This is a page built around 4 small vertical pictures (colour and black & white).

I cut 2 different snowflake patterns out of black cardstock. As the snowflakes are quite large, I chose to glue them under my pictures, which still allows us to see their pattern!

I use the colour combo of my pictures to embellish my creation: mustard yellow, black and blue. Rhinestones, dots, labels and small strips of masking tape, for instance.

The Custom & Craft background paper will be colorized with Stabilo Pen68 felt-tip pens. Then I added some splashes, some stamped patterns and my page is almost done!

Simply add the title “Winter”, which is cut out of red cardstock from the Holiday Words – Script die set.

Une page composée autour de quatre petites photos verticales en couleur et noir & blanc.

J'ai découpé ici 2 flocons avec des dies différents dans du cardstock noir. Etant donné leur taille assez imposante, j'ai choisi de les coller sous mes photos sans pour autant les cacher !

J'ai repris les couleurs de mes clichés à savoir : jaune moutarde, noir et bleu pour décorer à l'aide de multiples embellissements tels des strass, des dots, étiquettes et petits morceaux de Masking Tape.

Le papier de fond Custom & Craft sera colorisé avec des Stabilo Pen68, quelques éclaboussures, quelques tampons et ma page est pratiquement terminée !

Ajoutez simplement un titre “Winter” découpé dans du cardstock rouge grâce au die Holiday Words-Script.

These 3 little cards are very easy to realise. I’ve used paper scraps from my winter kit “Oh My Gold!”.

Cut rectangles size 11x16 cms & 13,5x15 cms out of pattern paper scraps. Then grab your Big Shot and cut words like “Winter”, and foliage or stars shapes.

Try to stick with seasonal patterns or words.

Print and trim labels & owls stamp patterns and play with contrast.

Glue the smaller elements with 3D foam adhesives.

Finish by adding small gold rhinestones here and there for a sparkling & bright touch!

Trois petites cartes très simples et très faciles à réaliser avec des chutes de mon kit Oh My Gold! Sur le thème de l'hiver.

Découpez des rectangles dans des chutes de papiers imprimés au format 11x16cm et 13,5x15,cm.

Sortez ensuite votre Big Shot et découpez des mots comme ici “ Winter”, des feuillages ou encore des étoiles.

Essayez de découper des formes ou des mots relatifs à la saison.

Tamponnez et découpez ensuite des tampons étiquettes ou hibou et jouez avec les contrastes. Montez les plus petits éléments en 3D avec des mousses autocollantes.

Terminez avec des petits strass dorés collés ici et là pour apporter une touche de brillance et d'éclat !

This is a very easy lay-out to create, with two horizontal pictures of the same size. A touch of whimsy is brought thanks to the right amount of gold elements (doily, twine and the My Mind’s Eye pattern paper).

The word NOEL (so happy to have a French word now in my favourite dies) is cut out of kraft cardstock. It is so thin that you may want to glue it with a spray or a stick.

I enjoyed using this pretty knot cut out of white cardstock. It brings volume and is a symbol that makes us remember about the numerous pretty presents that will be waiting for us under the Christmas tree this year!

Une page toute simple à réaliser avec deux photos horizontales de même format. La petite touche fantaisie est ajoutée ici par le judicieux dosage de dorure ( napperon, cordelette or et le papier imprimé My Mind's Eye.

Le mot NOEL, yes ! Enfin un petit mot français chez mes petits dies chéris ! Celui-ci est découpé dans du cardstock kraft, il est tellement fin que je vous conseille d'utiliser de la colle en bombe ou baton pour le fixer.

Je me suis faite plaisir avec ce joli noeud découpé dans du cardstock blanc, du volume et un symbole pour rappeler les nombreux jolis cadeaux qui seront je l'espère au pied de mon sapin cette année !

Here is the latest mini book I created and taught during the EntreARTistes cropping party last week-end! It is made of colours, neon touches, cardstock, watercolour and Sizzix dies! What a nice program, don’t you think?
I really enjoy using “word” dies like Hello or Love without moderation. Here, they are cut out of white and black cardstock.
The 3D flower die is cut out of white cardstock then entirely shaded with neon pink Izink pigments. The paper must be completely dry before you create the flower shape. Let me give you an advice: start by the outer edge and finish by fixing your flower on its base with liquid glue.

Now time for pictures of my project with detailed and zoomed images!

Voici mon dernier mini présenté en formation EntreARTistes le week end dernier ! De la couleur, du fluo, du cardstock, de l'aquarelle et des découpes Sizzix ! Un beau programme n'est ce pas !

Je raffole des dies mots comme le Hello ou le Love que j'utilise sans modération ici découpés dans du cardstock noir & blanc.

La découpe 3D fleur est quant à elle découpée dans du cardstock blanc, puis entièrement teinte aux pigments Izink rose fluo. Attendez que le papier soit entièrement sec pour former vos formes. Un petit conseil, commencez par l'extérieur et terminez en fixant votre fleur sur le socle avec de la colle liquide.

Place maintenant aux visuels avec quelques zooms de mon projet !

Have fun cutting loads of rosettes to create your own Christmas decorations! I cut my first shape out of white cardstock; it is glued with double-sided tape. At the back, a little gold thread is glued so that it could be hung to the Christmas tree. The embellishments have to be minimalist and light so as to hang properly.

Instead of using a star at the top of the tree, I cut a large snowflake out of gold cloth. Its center is decorated with a Freckled Fawn badge.

Little golden bows and pink snowflakes will come as a completion.

We only have a week left to wait before decorating the Christmas Tree! I’ll be cutting out die cuts while waiting for this moment :-)

Usez et abusez des rosettes pour fabriquer vos propres décorations de Noël ! J'ai découpé ma première forme dans du cardstock blanc, elle est fixée avec du double face. Au dos un petit lien doré est collé pour pouvoir accrocher ma décoration au sapin. Les embellissements se doivent d'être minimalistes et légers pour tenir.

En guise d'étoile qui sera fixée en haut tout en haut du sapin, j'ai découpé un grand flocon dans du tissu doré. Le centre est décoré avec un badge Freckled Fawn.

Des petits noeuds dorés et des flocons roses viendront compléter ma décoration.

Plus qu'une semaine à attendre et nous ferons le sapin ! En attendant je continue mes découpes :)

Christmas week 3 with Lilith

This week's theme is Tree Decorations. I have made many decorations in the past and really wanted to make something different. I decided to tweak the theme a bit and I made a decoration by not for the tree. (naughty me). I also wanted the project to be quick and this one was SUPER FAST but I really love the end result. All you need is a water glass (I used a wide one), some embroidery thread and the Sizzix Let it Snow thinlits die.  

 Just cut out the design, add some thread to recreate scarves for the snowmen and adhere it to your glass. Pop in a candle, light it and voilà. A pretty feature to add to your decorations or on the dinner table.

Let it Snow thinlits die, embroidery thread, glass, candle, glue. 

Oh and just a reminder NEVER leave candles unsupervised. They are beautiful and add lots of ambiance but can also be dangerous. Have a wonderful week.
