November progress

This is all the progress on Spring Angel for now.
Spring Angel - Joan Elliott

December's piece is............HAED Literate Dragon. I had hubby pick a number and Literate Dragon won. I am hoping to finish page 1 this month.

I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving. I celebrated with my parent's, sister and her boyfriend, my hubby and DS#1.

Then Saturday I celebrated it again with my in-laws. I ate to much there lol.

I finished watching Under The Dome and loved it and then watched and finished Cedar Cove based on the books by Debbie Macomber. Loved that series. Can't wait for next summer for both of these series to return.

Today I watched The Shaggy Dog (2006) and enjoyed that. Just watched a Hallmark movie on the DVR, Three Weeks, Three Kids and that was really good too. Tonight is Once Upon A Time and then a Christmas movie that I will DVR. I haven't played Sims3 in over a week and am thinking about playing it. If not, I will watch the movie and stitch.

I have been waiting for a holiday weekend to clean my computer desk and I think it looks great and I hope to keep it this way.

Spring Angel progress

Well I have stitched a lot on this all week.
I am loving the colors on this piece. Spring Angel by Joan Elliott. It's out of a The Cross Stitcher issue, from several years ago.

Movies I watched this week:
Think Like A Man- I was surprised that I liked this.
Iron Lady- Better than I thought it would be
The Thanksgiving House - Hallmark movie - Loved it!
Puppy Love - Hallmark movie I had DVRd a while ago - Loved it
Under The Dome - Stephen King 13 week series. Not sure if it was a mini series that started in the summer and continues or if it is all done with episode 13. I just finished episode 9. I am really enjoying this series I will finish it tomorrow night.

I will continue stitching on this piece through next Saturday and then will pick another UFO to stitch on during December. I have about 15 UFOS that I started in January and some are quick stitches and can be done in a week. I am hoping their number comes up soon so I can have a finish :-)

Saturday SAT and Sunday Halloween SAL

I stitched on Joan Elliott's Spring Angel, for a few hours on Saturday. This is a SAL with Only One Ewe BB and Stitching Sisters Yahoo group.

It also was a Movie day with Lifetime Movie Network. Scott and I watched:
Total Stranger
Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life
Seven Deadly Sins

Sunday was a SAL for Halloween with the Stitching Sisters Yahoo group. So I pulled out Cat-O-Lantern and got quite a bit done on it.
Before I stitched , Scott and I went to an Antique tractor and truck show. Not my kind of thing but Scott wanted to go and since he does a lot for me then I went along. We just walked around once and never stopped to really look at one. Don't know why, There also was a flea market but I didn't find anything. Came home and pulled out my stitching and watched Lifetime Move Network again.

Watched:
Living With the Enemy- saw this before
Ann Rule's To Late to Say Goodbye

I have decided to go to a Weight Watchers meeting. I have been following it for a week and doing really well with eating healthy and staying within my points. Even went out for a sub yesterday. Had a 6" roast beef on Wheat with veggies and a little oil. Normally I have it on Italian sub roll with mayo as well as oil and I usually order a whole sub. So this was a big change for me but I didn't feel that i deprived myself. So there is a meeting by me on Thursdays at 5:15. The problem is it is in the town where I work and I get out of work at 3. I don't want to go back home, after work since it is a 20 minute drive one way. Then when I go to the meeting it is on the other side of the town where I work. There is a Starbucks and another coffee shop so I just need to find out if they have free wifi. I can order a coffee or tea and spend time on the internet before going to my meeting.

Friday SAT

I didn't stitch much this week. Justin and I went to the movies on Thursday and saw Despicable Me 3D. Loved the movie. Laughed so hard I had tears pouring down my face.
Then we went grocery shopping. Him and I are doing Weight Watchers. My mom gave me all her stuff so Justin and I have been fun buying for that and eating healthier. But then I had to buy other food for Scott and Dylan. They don't eat here much so not a problem. Then I went to a couple of websites and even found one for points in restaurant food. Some days I can't eat all the points I need and some days I go over 1 point. I have learned so much online from other weight watcher members.

My coworker let me borrow all 3 High School Musicals. So last night I stitched on Joan Elliott's Spring Angel for the SAT with Let's Stitch blog and Stitching Sister's Yahoo group. I didn't get a lot stitched on this as I was watching the TV more than stitching. I did get this much done on it.
I plan on stitching on more of this today. Not to hot this morning so I will clean and I have no plans for today. Maybe just veg out.

Saturdays SAT

I went to the LNS in the morning. I needed Kreinik gold but they were out of the silver. So she had one car of something else to substitute(mind is blank right now)it with. I know I need more of this but she said I had enough. I don't think so.

Came home to stitch on Joan Elliott's Spring Angel. It was a SAT piece with the Only One Ewe BB and Stitching Sisters Yahoo group. Plus it is my incentive piece with the Only One Ewe BB. I got quite a bit stitched on despite that i am working with Kreinik BF.

I watched:
DVD - Tinkerbell & the Lost Treasure
DVR- Bones
Smallville

Spring Angel progress Saturday SAT

Saturday was the SAT with the Only One Ewe BB and Stitching Sisters Yahoo group. I stitched on Joan Elliott's Spring Angel. I wanted to back stitch what I had done so far but I need Kreinik cord in silver - 2 spools- so I will have to order some.

I also watched a movie:
The Other Boleyn Girl. Awesome movie but hate how women were treated back then. I would have never made it past 12 lol.

Scott and I went and visited my parents as I had to pick up a book to read and then we went to Wegmans to get the grocery shopping done. Plus in the same town is our favorite sub shop so grabbed that for dinner. The book I picked up is from the author and our book club won the books and will be discussing it with the author on a phone interview with her. The book is The Memory Thief by Rachel Keener. Read the back blurb and it sounds really good.

Today is Halloween SAL with the Stitching Sisters Yahoo group. I will be stitching on Mill Hill Treats Collage.

started Spring Angel

Yesterday's plans were to stitch all day and catch up on laundry and DVrd shows til my hair appointment at 4:30. Scott decided to go grocery shopping so I was gone a couple of hours. Came home and stitched again and watched some more shows. Got my hair cut and eyebrows waxed. I feel human again. The last time I was there was in June. Can you believe it? Every time I have had money to go then someone here seems to need it more. So it was my birthday gift from Scott. Then we had a small cookout with Dylan and his girlfriend, Britt. Not sure if I told you that him and Shelbi broke up several months ago. They are still friends though. Then sat and stitched some more last night.

Anyways I started Joan Elliott's Spring Angel from The Cross Stitcher April 1997 issue. I got a small part of her wing worked on.

watched GH episodes: 3/24, 3/25, 3/26, 3/29, 3/30, 3/31

Today is stitching on LK Boo Flip Its, I am going to finish EEK and then send it onto a RR.

HAPPY EASTER everyone who celebrates it.
