Bunny giveaway winner!

Bright and early this morning I checked out random.org and drew myself a winner for my biggest giveaway yet. I just have to add before I announce the winner that when the number came up, and I scrolled through the comments to find the matching one, I was actually quite happy that the winner was the winner (does that even make sense?!). You see, this person has probably been my best customer. From day one of putting my stuff into Handmade Heaven she has been there, shopping her little guts out.

So, without further ado, the winner of a custom b
unny, made by me, is comment number 7......
......Rocknwrap! Thanks so much for entering Eleanor, your email address wasn't attatched to your comment, so if you could just let me know your email address we can get the bunny making ball rolling!

Thank you so much everyone for entering and following along, it really does mean a lot to me.

****entries have now closed.****

Well, we've come to the last Friday giveaway of blogtoberfest, and I promised a big one, so here it is. As a thank you to those that choose to follow along on my (mainly!) crafty journey, I would like to giveaway either a bear or bunny, custom made, as my gift to you, dear reader. That's right, one of my signature bunnies or bears could be yours. These currently retail at Handmade Heaven for $79.95 (bear) and $84.95 (bunny). I will be offering this as a follower only offer. Whether that be you are already a follower or a newbie, or even one that follows in bloglines (I know you're out there!), then this is the giveaway for you. So, all you have to do to enter is be a follower, and let me know in the comment of this post whether you would like a bear or bunny and what colours you would like. I'm opening this world wide, so anyone can enter. Have a look through my previous bunny and bear posts (here and here), and see if anything takes your fancy. I have most colours in vintage chenille, I'm bound to have something you will love! You've got until midnight, Sunday the 31st of October (Australian eastern standard time) to enter. I'll be drawing the winner on the 1st of November, so get entering!

So again, thank you. Thank you for following along with my ramblings and giving me support when I need it. Just reading my stats and knowing how many people pop by is enough sometimes to keep me going.

Friday giveaway...again!

Well, we're well over the halfway hump of blogtoberfest now. I know I've missed a couple of days here and there, but I've decided to not let it get to me. The way things are looking for next week I'm sure I'll be missing a couple more too. I just realised last night that I only have a little more than a week to get ready for Gattons Christmas in the Country, and I am not prepared at all. On top of that I start my new job next week! I can see some late night crafting in the very near future. Nothing like a fast looming deadline to spark some action!

Anyway, onto this weeks giveaway. This week I've got a little chenille fairy kit that I purchased a few years back when my chenille obsession was still new. I did have every intention of making these, but never got around to it. And lets face it, my daughter has never been much of a fairy fan anyway. In this kit is everything you need to make these little fairys. They are very cute. Just leave a comment if you would like it.

And the winner of last weeks giveaway is....... Catherine! Congratulations Catherine!

As next Friday is the last Friday of Blogtoberfest I am planning a much bigger giveaway. Make sure you pop back then for the details.

Friday giveaway and last weeks winner

We're at the half way mark for Blogtoberfest now, anyone else feeling the pressure?!

I'll just get straight into this weeks giveaway, that is what you're here for isn't it? This week I have this very cute Gingerbread craft pattern. I do love this pattern, but it has been sitting in my pattern draw for a few years now and it's very likely I'll never actually use it, so I thought I'd pass it along. If you want it, leave a comment. That's it.

And the winner of last weeks giveaway is....... Nicole! Thanks Nicole for entering, hope you like to knit!

Speaking of giveaways, did you happen to notice that I was the extremely lucky winner of Kerryanne's 'Simply Christmas' planner giveaway?! I know, right?! How cool! Well it arrived today, and it is gorgeous! Look at it, all wrapped up like a Christmas present! Thank you so much Kerryanne!

Friday giveaway!

Just a very quick post today. It seems I have come down with some sort of lurgy type thing between yesterdays creative space and last night. Woke up in a cold sweat at 4.30 this morning shaking and shivering.

Anyway, you don't want to hear about that, you just want the next giveaway right? So this weeks giveaway is for 3 vintage 1960's (I think) knitting pattern books. One is for women and the other two are children size. There are some very cute little patterns in this lot. So you know the drill, you want it, leave a comment.

And the winner from last weeks giveaway is...... Linda, from 2 Pink Possums! Congrats Linda!

Blogtoberfest Day 1!

Let the festivities begin! What better way to kick off blogtoberfest than with a giveaway! Right?! I'll be holding weekly giveaways during blogtoberfest, every Friday. So make sure you come back every week. I'll be posting anywhere, and I don't like rules to my giveaways, so anyone is in with a chance.

First up is this very sweet little girls smock dress and bloomers vintage pattern. It has the sweetest little smocking detail, the smocking transfer is included in the pattern. It has been cut, but all the pieces are there in very good used condition. I thought I would add in some embroidery threads to go with the pattern to use for the smocking detail.

So, if you want it, leave a comment! You have until next Friday to enter for this one, then I'll draw the winner and announce the next giveaway. Good luck, and Happy Blogtoberfest everyone!

356 posts, must be time for a.......

quilty cushion

giveaway?? You interested? I figure you probably need a bit of a reward for reading all my ramblings. I have been meaning to have a giveaway for a bit. So in celebration of 356 posts of random musings, lets give something away.

The cushion cover from yesterdays creative space seems like a good prize. You think? If you would like a chance at winning it, leave a comment on this post. That's it. Flea Market finds

I had a great opping day the other day. Not only did I come home with the super cute bunny I showed you the other day, but I also came home with my favourite find so far this year.

It was shining like a beacon, all sounds stopped. I headed straight for it, sitting in the little craft section of Vinnies. No price. As regular oppers would know, no price can go one of two ways. This one went in my favour. "$1.00, is that alright?" she said. Is that alright?? This book is just fabulous. particularly as this year I am really wanting to get into making my own clothes. Poor Stella has had no action since she was brought home.

I also picked up this bundle of assorted zips for $3.00. 18 of them. My husband questioned as to what I was going to need 18 zips for. Well, because they were $3. duh. So, to prove to him I needed those zips, I made a little pouch. Also using the gorgeous little applique from Katia. See I did need those zips after all.

The home of Flea Market finds here.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway here.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope your day is filled with love!

Spreading the love

edit: the giveaway is closed. posie patchwork is the winner!

I have been so lucky lately in winning some lovely giveaways in blogland that I thought it was about time I spread that love around. I played around with some of my selvedges and put together this little heart. It has a gorgeous cherry red vintage chenille on the back and is stuffed. Perfect for a Valentine or to just hang around all year long.

No complicated rules, if you want it leave a comment on this post. I will post anywhere in the world, so get commenting. I think I'll leave it open until next week sometime, by then I should have reached my 250 post milestone, so it will be a bit of a double giveaway. I may even pop in some vintage chenille from my collection.

Please leave some comments quick, I may start to think no one loves me....

Another giveaway won

It seems ladies, that I need to stop entering giveaways so as to give everyone else a chance at winning one. I recently won these goodies from Katia at Plushkacraft. How sweet is that cherry applique! I already have plans for it. I LOVE cherries so it will be a little something I'm making for myself. Something that very rarely happens in this house.

Thank you Katia! And Congrats on the 100 posts!

Hearting

Aren't I lucky? I won a giveaway that Sophie was hosting.

And I do.

Heart Craft and Coffee that is.

Thanks Sophie!

And it also seems in my post-Christmas/New Year pre-12 year-old-attending-High-School-for-the-first-time haze, I forgot about my 1 year blogeversary. It was yesterday. So Happy Birthday blog!

Advent blog-a-long day 17 Purchases and Prizes

We're heading for the home stretch now! Is anyone else starting to freak out that all the things you had wanted to get done are slowly appearing as though they will not eventuate?

Anyhoo, this year Mr Vintage came up with the grand plan that we would buy our own gifts (secretly), wrap them, put them under the tree and then on Christmas day there will still be some element of surprise, but we get what we really want. I thought it was ingenious. So apart from the ice-cream maker (yay!!) I thought I would get myself some lovely handmade goodies. Handmade Heaven was the port of call.

Gorgeous kimono pendant from Melanie at Kimono Reincarnate. It took me forever to choose, they are all so beautiful.

And this fabulous button bracelet from Kellie Christie. Love the colour!

I popped in next door to the cupcake parlour and they had these cute little handmade goodie bags. When I saw the M, I couldn't resist. This is perfect size for the ipod Mr Vintage relented and bought our Miss 12 (aka Miss M). Too cute!

I've also been very lucky lately and won myself some giveaways. First was this super cute little pattern from Clare. Hopefully I can get some time to make some of these in Christmas fabrics, they will be sooo cute!

I also won a giveaway at Ravenhill. This little pack arrived in light speed time from Norway. I absolutely love all these fabrics, they will be petted for awhile I think before I decide what to use them for. Thank you ladies!

Resistance is futile.

Blogtoberfest day 19: Must be time for a giveaway!

Well I've survived this far into Blogtoberfest, so I thought what better way to celebrate than with a giveaway!

Up for grabs I have a little denim and selvedge needlecase, handmade by me. There are 3 vintage sheet fat quarters, 1 vintage hobnail chenille fat quarter and a handful of some very pretty vintage buttons.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post. That's it. No complicated rules, and it's open to anyone, anywhere. Just make sure you leave some way for me to contact you if you win. I'll leave it open until the 30th of October and announce the winner on the last day of Blogtoberfest.

Good luck!
