Gypsy Soul ATC's

Hello to all you crafters! Shanna here with some ATC's that are bright and colorful and full of Gypsy Soul. I created these ATC's for Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.

*Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.*

The first ATC I used the moon with the face.

The second I used a feather.

The third I used one of the stars.

I started with watercolor paper and watercolored the backgrounds. Then I used some foil on another square patch and watercolored those.

I really had a blast creating these fun little pieces and hope you enjoy some bright Summer creativity.

Tiny Little Birdhouses

Hey everyone. Welcome to another day of inspiration. With a bit of shadowbox inspiration. Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts has these amazing little boxes called Bagatelle Boxes.

*Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.*

I covered the boxes with resin, and painted everything with some yellow paint. I painted all of my chipboard pieces with other colors.

I used some wire to create the sign for my box.

Here you can see I added cardboard to give a little dimension which helped hide the wire as well.

Here you can see the resin detail on the outside of the box.

Here is the tiny bird box and tiny bird house. I love this piece. It definitely adds a pop of color to my desk as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I hope you found some inspiration and don't forget to join the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Facebook Group for more inspiration.

Add Saltwater

Hello to you all. Shanna here with a little mermaid magic I made for Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.

I had this really fun idea. I don't know about you but I remember when I was younger I had these cool things called Sea Monkeys. You just added them to water and they hatched and they had food and it was just really cool.

So combining sea monkeys for this idea for an art journal page with another favorite, mermaids. I would LOVE to become a mermaid and if only I could just add some salt and water like in the movie Splash. Then bam came the art journal page.

*Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.*

So I painted a background with some acrylic paint. Then I gave my mermaids a coat of gesso. While those dried I mixed some color up in the modeling paste and used it with the new stencils.

Letting the paste dry, I sprayed my mermaids with some sprays to give them more life. I used a heat gun to dry them quickly and then I glued them down to my journal and added the words.

Talk about a fun and quick art journal spread with some awesome chipboard pieces.

So for you mermaid lovers... just add some water and maybe a sprinkle or bucket of salt.

Altered Memo Board

Hello everyone. I decided to alter the Memo Board from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts and gave it a fun vintage finish.

*Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts provided me with some product to create this project. This post also contains affiliate links. The opinions I share are solely my own.*

First I added some clay pieces from Prima IOD Mould Baroque 5 to decorate the board.
I started with a base coat of teal chalk paint. Once it was dry I used some white wax in spots to create a resist. Then I painted over it with a light gray color. Once that was dry I scraped off the spots where the wax was that let teal show through.

Then I gave it a dark gray wash here and there and around the clay pieces.

Once dry it was finished. Here are some close ups!

Thank you so much for stopping by for some inspiration today.
