The Pixie Cottage meets Everybody-Art-Challenge

It's Friday again already......... Where does the time go? Today I am back with a very cute new image available from The Pixie Cottage. She is form the Southern End Girl line for The Pixie Cottage. She is so sweet and fun to paint. I have used a very fun sketch over at Everybody-Art-Challenge. It is a beautiful sketch and works well with this image. I have mixed and matched my paper as usual. Use a few prima flowers along with punching a flower out of a page from an old book with my Paper Shapers punch and then added a circle of felt with a button for the center. I think it works well with this image.

The Pixie Cottage is looking for their very first design team!! They are a new stamp company with a wide variety of stamps. They specialize in whimsical designs, as well as background and accessory stamps that work well with other stamp lines. They are looking for a handful of design team members who are ready to grow with them and show their talent by making cards, altered art, scrapbook pages and whatever else they can dream up with their products. Click on the name to take you to the blog for more information. Help spread the word for Michelle.

Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog today. I want to wish you a very nice weekend. janny

At THE BEACH....

Good Sunday morning,

My card today is not much to my liking. I am not sure why I don't like it but I just don't. It has very bright papers and lots of sparkle and shine. So maybe that is why. I have used the mermaid stamp by The Pixie Cottage. She has the bigget most beautiful eyes!! The stamp can be pre-order at Michelle's Scrap booking and More. I have used the theme from Cute Card Thursday Challenge #73 At The Beach

Okay, I wasn't going to tell this story but I guess I will. Maybe some of you need a little laugh today.
The other day when I was doing photos of my Colour Create Challenge DT card.(below on blog) I took the photos out by my pond in the backyard and as I am taking the photos a whirl wind came out of no where and picked up my card and put it in the pond!!! At least I did get 2 photos before it happened so not a total lost. But the card is a wreak now.... :o( Well, today with this card I thought I would try the pond as my back drop again... I know, I know did I NOT learn my lesson the first time!! LOL.......So I go out to take the photos of this card for today by the pond. But I get more daring and put the card in the middle of the pond on a ledge and start to shooting away. All the while hubby is standing there shaking his head and saying it's going to go in the pond again!! And of course he asks me didn't you learn your lesson yet!!! uuhhhhhhhggggggggg!!! I just hate it when he says things like that to me. LOL...Well did the card go in the pond???? NO!!!!!!!!!!!! All is well.......but as soon as I finished up the wind started to blow. Just lucky today is all....

Well got to run for now..
Wishing you all a great day in whatever you do...
