"But First, Coffee" Fall Scrapbook Layout

Hi! It's Kelly here today sharing a layout made with the amazing Daydreamer collection. This beautiful collection is quickly moving to the top of my favorites list because of it's awesome versatility.

To start my layout, I stitched a 5.5x 8.5 piece of patterned paper to the top of my 8.5x11 base. I also added a 1 inch stitched border to the bottom. I adhered an 8x6 piece of patterned paper to the center of my page to complete my background.

Next, I layered a 5x5 piece of patterned paper for my title with a 4x4 matted photo, a 3.25x3.25 journaling card, and a 3x3 stamped coffee image on the top/center of my page. Then, I added my journaling, tucked a stamped coffee sentiment in next to it, and placed my title. To finished up, I added few embellishments, and a frame for my coffee stamp.

Camp Scrapbook Layout

Hello! It's Kelly here today sharing a 2 page layout featuring the Summer Woods collection. The warm weather is a thing of the past here in Michigan, but there's nothing like some outdoorsy themed papers and colors to make me glad that the long days and sweet memories happened!

For the first page, I started out by covering the bottom of an 8.5x11 patterned paper base with a 4x 8.5 piece of striped patterned paper. After adding a border strip to the seem, I adhered my 2 4x6 photos to the center. I tucked my journaling card slightly under my bottom photo, and added a few embellishments.

For the second page, I again started with a 8.5x11 patterned paper background. I matted a 5x7 piece of patterned paper for my title, and adhered it to the center with foam adhesive. I then finished up by adding a few embellishments.

"Beautiful Dreamer" Boy Scrapbook Layout

Hello! It's Kelly here today sharing a layout made using the Daydreamer and Summer Woods collections. Both of these have instantly moved to the top of my favorites list...but, I especially love the Aztec/Indian themed patterns in the Daydreamer collection.

I started my page by cutting my background papers to 8.5x11, and 8.5x5. I stuck down a washi tape border before stitching the smaller piece down to the top half. I then layered a mix of patterned paper pieces measuring: 5.5x8.5, 5x7.5. and 4.75x5.5 to the top center of the layout. I slightly tucked my journaling card under the bottom of the top layer.

I topped off the layers with my photo, arranging it a little off center with a few flag embellishments. I assembled a little dream catcher with elements from the Sundries and die cuts, and stuck it down to the bottom/left of the photo. I finished it up by adding the title to the bottom of the page.

Back-to-School Fall Scrapbook Layout

Hello! It's Kelly here today sharing a Back to School layout using the Golden Harvest and BOOlicious collections. I loved working with the fun mix of patterns, and of course...fall colors are my favorite!

I started my page by cropping a piece of striped patterned paper down to 8.5x11. I stuck down a 2x6 punched border to the top of the layout - a little off center, before stitching down a 8.5x9 piece of patterned paper for the background.

I kept the rest of the page pretty simple, by arranging my elements in one big cluster. The die cut pocket is from the Golden Harvest collection, and the patterned paper measurements are: 4.5x4.5 (green circle), and 8x5 (red plaid). The triangles are made from 3 different sized squares cut in half diagonally, and their measurements are: 2 inches, 1.5 inches, and 1 inch.

"Hello Handsome" Masculine Card

Hello! It's Kelly here sharing a card using the sweet and masculine Hello Handsome collection. I love to make cards that look like shirts...It's even better if I have bow-ties!

I started by cutting a 1 inch slit down the top/center of a 4.25x5.5 piece of patterned paper. Folding the corners formed by the slit down, I creased them...making my 'collar'. I then adhered the patterned paper to the front of my card. I made the 'suspenders' by cutting a border sticker in half and sticking them down on both sides of the card, trimming off the ends.

Using dimensional tape, I stuck the bow-tie down under the collar...followed by a couple of threaded buttons. I finished up by popping up my sentiment sticker with foam tape, and placing it bottom/center.

Little Man Scrapbook Layout

Hello! It's Kelly here today sharing a layout made with the super adorable Hello Handsome collection. I couldn't wait to create a page with this collection using a photo of my youngest son wearing a little bow-tie!

I started this page with a plain piece of white cardstock, and a 6x9 piece of patterned paper. I layered a 3x9 piece of patterned paper and a 1x7.5 flag/banner on the bottom of my background piece. The photo went down on the center/left of the page, while I lined the right side of the page with different size squares. The top square is 3.5x3.5, and the bottom two measure 3x3.

I finished my page by embellishing the squares, and adding a bit of journaling to the bottom right corner.

Beach Picnic Scrapbook Layout

Hello again! It's Kelly here sharing a summer layout using the Spring Picnic collection...and while spring picnics are lovely, I chose to use this collection for a beautiful summer picnic on the beach of Lake Michigan.

This time I started by making some pinwheels from a couple of the beautiful papers. While there are many tutorials on how to make these flowers, I cheated and used a die :)

For the layout, I covered about 1/3 from the top of a piece of white cardstock with patterned paper, and stitched it down. Using about 1/2 inch of the same paper, I did the same to the bottom overlapping my journaling card. I made a photo corner by cutting a 1 1/2 inch square of patterned paper diagonally, and layered it with my photo, 4x6 card, and 2 inch card close to the top of the page. After adding my title, I finished it up by arranging the pinwheels along with some stickers.

Firework Scrapbook Layout

Hello! It's Kelly here today sharing a layout combining the Forever Sassy collection with some elements from the Summer Party Pad for a fun patriotic theme.

I started by covering the right half of my page with patterned paper after spattering a little paint along the left side, and then stitched it down. I secured a 4x6 card from the Noteworthy collection to the top center of the layout, and scattered my embellishments along the left of the page before layering on a few labels for journaling and my photo.

I added my title cluster to the bottom right of the page using a couple labels and an overlay along with some letter stickers. To finish up, I used some scraps from the Summer Party Pad to make my borders along the top and bottom edges.

Thanks for stopping by!

Father's Day Cards

Hello! It's Kelly here sharing with you some projects made with the super cute Hello Handsome collection. This collection is perfect for anything masculine themed from Dads to birthdays, and even babies! Today, I have a couple of Father's Day cards.

For the first card, I covered about 3/4 of a note card with patterned paper. Centering the sentiment along the left side, I stitched it down. I then had lots of fun building myself a little 'dad' from the Hello Handsome sticker sheet. Next, I arranged the stickers on a die cut piece of white cardstock. I centered it on the patterned paper side of my card, and popped it up with some foam tape. To finish it up, Kraft Chip stars were added, and I topped the hat with a button.

For the second card, I created my background using 4-6x6 pieces of patterned paper. I stared by making 4 evenly spaced marks along the left side of the card (each slightly over an inch). I adhered the first piece down by lining up a corner to the top mark, and lined up the following three the same way using the first one as a guide. Next, I trimmed off the access paper. I then hot glued a vest sticker from the Hello Handsome sticker sheet to a mini wire hanger from the Sundries kit, and popped it up using foam tape onto a 3 inch circle of white cardstock. Using more foam tape, I adhered the circle to the center of my card. I then added the sentiment to the base of the circle for the finishing touch.

There you have it...a couple of cute, and easy cards for Father's Day. Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Adventure Scrapbook Layout

Hello! It's Kelly, here today to share with you a page combining the Hoo's Sweet and Forever Sassy collections. The colors in these two collections coordinate perfectly, and I love mixing and matching elements to fit whatever theme I need.

The base of my layout is a 4x10 and 6x6 piece of patterned paper on white cardstock. After choosing all of my embellishments, I just started playing around with the elements on my page, tucking things here and there until I liked how it looked.

I finished it up with a few stickers, and a thin strip of striped patterned paper stitched along the top and bottom of the page.

Mother's Day Pinwheel Flower Card

Hi! It's Kelly here today to share with you a sweet little pinwheel card that I made for Mother's Day using the Forever Sassy collection.

For the pinwheel, I cut a 2x2 piece of patterned paper, and cut almost to the center from all four corners. I added a small piece of foam tape to the center, and folded down every other corner, and topped with a gem. I jabbed a toothpick into the foam tape for the stem, and secured the whole thing down to the top center of an embossed card base.

I arranged two different sized frames around the pinwheel - popping the top one up. A couple of chip leaves added to the base turned the pinwheel into a flower.

To finish up, I added the sentiment to the top frame using a button for the 'O', and just a small piece of scalloped border sticker to the bottom frame for the final touch.

#LifeLessons

Hi! It's Kelly here today to share with you a layout combining the Forever Sassy and Hoo's Sweet collections. Keeping the color scheme more masculine, I pulled blue and green elements from them both. The colors were a perfect match for my boy themed page.

I thought it would be fun to create a grid design using a mat that I took out of an 8.5x11 document frame. I originally set one box aside for the photo, one for the title, one for an embellishment cluster, and one for the journaling. But, after I had it all laid out, I started moving things around. I feel like the end result draws the eye across the page a little bit better.

Combining these two collections was effortless, as the colors were a perfect match. Thanks for stopping by today!
