Leaves and twine

This card is not my traditional one as it's not often I stamp directly on the base, however I really enjoyed the outcome.
This is a set from Stampin Up. The sentiment as well.
Wrapped twine around a torn piece of solid cardstock. Cut out one of the stamped leaves and added random rhinestones here and there. This layout would also make a great masculine card.

Grateful using Lawn Fawn stitched leaves

I went to a scrapbooking convention and picked up the new Stitched Leaves Lawn Fawn set and made 11 various Thanksgiving cards. Inked the edges to give them dimension against different embossing folders.

Note of Thanks

Again - going through my saved pieces, I had a bunch of these leaves punched and the sentiment as well stamped.
I added them to a Cuttlebug swirl embossing mat.
The Sentiment and label are from Stampin' Up.
The Pumpkin, also already made from last fall in my stash, was created by using the oval punch from Stampin' Up punched three times and inked.

Thanksgiving Cricut style

As mentioned in my previous post, I am cleaning up my "saved" pieces and trying to use them in current projects.
Here I had the Pilgrim couple cut from my Cricut Cartridge A Child's Year (3") quite awhile ago and a bunch of the yellow ovals. Wonder why I punched so many ovals... so I inked the edge with brown and found a piece of tan paper and the little black brad too!
The only thing I had to use was the doily from Wilton (pack of 30 for $2.00) and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes.
The Pilgrims are raised on foam dimensionals from SU.

CCF Thankful Blog Hop

Welcome to our second Blog Hop with the Cricut Card Fairies.
We did one in September that was a school theme and this month is a thankful theme.

I am thankful for my family, my children, and my friends. We would like you to visit all blogs and comment along the way.
Crystal is our commander and you start there to get the listing if you have not already done so.
If you have followed along - you would have just come from blondemommy26
I am your last stop before you return to Crystal for a final comment.

Here are a couple things I made - a card and gift bag set.

Directions for the bag can be found here. (I made a Santa suit one below) You can decorate the front any way you like. I did this one to match the Pilgrim outfit. I think you can figure out the Pilgrim motif without directions.

I am giving away blog candy - to win - please follow my blog and leave a comment. I will pull a name for those who qualify. I've posted the candy picture below. There will be two winners of the cloth fabric stitched stickers. (You pick one from the set)

Enjoy - if you need the whole list of the hopper spots:
Here is the order in case you get lost along the way.

Thanksgiving card

This was a great sketch at Card Patterns to get me to use up my scraps!! I cleaned off my craft table a few nights ago and have a pile of pattern paper and card stock that is very huge. How did that happen. Well now I have a clean work surface and can get to crafting.
So I vow to make cards using my scraps and this card is the results:

Thanksgiving LO's finished

I was so happy to see my Snapfish order arrive yesterday also (with my DCRU order) that I could not wait to finish my LO's.

I used A Child Year Cricut Cartridge for the Pilgrim folks 3" (man) and 2 3/4" (female) and the title cut at 2"! Don't you love that font!?! The Turkey and pie and horn of plenty also cut at 3" from ACY as well.

A hunting for a turkey....

Well you can use your imagination :^).
I cut the card at 4 1/2" on blackout from Wild Card, the hat and musket are cut at 2" from, PDDU and Happy Thanksgiving is cut at 3" from Wild card Cricut cartridge.
I inked a little and hand cut the belt and buckle.

Mayflower thanks

I made this for The Pink Elephant challenge #41 to use this shape - I just so happen to have Wild Card Cricut cartridge and cut this at 4 1/2.

The Ship is cut at 3" from PPDU. Happy Thanksgiving is from Wild Card cut at 3"
I tore blue paper to resemble water.
Inked and doodled and raised the ship on foam squares.

A Whimsy Thanksgiving card

I entered into a challenge on http://scrappin-sheshe.blogspot.com/ she provided us the digi and we were to create a card with it.

I used Cuttlebug Herringbone folder for the back card stock and Offray ribbon and misc button to go with the front.

Inside I took the negative of a leaf cut and sponged into to give the subtle hint of a leaf. Added a little glitter pen to the sides for a shadow.

Thankfulness

I love how this card came out.... I used Accent Essentials cut at 3" which I ran only the botton throught the Autumn Cuttlebug folder.I cut the Pilgrims out of A Child's Year at 3" each and layers and inked.
The background card was embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder. Added pearls finish it off.
I am enterring this in a few challenges, Cuttlebug Challenges The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge # 55 : Give Thanks and what helped me based my cards was Glue, Scissors, Paper to usse the "top note" cut or die.

Thanksgiving card

Here is a card in which I used Stampin' stamps. By using a multitude of inks in a range of colors to create the realism of the leaf, I like the results
The sentiment was embossed.
Instead of ribbon - I stamped the paper and cut it into strips and slid it through the slit punch.
