I decided to have a proper play with my Prisma pencils. I haven't used anything else to colour this fab image in just my pencils & I loved doing it. You have so much control over them its great!

Just a question for those of you that used them or similar pencils.....what do you use to blend? I have been using a dorso blending solution that I have to use with my Parchment craft.....it works fine but just wondering  whats the best to use & also best place to get it from?  Thanks in advance xxx

Paper Piecing!

Lol! Its sounds sooooo easy, well I s'pose it is with a rubber stamp! But oh the problem I had doing this card using a digi!!! LOL! I didn't know which way up to put my paper in my printer, where to put the paper (it was a 6" square & I usually only use A4!!) so I ended up printing on the back & only getting part of the image on the paper! But I had such a giggle doing it! I can't believe I never take any notice of which way round the paper prints!!

This was my first attempt at using my sewing machine on a card!  Nige got it me about 14 years ago & I used it once it scared me to death.....how quick it went lol but I decided to give it another go & it wasn't to bad lol...my stitching isn't anywhere near straight but I think thats better! Don't you?

A Perfect Spring Day!!!

Well the weather here is a bit better today, the sun is out but blinkin ek its still nippy out there!! We had rain yesterday...mmmm rain means Charlie won't go out for a wee unless I stand out there with him, with a brolly!!! Yeah I know I'm as daft as he is lol But he's my baby & he doesn't like getting wet!!

Anyhoos todays card...I have managed to squeeze a card in thats not a DT card whoop whoop!!! Doesn't happen very often..

Grumpy Gretchen, A Rather Cute Dragon & A Geisha Girl !!!

Well after my near fall (oops!) yesterday in the snow!! I have decided to stop in today, Nige is taking the girlies shopping, for trainers for school, Wii & X-box games for crimbo...I so hope they get Ice Age for the eggbox its fab we downloaded a demo & all ended up playing it last night I nearly peed me self laffin at Katie getting her knickers in a knot sooooooooo funny!! Then its footie on the box, Newcastle (who I support) v Chelsea (who Didge supports) mmmm fistycuffs in our house this afternoon lololol

I thought I would start by showing you my first Christmas card.. I blame Hazel (Dido) as she sent me some proper cute christmas images in a swap..and I just couldn't resist using them a bit early..I know some of you have already started you christmas cards but me, I usually leave it till end of October before I start with them...

I thought I would show you a close up so you can see the glittery snow...I have got some white applique stuff somewhere but can I blinkin find it....nope...its vanished...gone!!! will have to get some more..

OH ONLY 9 PROMARKERS TO GO WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and Nige had said he will take me to get them this week sometime so not long now, after 6 months of buying a few here and a few there I will have um all xx

For those of you that have been reading my blog for a while now (I thank you) you will know that two years ago Nige broke his foot at work (fell of the bak of his wagon) numpty...but he had broken his other foot 15 years ago and while he was off work was when we got together so, this image just made me smile and think of him when we first got together...yes I'm a big softy really lol
