Hocus Pocus!

Hi there,

today I wish you a happy Halloween and I would like to show you today a nice table decoration for tonight.

I used my Big Shot for the die cuts, natural & black cardstock, some green glitter paper, pattern paper and some skeletal leaves from our florist.

  I bought some pumpkins and put on the leaves with hot glue.

Also the black, scary cat, the witch hat and the bat I fixed with hot glue.

Zombie Eyes

Hey guys, 

after showing you some christmas cards the last weeks, I have a really easy halloween card for you. You just need your watercolors, white cardstock and a brush. :) And of course, the Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine Only (White & Gray) #660020 and the Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles #657551.

1. Draw some circles in different colors and very important: BE MESSY. These will be the zombie eyes for our card. Let it dry!
2. Now use black watercolor to add the pupil of the eyes. I made some circles and stripes in different sizes. This looks more spooky! ;)
3. Cut them out with your Big Shot Plus and put them onto your card. I decided to place a fun sentiment between them.

That´s it! :)

The fun fact about this card is, that you just imagine zombie eyes on this card at the second sight. My husband was like "oh, what a beautiful pattern" and than he realized what it really was. ;)

I hope I could inspire you to create your own spooooooky cards. :)

Crazy and funny Halloween

Hi everybody!

I love Tim Holtz Crazy Birds, and with the special die cuts for those stamps, the new complements stamps and die cuts, we have thousand of new possibilities.

With all this, I couldn't avoid making some candy gifts for halloween

Me encantan los Crazy Birds de Tim Holtz, y con los troqueles especiales para estos sellos, los nuevos sellos de complementos y sus troqueles, tenemos miles de nuevas posibilidades.

Con todo esto, no pude evitar preparar algunos regalos dulces para Halloween

Uno de mis Crazy birds recibió una sesión de maquillaje especial de Halloween.

Bat Treat Box

 Hi friends!

Today we use our Big Shot to make a simple box of sweets for Halloween.

You need:

• your Big Shot
• Box Die, I used the Thinlits Plus Die Set of Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit, you can also us the Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Block/Cube/Bank, 3-D
• black cardstock
• googly eyes
• bi-adhesive tape
• white paper

Cut the box with your box die and assemble using the bi-adhesive tape.

Use the box as a guide to draw bat wings from the right size, cut and stick it behind the box.

Cut two elongated triangles and paste it behind the box to make the horns. Cut two small triangles and paste inside of the lid of the box, in the front, to make the tusks. Stick the eyes.

This box is perfect with the Halloween garland two weeks ago I showed you, not you think?

Oggi useremo la nostra Big Shot per fare una scatolina semplice per le caramelle e i dolciumi di Halloween

Materiali

• la vostra Big Shot
• una fustella per scatoline, io ho usato il Thinlits Plus Die Set del Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit, potete usare anche la Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Block/Cube/Bank, 3-D
• cartoncino nero
• nastro biadesivo
• occhietti mobili
• carta bianca

Tagliare la scatolina nel cartoncino nero usando la fustella e assemblare usando il nastro. Usare la scatolina come guida per disegnare le ali del pipistrello alla dimensione giusta, tagliare ed incollare sul dietro della scatolina.

Tagliare due triangoli allungati ed incollare sul dietro per fare le orecchie.

Tagliare due triangoli bianchi piccoli ed incollare dal lato interno del coperchio della scatola, sul fronte, per fare le zanne. Incollare gli occhietti.

Che ne pensate? Un'idea veloce e divertente per Halloween!

Hola amigos! Hoy usaremos nuestra Big Shot para hacer una cajita sencilla para los dulces de Halloween.

Materiales

• vuestra Big Shot
• Un troquel de caja, yo usé el Thinlits Plus Die Set del Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit, también podéis usar el Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Block/Cube/Bank, 3-D
• cartulina negra
• celo de dos caras
• ojitos móviles
• papel blanco

Cortar la caja con el troquel y armar usando el celo. Usar la caja como guía para dibujar las alas del murciélago del tamaño justo, recortar y pegar por detrás de la caja.

Cortar dos triángulos alargados y pegar por detrás de la caja para hacer los cuernos.

Cortar dos triángulos blancos pequeños y pegar del lado interno de la tapa de la caja, en el frente, para hacer los colmillos. Pegar los ojos móviles.

Qué os parece? Una idea rápida y divertida para Halloween, hasta el próximo tutorial!

Spider Garland for Halloween

Hi friends!

 Today we will make a simple Spider Garland for Halloween, using two basic dies as the Circles and the Alphabet.

 I used these spiders to make a garland, but can also serve as cake toppers by hitting a stick, or to decorate whatever comes to mind.

You need:

• your Big Shot
• Sizzix Bigz XL Alphabet Die - Word Play
• Sizzix Bigz Die - Circles
• black cardstock
• glue stick 
• googly eyes 
• thread 
• Scotch tape 

Cut circles with our Big Shot and Circles Die, many circles as spiders want to do. I put cardboard for up to 6 at the same time to get 6 circles with a single cut. To make the legs I used the letter L of Alphabet Die, need 8 legs for spider .

 To make the spiders I glued four legs on each side of the circle on the back side, on the forward side glue the eyes. 

To mount the garland spiders, stick  on the thread with a piece of tape on the back side.

Oggi faremo una semplice ghirlanda di ragnetti per Halloween, usando due fustelle basiche come i cerchi e le lettere. Io ho usato questi ragni per fare una ghirlanda, ma si possono benissimo usare per fare dei simpatici cake toppers con un bastoncino incollato dietro, o qualsiasi altro uso vi venga in mente.

Materiali

• la vostra Big Shot
• Sizzix Bigz XL Alphabet Die - Word Play
• Sizzix Bigz Die - Circles
• cartoncino nero
• colla stick
• occhietti mobili
• cordone
• nastro

Tagliare dei cerchi con la nostra Big Shot, tanti quanti ragnetti volete fare. Io ho tagliato fino a 6 cartonicini tutti insieme. Per fare le zampe ho usato la lettera L della mia fustella Word Play, servono 8 zampe a ragno.

Per fare i ragni incollare 4 zampe ad ogni lato del cerchio, girare ed incollare gli occhietti. Per fare la ghirlanda, attaccare i ragni al cordone usando lo scotch.

Hola amigos!

 Hoy haremos una sencilla guirnalda de arañas para Halloween, usando dos troqueles básicos como el de círculos y el del alfabeto. Yo he usado estas arañas para hacer una guirnalda, pero también pueden servir como cake toppers pegándoles un palito, o para decorar cualquier cosa que se nos ocurra.

Materiales:

• tu Big Shot
• Sizzix Bigz XL Alphabet Die - Word Play
• Sizzix Bigz Die - Circles
• cartulina negra
• cola en barra 
• ojitos móviles
• cordón
• celo

Cortamos círculos con nuestra Big Shot y el troquel de círculos, tantos círculos como arañas queremos hacer. Yo he puesto hasta 6 cartulinas a la vez, para obtener 6 círculos con un solo corte. Para hacer las patas he usado la letra L del troquel alfabético, necesitamos 8 patas por araña.

 Para hacer las arañas pegamos cuatro patas de cada lado del círculo del lado de atrás, del lado de adelante pegamos los ojos. Para montar la guirnalda pegamos las arañas al hilo con un trozo de cinta por el lado de atrás.

Halloween

Hi there,

right now I am looking forward to the upcoming Halloween time.

This tradition is not very widespread in Germany, but in recent years it has been celebrated more and more.

For our neighbors' children, I have made small candy boxes. I have used the Sizzix Movers & Shapers XL The 'Bag with flap' and decorated the small boxes with the Sizzix Thinlits layering frames. Great small gifts and done so quickly by the Big Shot Plus :)

Paper: Tim Holtz - Laboratorie, Pion Design - Silent Night, black Bazzill, chipboard
Inks: Distress ink Paint - Black Soot, Distress Stain - Black Soot, Distress ink Pad - Black Soot. 
Other: Seam Binding Ribbon, Cheese cloth, Fran-Tàge - Silver, Tim Holtz idea-ology - ChitChat Seasonal, Distress Crackle Paint - Clear Rock Candy, Dylusions ink spray - Black Marble, mini clothespins

How to do:

Die cut the box in chipboard and patterned paper. Color the inside of the box with Distress Paint - Black Soot. Glue the box together and distress all the edges with Distress ink Pad - Black Soot.
Die cut border in black Bazzill and distress the edges with sandpaper. Color mini clothespins with Dylusions ink spray - Black Marble, let it dry. Color seam binding ribbon and cheese cloth with Distress Stain - Black Soot. 
Die cut mini Bat and glue these on mini clothespins. Add Distress Crackle Paint - Clear Rock Candy on the mini Bat. Let it dry.
Die cut the flower in patterned paper and distress the edges with Distress ink Pad - Black Soot 
Die cut twigs and glue it to the box. 
Emboss the box and flower with Fran-Tàge - Silver here and there.
Decorate the top of the box with cheese cloth, flower and seam binding ribbon...and some twigs.

Inside the box there is some secrets...... *lol*

Glue the border to the inside of the box ...

Halloween Bat Softie

Hi Everyone! This is Anna.

It's Friday which means it's Sizzix project on the UK blog!

With Halloween just around the corner, Sizzix come up trumps with plenty of items and ideas for you.

Today I have been playing with my felts, fabrics and two of the Sizzix dies. I thought I'd do a little bat for Halloween, but I didn't know how to create the wings. I' ve got an idea: use the tree shape Sizzix Bigz Die - Christmas Trees, 3-D (658754)!!!

These bats are surprisingly quick to make so I hope you’ll enjoy the project! :)

I had the idea for this one, based on my chicks, and I couldn’t resist making it too!

If you'd like to make one of these, I've put together some brief instructions here:

Items used:

Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit (658300) machine + dies
Sizzix Bigz Die - Christmas Trees, 3-D (658754)
Sizzix Bigz Die - Owl #2 (657694)

black or grey felt
white and pink felt scraps
scraps of fabric to decorate
black buttons
polyester stuffing
sewing machine & basic sewing supplies (scissors, thread, needle, etc.)
hot glue



How to make:

1- Begin to cut out the pieces of your bat using Bigz Die - Owl #2 (657694). Cut out also two circles for eyes with die of Starter kit and the bat wings with Bigz Die - Christmas Trees, 3-D (658754) and cut out a little white star to make two teeth.
Make sure you cut two pieces for the bat's body and for the eyes and the wings, too.
2- Now it's time to sew! We'll begin with the eyes, sew the outline. Sew the buttons and the teeth.
3- Now it's time to sew our little bat together. Take a wing, trap it between the pieces for the front and the back, and pin it. Now do the same to other wing.
Sew around the edge of the bat, leaving a gap at the bottom.
4- Stuff the bat with fluff. Sew together the gap. Then add the heart.

And, there you have it! You are ready to celebrate Halloween without much hassle! Isn't this so cute? It is perfect as a gift for kids.

Ciao! Ecco un nuovo appuntamento con Anna.

Halloween è proprio dietro l'angolo e Sizzix vi offre un sacco di fustelle e di idee per questa magica festa. Così oggi ho deciso di affrontare questo tema giocando con feltro, stoffa e due fustelle Sizzix.

Avevo pensato di fare dei piccoli pipistrelli per i miei nipoti da regalare per Halloween, un po' come avevo fatto per i miei pulcini, ma non sapevo bene come creare le ali. Poi all'improvviso l'illuminazione! Ecco l'idea di utilizzare la forma dell'albero di Natale della fustella Sizzix Bigz Die - Christmas Trees, 3-D (658754)! Questi pipistrelli sono sorprendentemente veloci da fare quindi spero vi piacerà il progetto :)

Se volete farne uno, qui di seguito trovate le brevi istruzioni e qui sopra anche le foto di alcuni passaggi.

Materiali:

Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit (658300) machine + dies

Sizzix Bigz Die - Christmas Trees, 3-D (658754)

Sizzix Bigz Die - Owl #2 (657694)

feltro nero o grigio

ritagli di feltro bianco, fucsia

ritagli di stoffa per decorazioni

bottoni neri differenti

ovatta sintetica

macchina da cucire + necessario per cucito (filo, ago ecc)

colla a caldo

Procedimento:

1 - Iniziare a tagliare i pezzi del vostro pipistrello utilizzando la Bigz Die - Owl # 2. Tagliare anche due cerchi per gli occhi, con la fustella bigz dello Starter kit e tagliare le ali di pipistrello con Sizzix Bigz Die - Christmas Trees, 3-D (658754) e con la stessa fustella tagliare anche una piccola stella bianca per fare i dentini. Assicuratevi di tagliare due pezzi per il corpo del pipistrello e due per gli occhi e le ali.

2 - Ora è il momento di cucire! Inizieremo con gli occhi: cucire il contorno del cerchio bianco con filo in contrasto e poi cucire il cerchio interno (fucsia o giallo). Cucire sopra i bottoni. Tagliare dalla stellina bianca due punte, che saranno i denti. Aggiungere i denti con piccoli punti (o colla a caldo).

3 - Ora è il momento di finire di cucire il nostro piccolo pipistrello. Prendete un ala, inserirla tra i due pezzi (anteriore e posteriore) e spillare assieme. Fare lo stesso per altra ala. Cucire lungo il bordo del pipistrello, lasciando un'apertura in fondo per l'imbottitura.

4 - Imbottire il pipistrello con l'ovatta sintetica. Cucire l'apertura. Quindi aggiungere il cuore con colla a caldo.

Ecco fatto! Ora siete pronti per festeggiare Halloween! Non sono carini? Sono perfetti come regalo per i bambini!
