Today I would like to show you a blue/yellow lay-out I made for a publication in Simply Cards & Papercraft some time ago. I just love this funny photo of my niece and scrapped it with the Bo Bunny Genevieve collection.

Vandaag heb ik een blauw/gele lay-out te laten zien die ik voor een publicatie in Simply Cards & Papercraft heb gemaakt. Ik vind dit zo'n leuke foto van mijn nichtje Elise en scrapte hem met de Bo Bunny Genevieve collectie.

All papers and embellishments are from Bo Bunny, except from the the resin seagull. I also used lots of punchwork and paper tearing. 

Alle papier en embellishments zijn van Bo Bunny, behalve de resin meeuw. Ik heb verder veel gebruikgemaakt van ponswerk en scheuren.

Another Secret Garden Lay-Out

A few weeks ago I already shared a Secret Garden lay-out that I made with you. Today I will show you another lay-out I made with this wonderful Bo Bunny collection. It was published in Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine.

Een paar weken geleden liet ik een Secret Garden layout zien die ik had gemaakt. Vandaag heb ik nog een lay-out te laten zien die ik met deze prachtige Bo Bunny lijn maakte. Hij is al een tijdje geleden gepubliceerd in Simply Cards & Papercraft. 

I used lots of layers, punching and stamping on this lay-out. All the pretty doilies were cut out from the papers with a Cheery Lynn die.

Ik heb op mijn lay-out veel met laagjes, ponsen en stempels gewerkt. Alle leuke doilis heb ik uitgestanst uit het papier met een mal van Cheery Lynn.

Fly Away (Bo Bunny Publication)

Some time ago I had a few lay-outs published in the British Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine. I had lots of fun working with Bo Bunny's lovely Secret Garden collection. This is one of the spring-themed lay-outs that I made. The girl in the picture is a friend of mine.

Een tijdje geleden zijn er een paar lay-outs van mij gepubliceerd in het Engelse Cards & Papercraft Magazine. Ik heb daarvoor heerlijk gewerkt met Bo Bunny's mooie Secret Garden lijn. Dit is een van de lente-achtige lay-outs die ik voor de publicatie maakte. Op de foto staat een vriendin, Jolanda.

As you can see, I did lots of punching and layering on my lay-out. I also embellished my lay-out with a few chipboard shapes and some doilies. 

Zoals je kunt zien, heb ik me op deze lay-out weer flink uitgeleefd met laagjes en ponsen. Ook heb ik mijn lay-out verder versierd met chipboard figuren en een paar doilies.

Today's post is just a quick share of a lay-out that I made a few years ago, but forgot to share on my blog. It features the wonderful Bo Bunny Primrose collection and was published in Scrapbook Magazine UK. 

Vandaag even een snelle blogpost om een lay-out te laten zien die alweer een paar jaar oud is. Ik vergat hem steeds te laten zien op mijn blog. Voor deze lay-out gebruikte ik de mooie Bo Bunny Primrose collectie. De lay-out is ook verschenen in Scrapbook Magazine UK.

I did lots of layering on my lay-out with both papers and embellishments. I always love stapling emellishments on top of each other, because it gives your projects a more dimensional look. 

Ik heb veel gebruik gemaakt van laagjes op deze lay-out, zowel qua papier als qua embellishments. Ik vind het altijd heerlijk om verschillende embellishments op elkaar te stapelen, omdat je creaties er daardoor net iets meer 3D uitzien. 

This photo of me was taken in Rome back in 2013. I titled my lay-out "Home sweet home", because I always love going back home after a vacation. 

Deze foto van mij is genomen in Rome in 2013. Ik heb mijn lay-out de titel "Home sweet home" gegeven, omdat ik het stiekem altijd weer fijn vind om na een vakantie thuis te komen.

"Joy" Lay-Out for Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine

Bo Bunny's "Sleigh Ride" collection is definitely one of my favourites and I especially love the fact that this collection is not only perfect for winter lay-outs, but for other occasions as well. For the British magazine Simply Cards & Papercraft, I made three non-winter lay-outs with this beautiful range of papers. Here's the first one of the lay-outs that I made. We saw this adorable dog lieing on the street in Valencia last winter. I thought he was too cute not to photograph. 

Bo Bunny's "Sleigh Ride" collectie is een van mijn favoriete Bo Bunny lijnen. Ik vind het vooral leuk dat deze lijn niet alleen geschikt is voor winterse creaties, maar zich ook goed leent voor andere gelegenheden. Voor het Engelse tijdschrift Simply Cards & Papercraft maakte ik drie niet-winterse lay-outs met deze mooie lijn. Dit is de eerste van deze lay-outs. De hond op de foto kwamen we trouwens tegen in Valencia afgelopen winter. Ik vond hem te lief om niet op de foto te zetten.

The wings below the photo were cut out with a large Sizzix Bigz die. 

De vleugels onder de foto zijn uitgestanst met een grote Sizzix Bigz stans. 

I adhered a Bo Bunny chipboard embellishment on top of the wings and also added a wonderful charm to it. 

Ik heb een chipboard embellishment van Bo Bunny op de vleugels geplakt en heb vervolgens een bling kettinkje toegevoegd.

Publication

At the moment I'm enjoying a long weekend off! Tomorrow it's King's Day, a national holiday in my the Netherlands. Really looking forward to that! The best part of King's Day is that there is a flea market, where I can often find some pretty scrappable things :) 

But in the meantime I didn't want to ignore my little blog, so I thought I would show you two cards that were recently published in a Dutch magazine: Cards & Scrap. They both feature Bo Bunny's gorgeous "Star-Crossed" collection, which is just perfect for romantic cards.

Wat heerlijk, hè: zo'n lang weekend! Hebben jullie ook zo'n zin in Koningsdag? Ik vind het altijd heerlijk om over de vlooienmarkt te struinen op zoek naar leuke dingen en soms zelfs mooi scrapmateriaal. Dus dat wordt morgen al vroeg uit de veren en met een lege tas richting Amstelveen :)

In de tussentijd wilde ik ook mijn blog niet verwaarlozen, dus heb ik nog twee kaartjes te laten zien die een tijdje geleden zijn gepubliceerd in Cards & Scrap. Op beide kaarten gebruikte ik Bo Bunny's mooie "Star-Crossed" collectie, die zich maar al te goed leent voor romantische kaarten.

IJskoud for Bo Bunny (Candy Cane Lane)

Hi there!

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! My weekend was busy, but fun! I had a wonderful evening with friends on Friday, taught two workshops in a Dutch store on Saturday and spend today with my boyfriend and at my grandparents' house. There was not much time to spend on scrapbooking, but I'm looking forward to getting back to that tomorrow evening again :) 

Anyhow, I still have a lay-out to show you that I made some time ago for Bo Bunny. It was also published in the Dutch magazine Cards & Scrap. My lay-out is titled "IJskoud", which means "Ice cold" in English. I'm not at all into cold winter weather and am always looking forward to the first rays of sunshine in spring. That's what this winter lay-out is about.

Ik hoop dat jullie een fijn weekend hebben gehad! Mijn weekend was goed gevuld, maar vooral met leuke dingen! Vrijdagavond heb ik met vrienden doorgebracht, zaterdag heb ik twee workshops gegeven bij Essies en vandaag heb ik lekker rustig aan gedaan met Jeroen en ben ik nog even langs mijn opa en oma geweest. Voor scrappen bleef dus helaas niet zoveel tijd meer over, maar hopelijk kan ik het morgenavond na het studeren weer lekker oppakken :) 

Ik heb in ieder geval wel nog een lay-out van een tijdje terug te laten zien! Deze lay-out maakte ik voor Bo Bunny en is ook gepubliceerd in Cards & Scrap. Mijn lay-out is getiteld "IJskoud" en ik verwerkte er ook de vraag "Nice?" op. Met een vraagteken erachter, omdat ik niet bepaald fan ben van het koude, winterse weer. Geef mij maar het heerlijke lentezonnetje!

I framed my photo with a doily and a beautiful wood clock and arranged lots of doilies and stars around it. At first I wasn't quite sure about the large number of details and layers in this lay-out, but I think I kinda like the result now. 

Ik heb mijn foto geframed met een doily en een mooie houten klok. Verder heb ik een aantal uitgestanste doilies en sterretjes rondom mijn foto verspreid. Eerst vond ik mijn lay-out een beetje druk met alle laagjes en details, maar ik denk dat ik er uiteindelijk toch wel tevreden over ben.

Somewhere in Time... Tag & Card

Hi!

I hope you're enjoying the first weeks of 2015! For me, life is back to normal again and my second semester at Uni has just begun. Although I miss my days off, I also don't mind my normal life as a student. It feels good to write essays and work on assignments again. 

In the evenings I'm working on a couple of assignments for magazines and for the Bo Bunny blog. But before I can show those creations, I have two cards to share that I made for the previous issue of Paper Memories, a Dutch magazine. I used Bo Bunny's fabulous "Somewhere in Time" collection to make them.

Ik hoop dat jullie een beetje van de eerste weken van 2015 aan het genieten zijn! Mij bevalt het wel dat het gewone leven na de feestdagen weer is begonnen. Hoewel ik de lekker luie dagen uit de kerstvakantie wel een beetje mis, voelt het ook goed om weer aan het studeren te zijn. Stiekem kan ik best genieten van het werken aan opdrachten voor mijn studie!

In de avonden ben ik weer lekker aan het scrappen geweest voor een paar tijdschriften en voor het Bo Bunny blog. Maar voordat ik mijn nieuwe creaties mag laten zien, heb ik eerst nog twee wat oudere kaartjes die ik nog niet had geplaatst. Deze kaarten zijn gepubliceerd in het vorige nummer van Paper Memories. My second card features the gorgeous chipboard hot-air balloon from the Somewhere in Time collection. I loved this chipboard piece so much that I actually bought three packages of the chipboard so that I could use the hot-air balloon over and over again... ;)

Op mijn tweede kaart heb ik de mooie chipboard luchtballon uit de Somewhere in Time collectie verwerkt. Ik vond hem zo leuk dat ik wel drie pakjes van het chipboard heb besteld, zodat ik de luchtballon op drie in plaats van één creatie kon gebruiken... ;)

Wish Upon a Star (Publication in "Paper Memories")

I hope you have had a wonderful Christmas! In Holland the Christmas celebrations last two days, as we have both a first and a second Christmas day. Yesterday my mother's family came over to our house to spend the afternoon and evening together. Today I went to Jeroen's parents to have a nice dinner with his parents, Jeroen's brother and his brother's bride-to-be. Now it's time to go back to normal life again ;) 

In my blogpost for today I have a lay-out to show you that was published in the magazine Paper Memories #2 some time ago. I made it with Bo Bunny's gorgeous Enchanted Garden collection and a chipboard fence by Imaginarium Designs.

Ik hoop dat jullie een heerlijk Kerst hebben gehad! Wij hebben eerste kerstdag bij ons thuis gevierd met mijn moeders kant van de familie. Vandaag heb ik het overdag lekker rustig aan gedaan en ben ik 's avonds naar Jeroens ouders gegaan voor een kerstdiner met hen en Jeroens broer en diens bride-to-be. Het was weer een erg geslaagde Kerst! Maar ik vind het toch ook wel weer lekker dat het gewone leven nu weer begint ;)

Meow - for Paper Memories Magazine

Recently, a new magazine has been released in the Netherlands: Paper Memories. Manita Philipsen, whom I've known for quite some time, is the editor. I was really excited when she asked me to make something for this magazine, so of course I said "YES!" For one of my articles in the first issue I worked with Bo Bunny's "Happy Tails" collection. I made this lay-out with it about our cat Beertje. 

Een tijdje geleden is er een nieuw Nederlands scraptijdschrift op de markt gebracht: Paper Memories. Manita Philipsen heeft het nieuwe tijdschrift in het leven geroepen en ik moet zeggen dat het er prachtig en heel gelikt uitziet! Ik was dan ook dolblij toen ze mij vroeg om ook iets voor het eerste nummer te maken. Ik ging aan de slag met Bo Bunny's "Happy Tails" collectie en maakte deze lay-out over onze poes Beertje.

I just love the "Happy Tails" collection, because it's truly perfect for lay-outs about cats. The embellishments that are part of this collection are also really pretty. Don't you just love the adorable chipboard paws? 

De "Happy Tails" lijn is zo leuk om mee te werken, zeker als je zelf een kat hebt. Ik ben vooral weg van de embellishments die bij deze lijn horen. Zijn die pootafdrukjes van chipboard niet leuk? 

Of course I also did a lot of layering on this lay-out. The edges of most of the papers were inked and slightly distressed to make them stand out more.

Uiteraard kon ik het niet  laten om lekker veel laagjes te gebruiken. Ik heb de randen van de meeste laagjes beïnkt en een beetje gedistrest om ze beter op te laten vallen.

Bo Bunny Feature in CREATE Magazine

Bo Bunny has some exciting news to share! This month we are being featured in CREATE magazine. For this feature each Bo Bunny design team member worked with a beautiful lay-out, card or tag sketch and came up with one beautiful Bo Bunny creation. The final result of this is an online magazine filled with tons of wonderful inspiration!

I worked with the beautiful card sketch for this feature and made a card with the wonderful Madeleine collection. 

Bo Bunny heeft een leuk nieuwtje! Deze maand staat Bo Bunny namelijk in de spotlights in het e-zine CREATE magazine. Voor deze feature is elk Bo Bunny DT lid aan de slag gegaan met een mooie sketch voor een lay-out, kaart of tag en zijn favoriete Bo Bunny collectie. Het resultaat daarvan is een digitaal tijdschrift boordevol Bo Bunny inspiratie!

Je kunt het magazine hier (gratis!) bekijken, als je dat leuk vindt.

The past few weeks have been crazy busy for me. It has been really busy at University. Besides, I have unfortunately received bad news from two friends of mine, so I'm trying to spend as much time with them as I can too.

Anyway, I didn't want to neglect my blog, so I thought I would show you a card that I have made some time ago for a publication in the Dutch magazine Cards & Scrap. I made this card with Bo Bunny's gorgeous "Pop Quiz" collection.

Mijn blogpost van vandaag wordt helaas een vluggertje, omdat het alweer hoog tijd is om te gaan slapen ;) De afgelopen weken waren nogal druk voor mij. Ik heb best veel te doen voor mijn studie en heb helaas ook slecht nieuws gekregen van twee vriendinnen, met wie ik daarom probeer zoveel mogelijk tijd te besteden.

Today's blogpost will be a quick one, because it's bed time for me already ;) Tomorrow morning I'm heading to the airport with my boyfriend, because we'll spend the weekend in London. Woohoo, I simply can't wait! 

But before we'll fly away, I first have a card to show that was published in the Dutch magazine "Cards & Scrap" a few months ago. I used Bo Bunny's gorgeous Pincushion collection to make it.

Mijn blogpost voor vandaag zal een korte en snelle zijn. Het is hoog tijd om naar bed te gaan, want morgen moet ik weer vroeg uit de veren ;) Morgenochtend vlieg ik namelijk met Jeroen voor een lang weekend naar Londen. Ik kan niet wachten! Het is nog even hopen dat het weer meezit dit weekend, maar ook bij slecht weer vind ik het absoluut geen straf om in de Engelse hoofdstad te vertoeven ;) 

Maar voordat we naar Londen gaan, heb ik eerst nog een nieuw kaartje te laten zien. Deze was een paar maanden geleden gepubliceerd in het blad Cards & Scrap. Ik heb voor het kaartje de prachtige "Pincushion" lijn van Bo Bunny gebruikt.

Fall Lay-out for Scrapbook Magazine UK

With the rainy weather that we are currently having in Holland, I thought it was aout time to share a fall lay-out. It's actually a lay-out that I've made quite some time ago. It was published in Scrapbook Magazine UK a few months ago and now I'm allowed to post it on my blog as well. 

The beautiful papers and embellishments are all from Bo Bunny. I used their wonderful 'Autumn Song' collection, mixed up with Double Dot cardstock. On the photo you see my boyfriend Jeroen. He actually didn't like this photo of him at all, because in his opinion he looks 'too smooth' on this photo. But I think he looks pretty sweet on this photo and couldn't resist scrapping it. 

Met dit druilerige weer vond ik het de hoogste tijd voor een herfstlay-out! Of nou ja, dat is niet helemaal eerlijk. Deze lay-out heb ik namelijk alweer een tijdje geleden gemaakt. Hij is een paar maanden geleden gepubliceerd in Scrapbook Magazine UK, maar nu mag ik hem dan ook op mijn blog laten zien. 

Het prachtige papier is van Bo Bunny: de 'Autumn Song' collectie, gecombineerd met Double Dot cardstock. Op de foto staat mijn vriend Jeroen. Hij vindt zelf dat hij een beetje 'te soft' op deze foto staat, maar ik vond dit juist zo'n leuke foto en kon het niet laten om hem te scrappen.

Winter lay-out for Scrapbook Magazine UK

It's summer in Holland at the moment and the past few days it has been steaming hot. I even found it to warm to be outside, so I actually spent pretty much time scrapbooking in the shadow.

Although it's summer now, I still have a winter lay-out to share with you. I made this lay-out for an article about upcycling in Scrapbook Magazine UK. The papers and embellishments are from Bo Bunny's gorgeous "Winter Woodland" collection.

Jeetje, wat een hitte de afgelopen dagen! Ik vond het overdag zelfs vaak te warm om buiten te zijn en heb daarom vooral veel binnen in de schaduw zitten scrappen. Ook lekker! :)

Ondanks dat het hoog zomer is, heb ik vandaag een winterse lay-out te laten zien. Het is een lay-out die een tijdje geleden in Scrapbook Magazine UK is gepubliceerd. Ik heb hem gemaakt met het prachtige papier en embellishments uit Bo Bunny's "Winter Woodland" collectie.

I hope your week has been great so far. We're really enjoying Copenhagen and have had some amazing weather. Tonight we're flying back home again with lots of new photos to scrap ;)

Today I would like to show you a lay-out I made for an article in Scrapbook Magazine UK some time ago. I used the oldie but goodie 'Et Cetera' collection from Bo Bunny to make it. As my article was all about upcycling items I also included some non-scrap items in my lay-out, including a bank payment form and an old label.

Ik hoop dat jullie tot nu toe, ondanks het verlies van gisteren, een mooie week hebben gehad. Wij hebben genoten in Kopenhagen en hebben heerlijk, zonnig weer gehad. Vanavond vliegen we weer terug met een groot aantal nieuwe foto's erbij om binnenkort weer aan de scrap te kunnen ;)

Maar voordat jullie mijn Kopenhagen-layouts te zien krijgen, heb ik eerst nog een andere lay-out van een tijdje terug. Deze heb ik gemaakt voor een artikel in Scrapbook Magazine UK. Ik heb een oudere lijn van Bo Bunny gebruikt: Et Cetera. Hij blijft mooi, vind ik zelf. Ook heb ik een aantal niet-scrap artikelen gerecycled. Als je goed kijkt, kun je bijvoorbeeld een acceptgiro en een kledinglabel terugvinden op mijn lay-out.

Today I would like to show you a lay-out that was published in Scrapbook Magazine UK. I was asked to make a spring lay-out and used Bo Bunny's gorgeous "Country Garden" collection to make this lay-out.

Ik hoop dat jullie een mooi weekend en een fijne Vaderdag hebben gehad!

Vandaag zou ik graag een lay-out laten zien die is gepubliceerd in Scrapbook Magazine UK. De opdracht was om een lentelay-out te maken, dus ik ging met de mooie "Country Garden" lijn van Bo Bunny aan de gang en maakte er deze lay-out mee:

 Here's a better photo of the lay-out. I scrapped a photo of myself that was taken while I was visiting "De Keukenhof" with my dad. This is one of most famous Dutch touristic attractions. It's a huge flower garden with lots of beautiful tulips, roses, hydrangeas and many more flowers. 

Hieronder een betere foto van de lay-out. Ik heb dit keer een foto van mezelf gescrapt. Deze foto is alweer van een paar jaar geleden en is genomen in De Keukenhof. Dat vond ik wel mooi aansluiten op het lentethema :)

Love Card

Hi! I hope your weekend has been wonderful!

I've been enjoying two sunny days and got to spend some quality time with my boyfriend and family after a busy week at Uni. Next week will be another one, so this blogpost will be a quickie ;) 

I would like to show a card that I made for a publication in the Dutch magazine Cards & Scrap. I used the fabulous "Isabella" collection from Bo Bunny yet again.

Ik heb twee dagen lekker genoten van quality time met mijn vriendje en familie na een drukke studeerweek. Vanaf morgen ga ik weer hard aan de studie voor de laatste loodjes van mijn bachelor, dus ook deze blogpost wordt helaas een korte. 

Onderstaand kaartje heb ik al een tijdje terug gemaakt voor Cards & Scrap. Wederom gebruikte ik de prachtige "Isabella" lijn van Bo Bunny.

An Oldie with Bo Bunny Isabella

The past few weeks have been crazy for me with regard to work for Uni. That's also why I didn't have much time to spend on scrapbooking. But I handed in the draft version of my bachelor thesis today and also managed to finish another huge assignment, so I can finally count-down the days until summer vacation :)

I will soon have some more recent cards and lay-outs to show, but in the meantime I would like to share with you an older Bo Bunny lay-out. It's a lay-out that I made for a publication in Cards & Scrap with Bo Bunny's amazing "Isabella" collection.

De afgelopen weken waren nogal hectisch op het gebied van mijn studie. Daarom heb ik ook niet zoveel kunnen scrappen als meestal. Maar daar komt hopelijk snel verandering in. Vandaag heb ik namelijk de conceptversie van mijn bachelorscriptie ingeleverd en daarnaast heb ik een andere grote opdracht kunnen afronden. Het aftellen van de dagen tot de zomervakantie kan dus eindelijk beginnen! :) 

Ik heb hopelijk snel meer recente lay-outs en kaarten te laten zien, maar in de tussentijd moeten jullie het met een wat oudere Bo Bunny lay-out doen. Deze lay-out is een tijdje geleden verschenen in Cards & Scrap en heb ik gemaakt met Bo Bunny's geweldige "Isabella" lijn.
