siinä kaikki:)

Four little Christmas card

Hello to everyone:)  Today I like to show these four little Christmas card I made. They all are size 8 cm × 10 cm, suitable for any purpose:)

Other products:
Basic Grey papers; Wassail, white cardboard
tape, glue (paper mod podge)

How to do:
Cut the phrases and elements out from cardboard using dies from the sets  Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 9PK - Christmas Phrase Cards 659973 and Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 5PK - Christmas Trims #2 659913.
Cut pieces of patterned papers size 8 cm × 10 cm and glue the cut outs using mod podge. When dried tape the covers on to the cards.
Really easy and quick:)

Cut the ornaments using die Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 5PK - Card Front, Ornaments 659587 and emboss it using watermark stamp pad and embossing powder. Glue this on to the backgroundpaper size 15 cm × 15 cm. Cut also the sentimetn using the die included set Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 9PK - Christmas Phrase Cards 659973. 

Finally tape the card front on to the cardboard.

Cut the flower cards out from blue and pink papers, backgrounds from light patterned papers using dies from the set Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 6PK - Flower Cards 659974 , glue them together. Cut the patterned paper backgrounds (size 11 cm × 15 cm) , Emboss the words using folders Sizzix ShadowPress Debossing Folders 6PK - Authentic Set 659855 . Finally make the cards finished like above:)
