Peace & Joy for all!

Happy Friday!

So operation "finish making or buy all Christmas presents" starts tomorrow. I am so behind this year, but I am determined to get everything finished in the next 7 days. My goal is to have all presents wrapped and delivered by next weekend, so that I can enjoy spending time with my family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. I will let you know how it goes... :)

I have a fun shaped card for you today.
Gingy's seem to the the "thing"this year. There are a ton of super cute gingerbread people svg's out there. I especially loved this set by Scrapping Bug Designs. I though that this angel would make a darling shaped card. I love how she turned out. I sized her at 4.8" tall, created a shadow layer of .1600 around her, and then welded two of them together to form the base of the card. Her eye's and nose were part of the file, her mouth is a retired Peachy Keen stamp, it was part of a face on a gingerbread face.

Sentiment: My Creative Time, From Our Family to Yours

My Creative Time New Release Blog Hop!

Happy Friday!

Today is day two of this months My Creative Time's new release blog hop! If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning  click here.

For today's project, I am showcasing the new Vintage Stitched Dies and the Vintage Sentiments.
My Friend Jamie found the idea for this super cute Tissue Box Card on YouTube. She thought it would be easier to make it into a svg file and use her Cameo to cut it out. She was so sweet and shared the file on her blog. I just think it is the cutest!

Do you want the file too? Click "Jamie" above and it will take you to the download page, please don't forget to thank her!
Seriously, who wouldn't be cheered up by this? It measures 4 1/4"x 2 1/2"x 4 1/2"tall and it holds one travel size tissue pack. I found a 3 pack of tissue at the $1 store.
My frog was cut at 3" tall, the bow at 1" x 3/4", and the lilly pad was made with an oval from MTC's basic shaped library, that measures 3 1/4" x 3/4". I stamped her sweet face with a PKS stamp.
Papers: PaperTrey Ink & Echo Park
Tissue Box Card: Freebie from Jamie (Please become a follower of her blog & leave her some blog love (thank her), if you download her free file) Thanks! :)
Frog & Bow svg's: Scrapping Bug Designs, Hoppy Birthday & "DisGuise"da Limit files

Beary special thoughts...

Happy Monday!

Did you have a nice weekend? The weather was beautiful here in southern CA. I spent most of my weekend cleaning, cleaning out closets and cupboards, and organizing my house. I was able to get in some crafty time yesterday afternoon. It was nice to have that extra hour of sleep too. :)

I made this fun card.
When I first saw this file from Scrapping Bug Designs, I knew exactly which sentiment of Emma's that I wanted to use.
Instead of cutting out the "hot stuff" letters, that are on the svg file, I replaced them with stamped letters from the My Creative Time.
Papers: Core'dinations, Recollections, and Pebbbles Inc.
SVG: Scrapping Bug Designs, Disguise Da Limit
Face Stamp: Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-140 Teddy Bear and Reindeer Face Parts
Hot Stuff letters: My Creative Time, Just Simply Live
Sentiment: My Creative Time, Beary Special Thoughts

Today is ...

day on the MCT blog. Head on over for some fun PL and Smash ideas!

I hope you have a fabulous day!
