Yo no sé qué pasa en los meses de verano, que son los meses de las bodas. Las tardes de sábado de Julio y Agosto las pequeñas iglesias se llenan de invitados felices y de suelos tapizados de arroz. Tardes de abanicos, flores y alegría. Para nuestra familia, Julio comenzó con boda y terminará en boda también. 

A tiny wedding mini album with the Wedding Bliss paper collection

In my latest post I showed you a mini album that I made as a present  for a wedding couple. This post is about a mini album again , with the same paper collection and inspiration: when I came back to my home and found my desk full of paper scraps, with the golden ribbon, the pink lace, the white tulle, the tiny flowers, I decided to make again a new mini, a smaller one, with all those beautiful stuff.

I made this mini for a couple that got married a days ago. I felt so happy stitching the edges, making the embellishments clusters, die cutting the papers, matching the designs. It was a big work, I think the biggest that I made for a mini, but I really think it is now a beautiful album for a present and İ am so proud of it. İ really love it.

For  this different urban wedding, the papers of the "Wedding bliss" paper collection, by Echo Park Paper, were a fantastic choice. The black backgrounds for the golden patterns match perfectly with the spirit of this couple. I made again a quilted cover for the mini with two beautiful pieces of patchwork fabric, one with a golden touch, and the other with roses. They made a perfect background for some of the stickers of the collection. The paper flowers, the golden lace, the pink lace fabric, and the tulle were some of the other textures that I add to the cover.

Layout: baile de boda, Raquel y Miguel

¡Se casaron! Y tras decir "sí quiero" y emocionar a los asistentes, cubrimos de arroz a Raquel y Miguel. Y ellos, felices, bailaron al son de la música tradicional gallega en el patio de una bellísima iglesia de piedra en una tarde de Octubre.

 

Letras decoradas para una boda, "J" y "V"

Ayer os enseñaba una tarjeta para un regalo de boda. Hoy os muestro unas letras decoradas con el mismo papel de UHK Gallery, Monsieur, que hice para decorar un rincón del lugar que los novios escogieron para el enlace.

Concretamente, estas letras de madera terminaron en la mesa dulce, aunque durante el convite y mientras los dulces y caramelos no estuvieron en sus jarrones, la mesa era un precioso rincón lleno de preciosas plantas, dentro del invernadero del precioso Pazo de Santa Cruz, en Bueu.
