Happy Thursday!

Today is day four of My Creative Time's October stamp release sneaks. My project today was made with the new set called "All Around Birthday Time". This new set works perfectly with the Stitched Circle.

I made a couple of Birthday cards!
The card base is from Lettering Delights, the set is called No Place Like Home. The princess is from My Graphico's  svg set called Fairy Tail.
The papers are from Papertrey Ink, DCWV, and My Minds Eye.
Dont' you just LOVE this stamp set already, even though you haven't seen the entire set!?!
Her sweet face is from Peachy Keen Stamps set called, PK-640 Princess Face Assortment.

You might remember this card. I made it awhile back for a Peachy Keen Stamps release blog hop.
But... I always thought it needed something else and I just couldn't put my finger on what, until... I got this new stamp set in my hands.
I don't think this stamp could be any more perfect!
Perfect no?
His face is from the Peachy Keen Stamps sets called,  PK-642 Boy Mates Assortment

Throwback Thursday Challenge w/My Creative Time

Happy Thursday!

Today is the start of a all new Throwback Thursday Challenge!

This weeks challenge is to use any "Lite" cartridge you own and to "BLING" up the project of your choice! Yep, add any kind of Bling, rhinestones, stickles, glitter paper etc...

I made a card for the 4th of July.

The little girl is from the Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite cart and the stars are from the B is for Boy Lite cart.
The kraft card stock is from Papertrey Ink, the stripe is from DCWV, Nantucket stack.
The glitter paper can be found on the Peachy Keen Stamps website, it is called

Glitz17 cardstock 6 x 6 all colors. I love it! It cuts like butter in your machine and there is very minimal glitter mess.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time's stamp set called,  My Little Fire Cracker.
The little girls face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment.

I can't wait to see what to see all the projects for this Throwback Thursday challenge!
Don't forget, tomorrow is the start of a all new "Let's Face it Friday" challenge.

I hope you have a great day!

Peachy Keen Stamp's New Release Blog Hop!

WooHoo!

Today is the Peachy Keen New Release Blog Hop! Are you ready?!?
If you just got here from the amazingly fabulous Emma's Blog, then you are on the right track! If not please start here. Believe me... you don't want to miss anything.
There are two new sets of face stamps! My projects were made with set,  PK-150 Face Accessories (includes glasses and mustaches and beards).

Here is my first project.
Don't you just LOVE his snazzy glasses!?!
I used some Diamond Glaze to give the effect of lenses.

My second project is a "Happy 1st tooth" card.
I used one of the mustaches from the set to give her a little hair!
It's a little difficult to see it under the bow... here is a closer look.

Last, but certainly not least my 3rd card!
Ahoy matey!

I love the glasses on the worm, but I think the this mustache and gouty are my favorite!

The new PK-150 Face Accessories set was designed to work with the everyday face assortment (PK-490) and the wide eyed kids (PK-450) they are color separated to show the size... the bottom row is 1"... up to the top row that will fit 1/2" faces in those sets. Then larger ones to the left on the packaging will fit the 1 3/8" characters in those sets. The pirate card above, is a exception to that rule, I was able to get the mustache & gouty to work with the PK-642- Boy Mates Assortment. Yay me! :)

Don't you just LOVE all the new sets!?!

***Giveaway Closed*** Love at First Sight Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday!

I was so excited when Sandra ask me to be a part of her "Love at First Sight" blog hop! There are so many talented blogger's in this hop, I can't wait to see everyone's projects!

If you have arrived here from Joanna's super amazing blog then you are on the right track, if you want to start at the beginning click here to go to Sandra's blog.

This blog hop is to celebrate Sandra's anniversary of when she met her hubby 8 years ago, it was "Love at First Sight", her 7th wedding anniversary, and of course Valentine's Day! She has asked us all to make a love themed gift for someone that we love. We will also be sharing pictures of us with the person we love.

For my project I made my BFF's, Caroline and her hubby Jeff, a banner for their fireplace. Caroline asked me a couple weeks ago if I would make them one and I though that this would be a prefect project for this blog hop.
It say's "Hugs & Kisses". It' hard to see the lighter letters. Have I ever told you how difficult it is to photograph banners... this one was particularly difficult becasue of the colors.
Close-up of the "hugs" side.
Close-up of the "Kisses" side.
The papers  are from K and Company's Valentine's stack and DCWV.
The banner tag was cut from the B is for Boy cart at 5". The hearts were cut from the Doodlecharms cart at 3 1/4". The letters were cut from the Birthday Bath cart at 1 1/2".

I used 6" wide pink tulle to string the banner together.

I love how it turned out and Caroline and Jeff love it too! :)

Sandra asked that we include a photo of the person that we love/made our gift for.  This first photo is my BFF, Caroline and her husband, Jeff. We were having dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, China Camp.
This next one is Caroline and I at Jeff's parents, 50th wedding anniversary party.
Here is one of Meaghan(Caroline & Jeff's daughter), Jeff, and I at the same party.

So no blog hop would be complete with out some sort of blog candy!

I am giving away a set of Peachy Keen, PK-451 Wide Eyed Kids 1 1/8" stamps.

All you have to do to be entered to win is:
1. Become a follower, if not already.

Go Wild!

Happy Saturday! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I am going to spend today scrap'n with my bestie. I have a couple swaps, that I am working on, that I need to finish up and there are a few new Cricut carts that I need to break in! :)

Today's card, is a card that I made several months ago for Joy at Joyslife.com
If you haven't already guessed...
I LOVE her stamps!

The card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" I used the DCWV Pet stack and solid Bazzil card stock. I cut the lion from the Cricut Lite, B is for Boy cart at 4". I used the Martha Stewart crown boarder punch and the Lots of Pun stamp set for the sentiment.
The golden paper on the inside of the card measures 3 3/4" x 5", the white piece measures
2 1/2" x 4 1/2" and the plaid piece measures 3" x 4 1 /2".

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Happy Scrap'n!

Howdy Partner Altered Frame

Happy Thursday!

This is a altered frame that I made for my brother and sister-in-law after their baby was born.

I purchased the wood Frame at Michael's for $2. I used paper from the DCWV Citrus stack to alter it and solid Bazzil card stock to cut out the rocking horse. He was cut from the B is for Boy Cricut Lite cart and he is cut at 4". I added a little doodling to his mane, tail and rocker for effect. The twine is from Michael's, I wrapped it twice and then tied a knot. The sentiment was from the Lots of Pun stamp set. I stamped it on white card stock and backed that with a small piece of matching red paper, also from the Citrus stack.

If you are interested in seeing how I altered the frame, please watch the video below!

Let me know if you have any questions!
Happy Scrap'n!

Dino-mite!

Happy Tuesday!

So I made this card several months ago for one of the design teams that I am on, but sadly... it was never used. So I decided to post it for today's card.

This card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I used the DCWV Citrus designer paper and card stock stacks. The Dino was cut from the B is for Boy Cricut Lite cart at 3 1/2". I used the Fiskars treading water boarder punch. The ribbon is from Doodle Bug designs and the stamp is from the Lots of Pun stamp set.

The paper on the inside of the card measures  3 3/4 x 5, 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 (the bottom of this pieces was punched with the treading water punch), 2 1/2 x 4.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Scrap'n!

G'Day Mate!

Happy Monday everyone! This is going to be a GREAT week! :)

Today's card feature's another sentiment from Joy's Lots of Pun stamp set.
The card measures   4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I used the DCWV Man stack and solid DCWV papers. The sweet little Roo was cut from the B is for By Cricut Lite cart. I used my Fiskars Upper Crest board punch. The buttons are from my collection and are tied with cream DMC floss. I stamped the sentiment with my Lots of Pun  stamp set.
The sentiment pieces on the inside of the card measure; 3 3/4" x 5, 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", and the polka dot strip is 1/2" x 4 1/4".

Happy Scrap'n!
