Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. We are doing something special for our themes for our tenth year here at Scribbles Designs, and that is to share each of our current DT's favourite challenge themes. As we are going in order of when each person joined the team, Helen is choosing the theme this time around. Whether you are into tea, coffee or another beverage of choice, we all have to drink! Given that Helen is from England, it is fitting that she choose a theme with tea in it.  Maybe someone you know needs some encouragement to 'perk up' or maybe it is time to tell someone special just how 'tea-riffic' they are! Whether you choose coffee, tea or a little blend of both, or something else entirely, we can't wait to see what you brew up! So, here is what you need to know to join us for our Sip & Savour theme...

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had just two entries so far this month so we'd really love to see some more of you join in!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. 

 

Before we start, I just wanted to give you all a heads up to let you know that the team is taking a break for the month of July for some well deserved rest and relaxation. Then, we'll return on August 15th with a brand new challenge (if everything goes according to plan).

 

Right now, it is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is Make it Monochrome and here is what you need to know to join us...

*Create a project using a MONOCHROMATIC COLOUR SCHEME. If you are not sure what that is, monochromatic is a colour scheme comprising of a SINGLE COLOUR USING DIFFERENT TONES of that one colour. Once you chose your base colour, choose different hues of that same colour, varying the saturation and tone of the base colour to pick out lighter and darker hues. Monochromatic example: shades of pink; shades of blue; shades of green; etc.*
