I got in such a mess......

.....but loved every minute of it!! lol !!

I had seen this image a few weeks ago & fell totally in love with 'Miss Wings' another (gorgeous & so easy to colour) image from Stitchy Bear....



I decide to try & get the distressed look with this card...I just hope I haven't distressed it to much!

Operation Write Home!!!!

My MAWTT DT card for this week.

Arrgghhh!!! this weather!!!

Well after about 2 hours of sunshine yesterday, its back to the dull, cloudy, rainy yak again!!! What is it with this country & pants weather, its s'posed to be summer arggghhhhh!!!!!!
Anyway back to my cards for today the first one is a proper cutie made for one of my best friends little boy, whos birthday it is today so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM XXHis birthday present off his mom Hazel (dido) was a hamster & he called him Marble...how cute!

Mmmmmmonday again!!!!

I am totally in shock that its August already, wheres this year gone? It doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago since it was Christmas & we were going down to Bognor for New Year, but it was 7 months ago!!!!!

Anyways on to my cards for this sunny...yes I said sunny, its the first proper sunshine we have
 had in nearly 5 weeks ....

Where's the weekend gone?

I can't believe how quick this weekend has gone, its simply flown by...
I've got quite a busy week this week, later today we are going to the girls school for a look around before they start in September. Then tomorrow morning we hand the keys back to our old house & thats it no more going back lol.... then later on tomorrow we have to go to the local education authority to make an appeal about Danni getting in the same school as Katie, a load of faffin if you ask me....we have already been told they can't say no because Katie has already been excepted. So thats another of Niges holiday days wasted argghhh!!! Getting worried now because he's not gonna have many left when I have my op in September & I can't do anything for at least 6 weeks....Wednesday will hopefully get chance to do a few crafty things...Thursday Charlie has got his check up at the vets ...& friday I am refusing to get out of bed lololol

Rainy, rainy 'orrible wet stuff....

I seriously think our weekend away has done wonders for my mojo, I can't stop making cards(but this rain is getting silly now...please go away) lol....downside is whilst I am making, I am not looking for a house argghhh!!!.....well today spent about 3 hours housey hunting looked at about 400 different ones, found 3 that were suitable, phoned to book viewings, one already gone, got viewings on thursday to see the other two...so hopefully one of them will be just perfect...

My second card for today is a 'Get Well Soon' for my friend who is feeling a bit under the weather, & as she loves her garden, I thought this image was just perfect.





Wasn't to sure what colours to do the flowers, but decided to stick to subtle colours.

'The Crazy Challenge'

Wow, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that joined in with my theme last week..and congrats to the WINNER and well done to the TOP3

Right onto this weeks challenge, the theme is 'Something New', that can be anything. A new baby, new house even using some new stash...anything goes really.

Such a cutie!!!

Hello, sorry I've not been around for a few days, not been feeling like me at all, very strange feeling...but anyways, didn't feel like making anything at all over the last few days. But today felt a bit better so decided to make a 'New Baby' card for my friend who has had a little boy...Congrats Clare & Jon xxx
I have tried to keep up with my usual blog hopping, but if I have missed you I am sorry and hopefully after a nice weekend with Nige and the girls I will be some what back to normal...xxx

Right on to my card, I decided to follow the sketch over on 'I Love Promarkers' and the theme over on 'Saturday Challenge' is metal, I hope the little charm counts...theres also a challenge on 'Fab & Funky' whose theme is also metal....

Thank You!!

Well my nextdoor neighbour came around last-night to have a crafty play. While the men watched footie, (I had an ear out on the footie, as you know I lurves my footie) managed to catch the last 30mins or so, looked like a good match.

Triangles? lol

Hi blogging friends hope your all enjoying you Bank Holiday weekend (if you in the UK that is) what horrible weather we are having at the moment....its what I call total pants. We have done nothing all weekend, I made a challenge card yesterday while Nige and the girls played on the Wii, then we nipped to Wilkos and got some bedding plants for my baskets....today spent all day making one challenge card and playing on the Wii...oh we also took Charlie out for a quick walk that turned into a 3 hour walk...and I wanna go to Derby tomorrow to see if we can see the Peregrine Falcons feeding...

Anyway onto my card for today lol...when I first saw this sketch I thought I'm gonna give this one a miss this week I think, but I sat down and played with different papers and after colouring in 2 different images I decided on this one, and considering to begin with I didn't like it, I think its turned out ok.....

I would like to enter this into the challenge over at Totally Papercrafts as it was their sketch I followed.

New Challenge Card

Well I have been so, busy these last few days, with getting my first DT card done for The Crazy Challenge pop over on Monday for the details of the new challenge, and have a look at my first card arrrgghhh so nervous lol and the girls have had today off school, think it was because it was a teacher training day, so we have spent the day crafting and having a good old laugh....especially when Nige fell over, yes my 6" 5 silly hubby fell over...still not sure what happened, but he blinking scared me, daft muppet he is..

This card is for the challenge over at Moving Along With The Times, this is one of those challenges that I try and join in with every week as the ladies over ther are lovely and the challenges are always fun to join in with....
This week there is a sketch to follow and an optional theme of buttons, glitter and bows... It also falls in with the challenge over at Charisma Cards whos theme the weeks is girlie with flowers..
I have used some of the new colours I got the other day on my shopping expedition (love the turquoise colours of her dress, think thats gonna get used lots...) with Cal...can I please ask you to pop over to Cals blog and show her your support as she has just started joining in with different challenges, and I know it would be appreciated...thank you xx

Oh I just love Daisy

Hello all my blogging friends, hope your all ok...
I went to the hospital today hoping for a date for my op, only found out that I've gotta go back in June to see someone else...whats that all about? I don't need to be refered both myself and Nige have agreed is the best thing for us as a family if I have the op....so I'm a bit cheesed off today....

Got back from the hospital at about midday, so decided to finish my card for the Passion for Promarkers challenge 'in the garden'.....
I have been after this stamp for ages after seeing it on Debbi's blog I just love it, but only managed to get it this week after my local shop got her in for me....along with the new April Showers and Miss Clause also by sugar nellie, which I can't wait to have a play with....
I decided to put Make a Wish because it looks like she's blowing one of those dandelion things, even tho shes not I thought it fitted quite well..lol
I forgot I was entering this into the challenge over on Sentimental Sundays its their first challenge this week....flowers and a sentiment....I have tried to add a link to the blog but it keeps kicking me off the computer so I give up lol...it is in my sidebar...

I lurve these stamps lol

I got this set of stamps from the NEC, I had seen a similar cat on someones blog, but couldn't find them anywhere. These were one of those must have sets of stamps lol they are great so funny and cute. I decided to enter them in the challenge over at doodle palace which is funny animals...and I thought these kitty cats were purrrfect lol

A card for my darling hubby..

I thought I would make Nige a card, just so he knows how much I do appreciate him...
Also to thank him for all his support and help over the last few years...and for helping me come to a huge decision about my future....within the next few months I will me having major surgery and won't be able to do anything for nearly 2 months (so no card making argghhh!!! thats gonna be soooo hard lol) but Nige and my fab girls have said they will help me as much as they can, so I feel so much better about turning their lives upside down for a few months lol
