Pad Donations Winter 2020



This post covers all packages received by 
Sew Quilt Share between 

January 1, 2020 - March 31, 2020

These pads were donated by Barbara from Vancouver, WA.

Norma from Lebanon, Tennessee sent this box of
pads. Our sewing group will complete the final
sewing step and they will be sent on their way.

These pads were sent by Shirley from Macomb, Michigan.
We appreciate those who love to sew!



Meladee from Tyler, Texas sent this donation of pads
and a lovely handwritten note!

This gift of pads was sent by the Young Women's Group
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,
located in Orlando, Florida. It is so awesome to see young women
helping other young women.

We were delighted to receive this donation from
ladies at the Lighthouse Freewill, Baptist Church located in Bedford, VA. 
In addition to
cloth feminine pads, they included 
and several packages of underwear, safety pins, and a hygiene bag.

We were delighted to receive a donation of 183 beautifully sewn 
drawstring bags from Arizona!
Sadly the box did not contain a note...so whoever sent this
please know we are very grateful for your thoughtfulness!

Kylertown, Pennsylvania.

Kristen from Columbia Falls, Montana sent this package 
of cloth feminine pads along with a lovely handwritten note.

These gifts are greatly appreciated and 
provide a life changing opportunity to each girl who receives a set of pads. 
These feminine pads will be donated as an outreach to students in the rural areas of Haiti. 
In the event that donations exceed the need, 
excess pads will be donated to similar faith-based outreaches.

Pad Donor Update - Summer 2016



As the pad ministry for Mission Possible has expanded, 
no one has been more surprised than me. It is truly a God-thing 
to see women from all over the world giving of their 
time and talents to sew cloth feminine pads. I give Him all the glory 
and I look forward to seeing how this simple act of kindness will impact 
the nation of Haiti for Christ in years to come.

This post covers all packages received between 
March 1 and Sept. 15, 2016. 

A total of 1,134 pads arrived from the following locations...

Marilyn from Canada sent these pads as well as travel soaps


36 pads were donated by Heather from Louisiana 


Supplies to make 21 pads were sent by the Borcher family from Ohio


The Women's Mission Group at Enon Baptist Church,
Danville, Alabama sent this gift of pads


Laura in Maine sent these pads and supplies


The Stitchers of St. Augustine, in Ft. Loramie, OH 


These pads were sewn by a customer at  Sew Nice


143 pads arrived from Oakland County Quilt Guild, Rochester, MI


Billie in South Dakota made these lovely pads

supplies from Women on Mission at Cloud Springs Baptist
in Fort Oglethorpe, GA!


A gift of 24 pads arrived from Brigitte from Quebec, Canada!


124 pads were made donated by the Sew*Quilt*Share ladies
at our August meeting

Pad Donor Update - Winter 2016


So excited to share the packages that have been sent 
for the cloth feminine pad project! If you are unfamiliar with
this program, you can read about it here. I am humbled and amazed at the
number of hearts God is stirring to bless the young women of Haiti.

This post covers all packages received between 
January 1 and February 29, 2016. 
A total of 1,246 pads arrived from the following locations...




Billie sent these colorful pads all the way from from Sioux Falls, South Dakota!




These pads were donated at the Sew*Quilt*Share January Meeting.




Kathy from Minnesota sent this gift of pads, and included underwear,
soap, ibuprofen, and safety pins!




These pads were donated at the Sew*Quilt*Share February Meeting.




88 pads were sent by Shannon from New York.
These fabrics make me smile!





217 pads were donated by the 
Daughters of The American Revolution - Northwest District
and 
Nimble Fingers Quilt Guild, of Fostoria, Ohio.
They also included underwear, ibuprofen, several bars of soap, 
safety pins and extra fabric. Thank you ladies!






109 bags and 130 cloth feminine pads recently arrived from the 
Women and Girls of the Nampa, Idaho 
East Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
Thank you ladies!




The Girl Scouts of Central Texas Midtown Service Unit sent this 
gift of 73 pads. I love the thought of these girls sewing to bless other girls.
We appreciate your thoughtfulness!




A gift of 110 pads arrived from the Oakland County Quilt Guild of
Rochester, Michigan! Love these pretty fabrics!




114 colorful pads were donated by Heidi and the customers at 
Sew Nice in Upper Sandusky, Ohio!




250 pads were sent by Dorothy in Michigan.
Love these bright and cheerful fabrics!




116 pads were donated at the March Sew*Quilt*Share Meeting.
Thank you everyone for your kindness to the precious young women of Haiti!
