Hello beauties! I'm typing this post with one hand and reassuring my almost 3 week old baby with the other. She seems to be cranky always just when I want to do something fun, lol!

I don't know about where you live, but here in Ottawa fall is at full swing. I'm in a great mood despite my sleep deprivation, just not needing the AC every night and feeling a cool breeze on my skin calls for celebration in my book. It's that special time of the year for glamourous and vampy lips. I have selected my favourite dark lipsticks to show you on this occasion (pictures of me wearing the lipstick is included in each case).

Dark lipsticks are not for everyone, yours truly has been wearing them since she was 15 though so this is familiar territory for me. I believe that all the selected shades can be worn by anyone. Just use a good lip liner and a killer attitude: Chanel La Sensuelle Rouge Allure Velvet, MAC Red Pepper (Pro), MAC Rebel, Make Up Forever Rouge Intense Artist #48, Chanel Rouge Noir Rouge Coco and Nars Train Bleu Matte Velvet Pencil.

MAC Rebel - is one of MAC's best selling dark lipsticks and I can see why. Rebel is a darkened magenta with super creamy texture and looks good on just about anyone!

Chanel La Sensuelle - is a very sophisticated matte dark blue red. Like all mattes you need to moisturize your lips well before applying. The formula feels slightly satiny and lasts on my lips 6-7 hours.

me2
me wearing Chanel La Senseulle (Fall 2011)

MAC Red Pepper - is another matte texture lipstick but this one is a slightly browned red. This lipstick is fairly unique from what I've seen and definitely one that gets looked over. The matte texture is smooth and none drying.

MUFE #48 - is the most beautiful burgundy red in my possession. I love the texture of the MUFE rouge intense lipstick line, they pull on the lips slightly but are creamy on and last as long as 8 hours for me.

1-11/8/12
me wearing MUFE #48 (fall 2012)

Chanel Rouge Noir - this is a classic Chanel, a dark plum with strong brown/red undertone. This one is definitely not for the faint of heart but is one of my favourite Chanel lipsticks of all time!

4-19/9/10
me wearing Chanel Rouge Noir (Fall 2010)

Nars Train Bleu - the darkest shade of this series, Train Bleu is a dark smokey purple. The red undertones make it wearable though (at least for me). I've said it before and will say it again, Nars matte velvet pencil is my favourite lipstick formula in the market.

Hey beauties! As mentioned previously, it is time for me to clean up my makeup stash and give some of these gently used items a new home.

General Info:

1. All items are very gently used (3 times max). I don't have anything in boxes as I bought these for personal use and just never got around to giving them enough love.

2. All items will be sanitized as applicable and everything comes from a clean and pet free home.

3. I have 100% positive feedback on Specktra here if you want to check it out.

Rules:

1. I only accept Paypal as it is the safest method. The invoice will come to you from my Paypal account "Saadeh Masaeli". Please select "Personal" instead of "Purchase" when sending me the payment so I don't get charged extra fees. If your shipping address is different from paypal, please let me know.

2. First comes first served! In order to ensure I see your request quickly, please send me an email at saadehmasaeli@yahoo.com with what items you're interested in instead of/in addition of commenting on the post.

3. Please ensure I receive your payment within 12 hours of receiving the invoice. Otherwise if there's someone else interested I will move on to them.

4. All prices are in Canadian Dollars (check online currency convertors). I will be shipping every Friday till all items are sold.

5. No returns, no holds. I will not be responsible for items once they leave my hands.

Shipping:

Shipping out of Canada is fairly expensive. It's actually also pricey to ship items within the country. I really have no control over this as Canada Post is our sole point of shipment here. All shipment include postage and packaging. Due to higher shipping prices out of here, it's probably best you buy more than one item.

- Shipping to the USA: $7
- Shipping to Canada: $8.50
- International: please send me your paypal address and I will get you a quote.

Alright, formalities out of the way, here are the goodies!

Hello beauties! It's busy weekend for me with work on the house and also "work" work (I know, I'm a loser for working on the weekend) but I still found time to do a Halloween look. I went for the classic vampier look and used MissChievous' latest vampire tutorial as inspiration. I'm not dressing as a vamp for Halloween this year, I just like to do one every year near Halloween.

Now, I still have a hard time erasing my eyebrows. No method seems to work for me so far. This time I used a Cinema Secret wax stick and I still was not happy with it. I ended up filling my brows with black shadow in the end and just making the end look straight. Anyone else with full brows having this issue? How do you erase yours?

Anyway, here are some pics:

halloween1

Halloween2

Halloween3

First I "attempted" to erase my eyebrows, see above. Once done, I used my normal concealer on top of my brows.

I used one of my normal foundations, Nars Sheer Matte (shade Fiji) and dusted some MAC Gesso e/s on top to pale out my skin. Then I contoured using MAC Sculpt and Copperplate e/s.

On my eyes, I used MAC Artifact as a base and then put some MAC Graphology and MUFE #39 e/s in crease and lower lashline. I dusted MUFE #99 on lid and under my eyes. Used Lancome Black Art Liner to line and applied Lancome Hypnose mascara.

I lined my lips with Annabelle Bordaux l/l and then filled them in using MAC's Night Violete Mattene. I applied Nars Dragon Girl velvet pencil to the centre of lips only.

Finally I added some fake blood I got from Kroylan. That stuff is awesome, the most real looking fake blood I've ever seen!

What are you dressing as this Halloween?

Hey beauties! I have another look from this past weekend for you. Hubby and I attended a close friend's engagement party held at a beautiful state house in Perth. I was wearing a purple dress and wanted to do smokey eyes (but not purple) so I went for plum and gray. Nars Eurydice duo is one of my favourites for creating a smokey eye with a twist and I find both sides unique in my collection.

Hope you guys like this look :)

And here's a picture of the outfit of the day. Dress is by BCBG and shoes by Nine West. I really like this flowy dress though it's not something I'd go for typically. It's a different shape for me (I'm more of a shift/form fitting dress kinda girl). But hubby loves it on me so I like it too ;)

Hello beauties. I had almost forgotten about this look that I did last Saturday. We had a few friends over for dinner so I took the opportunity to glam it up! I went for an overall bronze look and added gilded shadow and a dramatic eyeliner shape. Summer is the perfect time for this types of bronzey looks and I'm taking full advantage of my newly acquired tan.

Hope you guys like this look.

And this was my outfit of the night. Continuing my love affair with maxi dresses, I picked up this sort of animal print maxi on the sales rack at Winners last week for $20, score! Though I think the dress is a "bit" short but whatever at that price I didn't care :D

Hi guys! I modified the standard smokey brown eyes to make it pop a bit more by adding some Copper Sparkle pigment and Reflects Copper Glitter in the middle of my lid. This is another look where I tried out shades that I'm not a huge fan of. Much like orange lips, I also don't really like copper shades; at least not on myself. But I think just a hint of copper works just fine.

What do you guys think?

Hello my lovelies! I've been having sooo many technology #fail moment these days. I have not been successful at removing the virus on my laptop so I'm still using hubby's PC for blogging. Also, my SD card decided to totally die on me this past weekend so I lost a buncha pictures...boooo! So some of the blog posts I had planned for this week are gone :(

But anyway, today was a nice and finally warm day and I was inspired to wear warmer shades on my eyes. My first instinct was to pair the eyes with dark lips but I lightened up inspired by spring. I adore shades on watermelon on my lips. I will do a blog post right after this and show you my favourite watermelon lip products.

I had a full on birthday weekend and enjoyed to the fullest. Two of my coworkers (though I would say more friends coz we always hang together) organized a dinner/clubbing get-together for me on Friday night. There was overall 15 of us out that night and we had a blast. Then I spent my actual birthday (Saturday) in Montreal with hubby shopping, fine dining and some more clubbing. Also had lunch at my folks (and more presents, yey) on today upon 0ur return from Montreal and are heading out for dinner at another friend's place. It's been quite a busy weekend and I'm lovin it! I went a bit crazy with my shopping in Montreal but it was a birthday treat, lol! Speaking of which, do you guys want to see clothing haul or should I just limit to makeup haul?

Anyway, this is my look from Friday night. It was my quick and easy glam look featuring red lipsticks. Let me know what you think.

Hubby and I started dating 8 years ago on this very same day. Even though we have also been married over 3 years, we still celebrate our dating anniversary as well the wedding one. We ended up going for a casual brunch date and then a stroll in the market yesterday. As I get older, I enjoy the simpler dates more and more. Here's some pictures of us throughout the years:

Hey lovelies! I hadn't worn my bright pink lips in a while so I thought I contrast the golden warm shades on my eyes with cool bright pink a la MAC Show Orchid. I also used my MUFE #4 gold metal powder for the first time and OMG it is so gorgeous in action! I think I want to run to Sephora and get the other 3 gold shades as well (that is if they still have it).

Hope you guys enjoy this look. I'm still excited about my new hair :D

How I adore thee MAC's Chez Chez Lame special reserve powder! You are the best highlighter ever made! I cannot stop using this powder. I was wearing on top of my blushes and bronzers before but on Saturday I tried it on its own and it still looks great. I think Chez Chez Lame is officially my favourite face product purchase of this fall/winter.

I paired my beloved highlight powder with green eyes for a dinner party we were hosting on Saturday. Hope you guys enjoy this look:
