Summer's gone!

Hi everybody!

A few days ago I was in Bouzigues (France) for a small farewell summer journey.

I love the sun light at the end of the summer, and the photos always are great in this season, so making a farewell summer Layout was required!

Here you can see some details of my layout, the white die cuts over a liquid watercolor background are always a great idea!!

This are the Sizzix products used in this project:

Be Happy!!

"You & Me = Selfie" by Gent van Gent

Hello Sizzix Friends!
Today I am sharing another layout which is part of our
Summer Vacation (2014) album. Love that selfie of hubby and I -
it has a special place in our family album :-)

For this layout I combined New & Old dies and of course I used one my
favourite paper punches by Sizzix - Butterfly, Large!
The colour combination is not the usual Summer colour combo -
it has to do with the country we were on vacation - Egypt :-)

"Do What You Love" Layout by Gerry van Gent

Hello Sizzix friends!
I hope you all have a lovely Sunday :-)

For my blog post today I created a layout featuring new Sizzix dies
and the brand new Sizzix Paper Punch "Butterfly" by Tim Holtz.
Punches are soon available in your local retailer!

NEW 660481 Sizzix Thinlits Die Do What You Love
NEW 660500 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Intricate Tribal Florals
NEW 660159 Sizzix Paper Punch Butterfly, Large
660222 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Scribbles & Splat

I have die cut multiple times all dies so I can layer flowers and florals.

Be sure to use foam tape/squares if you want to create more dimension!

The NEW Butterfly paper punch is amazing!
Easy to use and easy to store - there is a locking latch!
You can punch various materials as cork, vellum, craft metal/plastic,
flexible magnet, up to 3 sheets of cardstock, etc.
For my project I simply punched pattern paper.
Layered two butterflies and decorated with pearls.

Do What You Love thinlits die by Craft Asylum is one of
my favourites so far in this collection - not only beautiful with
its intricate design but also so playful -
it gives you many opportunities to use the designs!

For my project I die cut multiple time the design using
different colours cardstock - I used the quote separately!

OTHER PRODUCTS USED:
Prima Marketing pattern paper
cardstock
pearls

Notebook

Hello there,
Today I want to show you another SIZZIX Thinlits Die which is now available:

The Thinlits Die is so versatile. I cut it out several times and used many different colors of paper. Then I reassembled the small single parts to a colorful flower. Even the "waste pieces" are wonderfully suitable for new creations of small flowers.

Do you like this die as much as me?
I wish you a nice weekend!
