Best Witches is finished

Here it is all done. This was part of the Crazy January Challenge.
Best Witches- Cross Stitch & Needlework Oct. 1998
18 ct Fiddlers Cloth, DMC
1/3/12 - 12/4/12

Are you all ready for Christmas? I am not. Still have not decorated the house.
The lab is work in is a satellite lab and the main lab is in Maryland. Tomorrow is their Christmas Party. So my boss has invited the 3 of us, from our lab, to go to the party. The boss has bought us the airline tickets and will pay me back for the car rental from the airport to the church. I have never flown before so I am looking forwards to that and it is only an hour flight. We leave at 9am and the airport is 1 1/2-2 hours from where the party is. The party is noon-4. We leave the airport for back home at 8:50pm. So will be back home lat tomorrow night.

Has anyone been watching all the wonderful Christmas movies on Hallmark and Lifetime? I have DVRd quite a few of them and have watched a couple.

Well I need to pull out HAED Aurora's Garden, plan on finishing her next, and watching TV before heading to bed.

Sweet Dreams,
Shelleen

Major Happy Dance

She is finished!!
HAED SK Sunny
25 ct eveanweve
1x1
7/5/10-7/17/12

I had Justin draw what my next UFO was to finish and the winner is.......
Rocky Mountain Christmas - Marty Bell

I don't know what I am going to do with Sunny. Probably get her framed and hang her in my family room. Rocky Mountain Christmas was started as a SAL in January of 2001 and is my oldest UFO. This is for me as I love it. Just hate confetti stitching.

I listened to quite a bit of Knock Out by Catherin Coulter and am halfway through it.

Well now you will have to keep your eyes open on my RMC progress.

HAED progress and 2 Halloween finishes including Crazy January Challenge #1

I managed quite a bit of stitching this weekend.
Saturday I managed a few hours and 200 stitches on HAED SK Sunny .

Today I did dishes and then listened to my audiobook for 6 hours while stitching and doing laundry. I am listening to Smoke Screen by Sandra Brown. I have 3 CDs left to finish it. Anyways after that I watched Once Upon A Time and then Desperate Housewives - 3 more episodes til the series finale :-(
Anyways I finished LK Halloween Rules
 LK Halloween Rules
28 ct Amber linen
Crescent Colours, GAST, WDW, DMC
7/17/11 - 3/25/12

Then I pulled out Crazy January Challenge #1 and finished it right at the end of Desperate Housewives, perfect timing for the blog.
JCS Halloween Collection - Brittercup's Halloween Cat Tree
30 ct Belfast Antique white linen, GAST, Kreinik
1/1/12 - 3/25/12

Pretty good stitching day for me.

Garden is finished

I finished Elizabeth's Designs A Colonial Garden. It was given to us at a retreat in March 2010. I only did the gate and a little bit of the wall, while there. I pulled this back out last week and finished it this afternoon. It is done on 30 ct weeks linen. I didn't care for this linen but then again I am not a big fan of linen.
Elizabeth's Designs - A Colonial Garden
30 ct weeks linen
3/19/10-2/15/12

Last night Justin picked a paper, #8 was written on it for my next WIP/UFO to finish. It happens to be HAED SK Sunny. I put in a few stitches on it today. It was a SAL in 2010 with the HAED BB. So this will be my main project til it is done. I do like the colors in it.
This is page 1 of 3

Justin and I went to the movies tonight, We saw Chronicle. I rate it a 3/5. I liked the storyline. The acting was fine and the special effects were great but it dragged quite a bit and the main character walked around with a camera on everyone so it was like the Blair Witch Project.

Well time for bed. I am sleepy. Thank you to all who read my blog and leave comments.

First finish of the year

I sat down around noon with Christmas Angel and didn't put the last bead on til 9:30. I had stopped to eat and us e the bathroom but otherwise that is all I did. I was determined to finish her tonight.
Joan Elliott Christmas Angel
The Cross Stitcher Dec. 1996
started 5/20/05
finished 1/28/12
28 ct cashel linen antique white
DMC, Kreinik, Mill Hill Beads

Close up of the top part

Close up of the bottom

I loved stitching on her and I don't know why she had become a UFO. I have more of these angels to stitch. Spring Angel I started a while back as well.

So I sat and watched TV all day. Some were on the DVR
Ice Age:A Mammoth Christmas
Happiness is A Warm Blanket Charlie Brown
Desperately Seeking Susan
Dead Silent - Lifetime
Family Sins - Lifetime
and there is another movie on Lifetime that I have started watching but can't remember the name
General Hospital

I am hoping my next finish will be SamSarah Designs The 1892 Pledge. I will be working on that starting Monday.
For the rest of the year, the week of the 25th of each month will be my oldest UFO. Rocky  Mountain Christmas by Marty Bell.

Thanks for looking and all compliments are appreciated.
