Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is "Whatever Wednesday" day on the My Creative Time blog.  I needed to make a thank you card and this is what I came up with. I really love the new Chunky Stitched Tag Dies set, so I thought I would test out the two biggest on the front of a card. I love the Watering Can Die too and always forget about it. I added some flowers to the top. The flower does came from the Seasonal Greetings Stamp Set.

Whatever Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!!!

Troll hair, don't care.... that's what I like to say anyway. Ha! I saw the idea for these darling headbands on Pinterest. There is a great tutorial showing how to make them here. I thought they would be fun to make for a friends daughters birthday party. So I ran to Hobby Lobby and WalMart and got everything I needed.

They are fairly easy to make. The tutorial linked above shows how to hand cut flowers, but I though I would use the MCT Rolled Flower Dies. I'm all about quick and easy and these dies made it just that. I also used the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies to cut some leaves. I used hot glue to attach the flowers and leaves to the headbands, you probably could also use E6000 but it will take awhile to dry. If you have been reading this blog for awhile you know I am all about instant gratification. (wink, wink)

I love how they turned out and so did all the girls.

Today is "Whatever Wednesday" day on the My Creative Time blog. Last Friday, I created this gift box, from a ready made box that I purchased from the Timeless Twine store. I thought I would make another one with a birthday theme. 

I used one of the Square Stitched Goody Dies this time, to make the window in the front of the box. I also left the box it's original kraft, filled it with Kisses, and added some sequins to the outside... kind of reminds me of confetti. The Teeny Tag Layering Dies
are the perfectly size for this box.
