Little One

I used Sketch #89 at Inspired Blueprints for this layout of Isla. This is going into her baby book. It is a photo of her in September when she was about a month old.

I dug into my stash and found these pretty old Momenta papers that I had hanging around. They were just the perfect colors to match her dress. I used my Silhouette to create a few embellishments because I didn't have many that went with this pack of paper. I cut the tags, flowers, leaves and retro border from papers in the collection and then used another border and stickers that went with the line.

Materials- Momenta Patterned Papers, Border, Stickers, Buttons, American Crafts Thickers, Brad (unknown), Authentique Sticker Phrase and Letter Stickers, Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Silhouette

Shower and Wedding

My daughters wedding shower is this weekend and she wanted to have an Apron Theme, where there would be a prize for who wore the best apron to the party. I had found this cute idea on Pinterest where someone had made an apron shaped card, so of course, it was the perfect fit with her theme. So this is my card that I made for her. I hope she likes it! I used some Momenta papers and some odds and ends from my stash to create this card.

Over the weekend I whipped up these little reserved signs for some tables at Laya's upcoming wedding. She had found these cute frames at the dollar store and said, "Mom, can you make me some signs for the tables?" I had no idea where to even start on this one. LOL! I pulled out the Cricut and actually used the Craft Room to do the word reserved. That welding feature is really great.  I added some little flowers that I made and some dollar store stickers and butterflies to dress them up abit. She really loved how they turned out.

Easter

Every Easter Saturday, we make up an Easter Basket to take to Church to bless. This year, Renee and I worked on changing the flowers on our basket as the old ones had faded and were starting to fray. She really enjoyed this project. At the bottom of the basket is a cloth that her grandma cross stitched for her. It's one of those traditions that I look forward to doing every year. I used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy to do this layout. I had won these Momenta papers and I thought they matched Renee's dress so well that I had to use them even though they aren't traditional Easter colors.
