In honour of the first frosty day of this fall, I did a gray/muted purple look today. I was happy with the outcome but not sure if I like the lips with this look. I should have probably balanced the coolness of the eyes with warmer lips. Well, too late now.

I'm in the office today all day and hoping to catch up with unread emails, send out my reports from Friday on and finally have a good one hour lunch, lol!

My husband and I took my mother in law on a day trip to Montreal yesterday. As Montreal is only 2 hours drive away from Ottawa we went in the morning and came back late at night. We even had time to go to the Pro Store so i can check out Style Black! I will explain my thoughts on the collection in the next post. But this is the look I wore on our day trip and the MA that was helping me loved my makeup. He even asked me how I'd done it :P I'm also trying out MUFE Duo Matte and so far it's love!

I ended up doing a softer version of the traditional pin-up look. By that I mean I used a taupe liner instead of black and didn't use any false lashes. It was an incredibly hot day yesterday so I wanted the MU to reflect that. Also, I got out of work later than expected so I kinda hurried through this look. I don't like it as much but the hubby loved it and that's all that matters, lol!

We went to a super fancy restaurant on the Quebec side called Sterling. We had lobster and scallops as appetizers and steak for dinner. It was definitely a very good restaurant. I just can't believe it's already been 2 years since we got married! I guess time goes by quicker when you're having fun.

I was having a total brain fart this morning and couldn't decide on my MU. I ended up asking the hubby what colour he wanted me to wear and he said "soft purples". So here's the look I did. I actually like it. I should listen to him more often, hehe! On another note, tomorrow is our second wedding anniversary. I cannot believe time went by so fast! The hubby is taking me to a nice restaurant but I don't which as it will be a surprise. I need to figure out an outfit and MU for tomorrow ;)

It's raining again today and hence pictures with the flash. It's actually extremely humid out there and I already have a headache. I just finished a site inspection, eating my lunch as I type this and going to another site in half an hour.

I decided to do a much simpler look today but I still liked the outcome. What do you guys think? Colourful and dramatic or simple and subtle on me?

I love doing a pink and bronze look so every once in a while I do a similar look just change it up a bit. I was able to get a decent 8 hour sleep last night after a few nights of insomniac behaviour. It feels great, I feel as though I can take over the world, lol! Th beautiful weather we're having is also helping.

Oh, btw, our second wedding anniversary is coming up. Does anyone have any cool idea for a gift? I have some stuff in mind but I wanna hear more ideas. Thanks in advance!

We're on day 5 of constant cloudy and rainy skies in Ottawa. So I was inspired by all the grayness and did a soft gray smokey eye. I love to wear my Lavender Whip lipstick with grays. I think this is better than wearing it with purple eyes, kinda more unexpected yet so good! lol!

I'm invited to a game night at a friend's place tonight. I'm also taking a newly addict friend to MAC on Sunday. But overall I want to keep the weekend low key; get my annoying eyebrows done, maybe if the sun comes out do some swatches and reviews.
