Stick Binding Autumn Leaves

Hi there,
today I want to show you my last workshop project from this week in a studio for people with and without handicaps.
It is a great studio project where people are mutually supportive.

I started this week with a Stick Binding workshop. I thought it ist a great idea because the natural materials fit perfectly to this season.

I chose strong watercolor cardboard for the book cover and walnut paper, sisal, felt, handmade paper,  yarn, some wooden sticks and some charms for decoration.

I have presented the big shot to the participants and we had cut out with the gorgeous fall foliage by Tim Holtz the different materials like thin wood, handmade papers and also felt.

Items I used:

SIZZIX BigZ Die w/Folder - Layered Leaf by Tim Holtz #660039

It was a very simple bookbinding, so we had enough time to decorate the book.
I showed the watercolor technic with ink from inkpads on acrylblocks with water to the participants -
a quick and effective technique.

We also had time to create an autumn card.
We used again watercolor paper, corrugated paper, clear stamps and a piece of glitter paper.

I wish you a lovely weekend!

Pillow Box

Hi there,

I often need little gift packs for my friends, because I like it very much,
to present gifts in decorative packaging.
The weather here in Germany becomes more and more cold.
So today,  I chose some frosty colored cardstocks for my Pillow Box.

Items I used:

Since the fall slowly merges into the winter now, the packaging look a bit "chilly"...;)

I hope you like that idea. Have a lovely and creative weekend.

Gift Boxes

Hi there,
I love the new gift box dies in plus size and it was so difficult to take a choice to start with.
So today I take two of them.

This is one of my favorite paper designs. It is from Create Paper, Bliss Collection.
It is some years old but still wonderful.

I used just a little bit yarn and ribbon, Cardstock for the tags and some eyelets.
I thought he paperdesign and eye-catching packaging form need no more decoration.

I hope you will like it and wish you a lovely weekend.

Gift Wrapping

Hi there,

today it's celebration time again :)
I show you the birthday present for a very good girlfriend of mine. She likes decorations in black and white.
I found this wonderful plate with the serviette box for her.

Of course, the packaging must be also in black and white!
I choose the Intricate Garden Flower for this gift wrapping.

Items I used:
Black, White and red Cardstock
Gluedots & Mini Brads

I wish you a lovely weekend!

Gift Wrapping

Hi there,

Last week I had shown you a birthday card and today I show you the gift. The birthday celebration was beautiful and the birthday boy was very happy about the package.

I used for this gift wrapping:

First I print out the names of the spicies. I told you, the birthday boy likes to cook :)
First I cut out the printouts with the Thinlits Layering Frames and two boxes with the box Die out of the starter kit (Big Shot Plus).

From one box I cut a lid and decorated all with the Layering Frames.

I found a nice box from wooden with vintage style and put all together with the Birthdaycard with the Vintage Scale.
So I think it looks together very well.

I hope you enjoy and I wish you a lovely weekend!

Vintage Scale - Birthday Card

Hello there,

today it's Saturday and we are invited again to a Birthday party.
Our friend likes to cook and we bought a present with special spices. The gift Wrapping I will show you next week but today I would like to inspire you with the wonderful Dies from SIZZIX.

I used for this Card:

I created a watercolor background for the sentiment 'happy' and used for 'birthday' a piece of vellum and the Shadowpress Debossingfolder.

I cut out the Vintage Scale two times, first time with white cardstock and the second time, for more thickness, also with cardboard. After embossing the cardstock I fixed it together.

So next week I will show you the gift Wrapping to this card.
I hope you will like it and wish you a lovely weekend.

Halloween

Hi there,

right now I am looking forward to the upcoming Halloween time.
This tradition is not very widespread in Germany, but in recent years it has been celebrated more and more.

For our neighbors' children, I have made small candy boxes. I have used the Sizzix Movers & Shapers XL The 'Bag with flap' and decorated the small boxes with the Sizzix Thinlits layering frames. Great small gifts and done so quickly by the Big Shot Plus :)

Do you like the Halloween time just as much as I do?

Wish you a lovely Weekend.

Birthday Card

Hello there,

I hope you enjoy your weekend. Today I want to inspire you with the flowers Daisies from SIZZIX on a birthday card.

I think flower Dies you can never have enough. This one is so wonderful filigree.
I put it together with a brad or a eyelet. Both is really nice.

For this card I had used my Big Shot Plus, and the SIZZIX BigZ Flower, Daisies # 654981.

I put few leaves in the background and punched one of the branches out of vellum.
The sentiment is in german language. 'Viel Glück' means ' Good Luck'.

I hope you will like it.
Have a lovely weekend!

Some little Presents

Hello there,
Today, me and my girlfriend Conny are on the way to a Girls weekend. We meet us in Aschaffenburg with all the members of the DesignTeam of a Shop owner who sells Scrapbooking stuff and of course also famous SIZZIX Products! So it is kind of tradition to bring a little something for each member.

I chose a wonderful ceramic tile for each girl. They could use it as a coaster for their coffee cups or a candle. I bought also one for me.... ok, I bought two for me ;)

I made a small box and created with my Big Shot Plus some cute tags with the
I like this tags 'cause they give me endless possibilities for different creations. The Set includes also some cupcake and giftbox dies for birthday creations, some trees and ornaments for christmas time, some flowers for spring and also lovely hearts for special persons.

For the tags I used: Different pattern paper, some glue dots and eyelets.
Very simple and it looks so nice!

I hope my girlfriends have other things to do than cruising through their blog list, because they get their presents until this evening....
What a pity if they already know what it is inside....;)

Have a lovely weekend!
