For the middle butterfly I used the butterfly die from the bigz die

Be happy and enjoy set

Hi Sizzix friends!

It’s Friday again so Raquel is here. The project I want to show you today is a smart set that consists in a card and an open box to keep some sweets inside. Let me show this cute set...

To create this set I’ve used my Big Shot Plus and the starter kit, the trellis embossing folder, the Be happy die, the leaf die and the ticket Framelit. I have chosen neutral colours for this set that it could be perfect for a man as for woman.

The box:

This open box was perfect to create a beautiful package that keeps the sweets inside a burlap bag. To decorate the box I’ve die-cut a ticket label, stamped a positive message and added a die-cut leaf.

Here are some steps of the process:

I’ve die-cut the box, but not the cover, in dark brown. Then I’ve die-cut the ticket label and the leaf, cut the corrugated cardstock -5mm smaller than each face of the box and then I’ve glued all the parts together.

The card:

I’ve modified the order of the colours but I’ve used the same dies to create the set.

I’ve used the trellis embossing folder to create this beautiful background, I’ve die-cut the ticket label and die-cut also the Be happy on it. As I wanted to use the same elements as in the box, I’ve also die-cut the leaves in white colour.

I love this neutral colour combination that gives to the set a smart result.

I have used the following Sizzix products:

I hope you liked this cute set and that it has given you a bit of inspiration. Thank you for your visit!

Have a creative and happy Friday!

He utilizado los siguientes productos Sizzix:

Feliz y creativo viernes.

"Hello Sunshine" Card by Gerry van Gent

Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!

Today I am sharing with you a card I created for not a
particular occasion - it was simply fun to create a window
card by using the Circles framelits dies.
660515 Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit
660804 Sizzix thinlits Die Set Happiness Phrases
660500 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Intricate Tribal Florals
659573 Sizzix Sizzlits Dec. Strip Die Spring Greenery
657551 Sizzix Framelits Die Set Circles
656551 Sizzix Bigz Die Birds
*       *       *

After die cutting a circle in the middle of my double card
I began decorating it by adding first the bird.
After that I adhered the Happiness Phrases -
these are attached to the card only by the ends.
Then I added the layered flower and the Spring Greenery .

I used two sorts of the Intricate Tribal Florals to create my flowers.

The Bird was die cut from corrugated cardboard and pattern paper.
In this way it makes it steady and dimensional.

Thank you for visiting us today!
Have a creative Sunday!

Mini Book Photos

Hello Everyody!

Today, I suggest a mini realized in a workshop at Betheny, near my home!

This mini is based on a file filled with pretty layouts, realized thanks to the Big Shot Plus, its dies and its embossing plates!

I used the "Hello" die of Craft Asylum in a mint coloured foam to put it into relief.

I played with the materials by choosing some crepe paper and fabric, in which I have cut hearts using the die from the Big Shot Plus starter kit.

I didn't resist using several times in this mini album my favourite die of the moment: the pretty openwork flower of the Big Shot Plus starter kit.

For my tags decoration (slid in pockets), I used the Brenda Walton and Rachael Bright embossing plates with white Bazzill paper.

The die "Sunshine" was ideal for the theme of my mini, because I scrapped pictures of girls posing on the beach of Arcachon last summer.

I created a small banner with triangles cut with the Craft Asylum die: you just have to stick the cut triangles next to each other and overlap them slightly.

I also wanted to add relief by using the brows die which I cut in a fabric. The result is amazing!

I created my own embellishments: Using my typewriter and a classic tracing paper, I wrote simple words in keeping with my theme.

Then I used this paper with the flower and foliage die of the Big Shot Plus starter kit. There is how to give transparency, relief and a home-made touch to your design.

That's it for today, good day to you all!

Have a good day and see you soon

Mini Photos
