Today, I was wondering if you would like to embark
on a little adventure with us over here at Scribble Designs? Up for
some amusement and the opportunity to earn some goodies along the
way?! Well if your answer is 'YES', then keep reading...
It has been an amazing seven years and what better way to celebrate than to have a little
fun. That is why, each day over the next six days you are going to have the chance
to work through clues that will reveal six different letters. Each of
these letters will come together to form a word that you
need to figure out:

Clues will be released here on the challenge blog and also on each of the participating DT members' blogs to
help you figure out what the word is. You can see the full line up
below.
When you receive a clue, you must go to the store and figure out what
letter it is we are looking for. We won't be giving you the letters in the correct order so you'll need to unscramble all the letters you've collected over the six days in order to figure out the word. On the last day of the letter hunt event, you'll have the opportunity to leave a comment letting us know what you think the word is. I'll be leaving comment moderation on that post to ensure that it is fair for everyone.
You will be provided with a visual clue at each stop along the way, whether here or on a DT member's blog, to make sure
you find the correct image in the store.
Today though, I'm going to walk you through the entire process, which will give you your first letter.
- Go to the Scribbles Designs Store: http://buyscribblesdesigns.blogspot.ca
- In the labels section which you will find on the right hand of the page in the sidebar, click on Penguins. This will bring up all Sandy's fabulous penguin related images.
- Scroll through all the penguin images until you find the image that was used for our 7th birthday
banner (shown at the top of this post) and also on our special 7th
birthday badge (which can be found at the top of the right sidebar). Big thanks to Diane Louise for colouring up the image for our badge and banner!
- Once you have found the correct image in the store (below
the image and 'buy' button), you will see, "Letter For January 16th:", along with the actual letter which is in block style and has a snowflake background.
- Make note of the letter that you see and keep track of it.
- This is the first of your six letters.
Don't forget, when going through the store, you
need to keep scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on '
Older Post' in order to ensure that you see all images within the penguin section.
Now to make sure that you did it correctly you should have found the image:

Underneath the image and 'buy' button you should have found the following letter:
You now have one of the six letters filled in. So get ready to continue in our letter hunt! You will have until 8:59 p.m., PST, on Friday, January 31st, to complete the letter hunt and submit your answers. We want to make sure that as many of our
readers as possible have the chance to participate in Birthday Event #2.
Prizes!!!
What is hunt without prizes?! Everyone who gets the word correct will have a chance to win
ONE of the following:
The winner will be chosen randomly from among all correctly answered entries.
Additionally, everyone
who participates by
submitting a guess AND leaving a comment on every
single blog participating in the Letter Hunt (total of six comments), will receive
#206 Valentine Brrr-loon.
This is a bonus simply for playing along. Seems like
pretty good
incentive for joining in, doesn't it?! Well, I hope that you agree
